He look around and found it a few feet from the boy body, he gently pick up the teenager carefully without removing the piece of metal who was impaled in his stomach for not aggravated his situation and start running at hyper speed toward Yuei High knowing Recovery Girl is probably at the school since it still a school day. He still run at hyper speed even when he enter the school ground activating the security but he didn't care, a life is in danger and he need the best doctor in the country to safe his protege's life. He slow down only when he face the nurse office and open the door with his foot and completely destroying the door and the framing.

Yagi put the teenager on one of the operating table and she start working, during that time many heroes who work as teacher arrived at the nurse office to look what activate the security and they witness the number one hero with a lot of blood on his costume and the old nurse operating on a kid.
Yagi sit on a chair in the hallway worrying for the green hair teenager in the other room, Nezu sited next to him trying to calm his old friend.

Yagi change his suit for one without blood on it and goes to the Midoriya apartment. At first Inko Midoriya was very surprised seeing the number one hero at her door and then she realized it, something happened to her little Izuku. Yagi didn't want to lied to her so he start explaining everything, the day he met young Midoriya for the first time, the sludge incident, their conversation on the rooftop and the second one in the alley. He also reveal her the nature of his quirk and his wish to pass it on Izuku, giving him the chance to become the most powerful hero in the world.
Even if Inko understand everything she can't stop crying knowing her son is in a critical condition due to a accident. Yagi offer to bring her to Yuei, she deserve to be with her son. He pick up in his arm and jump over the city toward the school without losing time. When they arrived they where greeted by the principal, the mammal bringing them the news Recovery Girl have finish operating the young boy but the news where not that good. He escort both to the nurse office where they where meet by the old lady with a sad face.
She explain both the work she did on the young lad, she manage to save his life but the aftermath of the accident are critical, she cannot reattach his missing right arm due to the injury, she had to amputate both his legs since they where crushed beyond repair, his spine was broken in 3 different place, she manage to heal it but the spine will always be fragile to other injuries, and his right eye was also very damaged she had to remove it, the only good news she had for them is the metal shard who had pierce his stomach didn't reach any vital organ and she manage to heal the injury without too much problem. Now the young man is in a artificial coma to help him regain strength after the many surgery she practice on him.
Days passed and Inko spend all her days at Yuei with her son, most teachers and school staff try to stay with her to console the poor mother, she didn't come home for days and Recovery girl grant her a bed next to her son. She end up receiving a call from her workplace telling her they fire her because she don't want to work anymore, they don't care if her quirkless son is in a critical state. Seeing the poor woman condition Yagi took on him all the woman expanses and pay for the next year to come her rent and other bills she had. During that time Toshinori was not in a better state, off course he keep his smile when he is on the job patrolling and saving life but more than ever that smile is fake, all his thought is for the young man he had hope being his successor but now the dream is almost impossible. He promise the boy he will help him became a hero and his misjudgment about his training regime just rip him of his new hope of achieving his dream. One day he wake up and grab his phone to see if during the night Inko or Chiyo send him some news about young Midoriya but as usual nothing but he saw something else, today was the birthday of his goddaughter Melissa and Yagi had a illumination, if someone know how to help young Izuku it's his friend Dave, if not him someone on I Island may had a solution to repair the body of the young lad. So Toshi made the most important phone call of his life.
A phone ring wake up a man, he look at the alarm clock on his nightstand and saw it is 2:00 AM.
-Who the hell call me at that time? it's better be important. (The man pick up his glasses and look at the caller ID to see the name ALL MIGHT on the screen.) Toshi? What's going on? Do you know what hours it is?

Yagi tell him the story, the accident the young Midoriya had, the severity of his injuries. He ask his old friend if he know a way to help the young man to at least have a decent life. David Shield was flabbergasted by his friend story and he was thinking a lot until he have a idea.

