The weeks passed and Izuku execute many test to know the real limits of his body, he learn he can lift a weight of 15 tons with his arm, he learn his non-bionic part don't collapse when he lift that kind of weight over his head because of the nanobots he have in his body who connect everything together with the reinforced spine and bones they have augmented, he also learn if his bionic parts where damaged somehow the nanobots in his body will use his body fat to replicate and self-repairing his mechanical parts, that include the fake skin who recover his legs and arm, all he have to do is eat more rich food to help the nanobots replication system. His legs are stronger than his arm, he can push around 20 tons with them. He discover he can run for hours without getting tired since his legs don't feel fatigue or pain, his top speed is 125 mph (200 kmh) and he can make a single leap of 30 feet high if he don't use the reactors he have in his feet who let him literally fly.
When he test his laser cannon in his arm he discover he can shoot a low intensity beam who can stunt a average human up to a destructive laser beam who can cut through steel. He will refrain to use that ability because it clearly show in his hand the cannon when the false skin open to reveal the cannon mouth. He's not ready yet to tell everyone he is a cyborg, he prefer lying and saying he have a strength enhancement quirk for the moment.
The weeks passed and the relation between Izuku and Melissa grow stronger, Melissa is literally the first real friend Izuku have, after chatting a lot with Melissa he realized Bakugo was never his friend and he was only a insecure bully who try to show the world he's better than his own insecurities. Melissa love spending time with Izuku, being quirkless she didn't have a lot of friend growing up, she prefer spending her time studying and doing research with the goal to work with her father in the future, Izuku understand her situation and what she had to endure growing up. They both really love each other but they realize really soon it's not romantic love but more like a brother/sister relationship.
The brother/sister relationship became a real one when a evening they both catch David and Inko kissing in the backyard one in each other arms. Melissa and Izuku where happy because they know each of their respective parent where lonely since Izuku's dad die a few years ago during a villain attack when he was at work and Melissa's mom have lost her life while giving birth. David raise Melissa by himself and he never have or take the time to even think about dating someone else. He confess to both teenager when he meet Inko the first time when she get out of the plane with Toshinori it was the first time since Melissa's mother he get that spark in his heart and Inko confess she also fell under Cupid's arrow when she saw the scientist for the first time. They may not be what you consider a normal family but none of the 4 persons of that new family care, they all love each others and they are happy like that.
In the blink of a eye almost 4 months passed since Izuku get his bionic limbs and there is only 2 weeks before the recommendation exam, Izuku finished packing his luggage when his mother come to his room.
-Izuku, can we talk about something important?

-Mom, i never see you that happy since...i can't remember. Melissa and I where talking about it last week and we where planing to convince you to stay here if you try to came back to Japan with me.

-I'll be okay, i can cook and clean, I'm sure you will put money on my bank account for groceries and others things and i know Toshinori already have pay the rent and other expanse for the next few months, I'm pretty sure i can manage it. Eventually i even plan to move to a smaller apartment near the school if I'm accepted, i will send here all your personal stuff and souvenirs. And don't think we won't see each other, we can still video-chat frequently and i plan to come back here for holidays and vacations
-I'm so proud of you my baby, and don't worry about the money, Since David offer me a secretary job at his lab i can pay for everything you will need, i will give you enough for food and any expanse you will have, just don't spend all on All Might toys.
-Don't worry mom, to be honest i think i will downgrade my merchandise collection. Since i meet him I'm still a fan but not a crazy fan like i used to be. To be honest i will probably spend most of my free time studying robotic and mechanic since Melissa got me hooked on that. I also want to get dad's old motorcycle running, i know he left it in the building garage all those years ago and the landlord wish to see her either gone or rolling one day. I may have save for a few years to buy parts and i plan to pass my licence this week before the exam.
-That old bike, i never have the heart to get rid of it. Oh my i remember when your dad used to take me on a ride with him before...yes Izuku, I'm pretty sure he will be happy for you to have it, she's all yours now, just be careful.