Both men hang up their phone, David goes in his kitchen to pour himself a piping cup of joe and went to his computer. He log in his work files and open one labelled as '' Project Heroes Rebuilt ''.
Yagi came to Yuei as he does everyday before his patrol schedule to visit Inko and Izuku. This morning he have a genuine smile on his face because he have hopeful news for the worried mother. Toshinori explain to Inko his chat with his friend David Shield and his idea of testing his new project on the young man, Inko was not sure at first but Toshinori persuade her to at least talk to the man, he explain her he is one of the top scientist on the planet, both being friend for over 2 decades and he trust him with his life. Inko accept to speak with the American man later that day when Toshinori will call Melissa.
That day David Shield went to the Island board to persuade them to agreed on Project Heroes Rebuilt, he explain them he need a test subject and he have the perfect one since the child is quirkless, meaning the firsts test will be on neutral ground without a quirk to interfere with the experiment. They where not sure about it and he had to use his last card to convince them.
-Gentleman, i did not ask you all of this for myself, off course Project Heroes Rebuilt mean a lot to me but i received a urgent call this morning from Japan number one hero himself All Might. The boy is someone close to him and since All Might is a personal friend i promise him i will help the boy, do you really think me or all of you can refuse that to All Might, he save our planet i can't count how many times and I'll be damned if i will not help someone close to him.
The board discuss for only a few minutes before accepting their top scientist request. Nobody want to upset the famous All Might so off course they agreed to continue on the human experimentation part of the project. Later that day after Toshinori called Melissa to wish her a happy birthday Inko goes to the phone to have a long chat with the famous David Shield, they spend almost a hour on the line and Toshinori can swear he hear he laugh at a moment, something the poor woman didn't do in weeks since her son is in that state. They both agree to transfer Izuku on a private plane in the next few days and All Might agree to come with them to visit his old friend in the same occasion.
They travel to I-Island 2 days later and they where greeted by David Shield, his daughter Melissa (who jump in her godfather arms the second she saw him) and a team of medical expert who take care of Izuku's unconscious body the second they got out of the plane. David escort Inko and Toshinori to his personal lab and he explain the big lines of the project to them. The idea is to replace his missing limbs and eye with highly advanced robotic parts and augment his body to sustain the charge of those parts.
-I have a question Dave, those robotic parts you want to gave him, will they function like a normal arm and legs?
-Eh yes off course, the goal of the project is to help heroes who lose a limb during a fight, we wish to bring them back on the field at 100% of their previous capacities.
-Yeah but if a hero with i don't know a strength augmentation quirk lose a arm, will you be able to gave him a arm with a similar mechanical strength to compensate the quirk?
-Yes, this is main the part of the project, same thing for a emitter quirk, by example if i had to replace a arm to Endeavour, we will work to give the arm fire proprieties like heat resistance and even a powerful flamethrower.

-Look, you know the secret of my quirk, don't worry Inko know too cause i have in mind at first to train young Midoriya to be my successor, it's during his training he got hurt by my fault, i know for sure i cannot give to him anymore if he have robot part because the quirk will be too strong for those limbs and he will destroy them at the first use but if you can replicate quirk can you make him a hero body, i don't know like give him super strength on the arm and both legs or a laser on the arm or something like that, the boy want to be a hero more than anything and he have the heart too.
David was thinking for a moment, if Toshinori was willing to gave him One For All that mean the boy need to be a hero...yeah he can make it work.

David and his team spend a week planing the operation, they finish building the bionic limbs and eye and programming everything needed to perform the surgery. The morning of the grand operation the entire island board where present in a conference room with Inko and Toshinori (in his skeletal form, pretending to be the boy uncle to whoever ask who he is) and they can witness the work of David and his team by video conference. Before the operation begin David address a little speech to the board to present them the first test of Project Heroes Rebuilt.
-Welcome to the first test on a human for the Project Heroes Rebuilt, Izuku Midoriya, a quirkless teenager who aspire to became a hero. A man barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. The board applaud the scientist speech and the operation begin, they spend almost 10 hours attaching the 3 artificial limbs and bionic eye in the teenager body.