The day after just before Izuku enter the plane to take him back to Japan Melissa hug him while telling him she will miss him a lot at house and they promises to talk everyday. David put a hand on his shoulder and smile at him before hugging him.

David was surprised by the young man but he understand, they are now a family and he know Inko consider Melissa like a daughter and he really like the idea of being Izuku's father.

When Inko say goodbye at her son, both almost flood the with their tears while crying they will miss each other the second he will step in that plane. After one last hug and a promises to call her when he get home Izuku embark the plane and take his seat to return to his native land, his beloved Japan.
After long hours of flight Izuku is back in his homeland, he call a taxi to take him to his old apartment, The landlady is happy to see him in great shape after she hear he get in a terrible accident, she is sorry to not see Inko anymore but she's happy for the woman to have found love after all those years of widow her husband. He spend the first day cleaning the dust and doing grocery shopping. The second day he contact the local mechanic shop for them to pick up the bike and get it fixed, he know she only need a general check up and tuning but he don't have the time to do it. Later that day he is at the Government vehicle service centre and meet the licence examiner he previously scheduled the week before. He passed the exam with flying colour and he's granted with his motorcycle licence. The next few days Izuku spend them relaxing and boxing his mothers things to send them to the island. 2 days before the exam Izuku got his bike back, after they deliver it to his home he didn't wait any longer and he ride her for a few hours long enjoying every single minutes of it.
The morning of the exam he ride his motorcycle to Yuei and park it next to Toshinori pick up, wondering why his truck is here, maybe he need to be here since he's the one recommending him. He enter the building and he notice the tall man among the others peoples already here.
-Uncle Might, it's good to see you again.
-I see young Melissa rub her habit on you.
-He he, well since Mom and David are dating now he's kinda my new father from now so your my uncle like you are Melissa's.

Oh and don't worry about the school staff, they already know for your implants since you spend so much time in our recovery facilities almost everyone run into your mother one day and befriend her, so everyone know how badly you where injured and i had to tell them you got high tech prosthetic for your legs and arm. In the case you are accepted here in our school you won't have to worry about your secret with the staff.

Izuku regroup with the others candidate few minutes later and the pro hero Present Mic greeted them and explain they will start with a hard written exam. After the allowed time they where greeted by the principal himself who introduce himself and lead them for the physical portion of the exam. He did a quirk race with a tall guy who can control and generate wind and a girl who creates a whole moppet from her skin. After the race, he hears an argument between the wind guy and another dude with his hair 2 colours about Endeavour. When he saw the two dudes were about to have a fistfight he grabs the two by the shoulder and try to intervene.
-Come on guys, we're not here to fight but to pass a exam for our future, why don't you goes your separate way instead of glaring at each other.
The tall guy look at Izuku and smile at him before bowing really low and hard, when he lift himself his forehead was covered in blood but he still smile at the green hair teenager.
-You are right, it's not cool to fight here, i let my passion for my hate about the number two hero blind me.
The other teenager with bi-coloured head just glare at Izuku before walking away the others and sit on a chair alone.
After the race the 6 candidates who did the race the fastest where called by the principals for a private interview and the others 10 candidates left where invited to come pass the normal entrance exam in 5 days. The 6 candidates who where called all sited in a little room waiting for their turn to be called. Izuku is sited next to the black hair girl who did the race with him and a green hair girl with fluffy hair who introduce her to the others.

They where interrupted when someone came in the room and called Momo Yaoyorozu for her interview. Not even 15 minutes later the same person came and call someone else until it was Izuku's turn.

He read the files for a few instant and start for a 10 minutes analyze about a permeation quirk, naming every strength and weakness he can think and scenario how the quirk can be used as hero and villainous situation.

You do realize if you never meet Yagi that knowledge would be lost forever? You could have became one of the best quirk annalist so far to be honest.
