Waking up after a good nap always cheered me up...even if the nap was caused by my mental fatigue of fighting a serial rapist. And shouldn't [Gamer's Mind] take care of mental fatigue?
[Gamer's Mind deals with Harmful Psychological effects]
Isn't fatigue a Harmful effect?
[Not when you are not fighting]
I guess?
And the rewards from my quest...scare me. I got a Teigu, which means I'm in Akame Ga Kill. I have to start training in the I.D fast. Or I'm gonna die real fast. I shivered slightly as I remember the atrocities the empire committed against people. I already witnessed on- Wait a fucking second who is Champ?!
[You didn't read the manga?]
No, I just watched the anime. Wh-Oh! This is the manga version?
[More of an amalgamation of both]
What do you mean by an Amalgamation of both?
[I mean that this universe has traits from both the manga and the anime]
So...it's much worse?
[In a certain way, you could say it is worse]
So it's really bad then...Great, I'm in a death world where one of the main antagonists could freeze fucking time. Sure it's once a day but that would still allow her to kill me. And if you could, can you give me a rough estimate of the highest power level?
[The highest rank would go to a Danger beast, which is it at Divine Spirit Rank]
Divine Spirit?
[If you looked at your status you would notice that there is a rank. Currently, you are at Mortal, but with certain requirements, you would be able to advance to higher ranks. I'll give you a list of ranks and their modifiers]
Mortal - ×1

Are you telling me the strongest thing here has at least twenty times as many stats as me?!
[At least 600 times as much stats than you]
What?!
[You could always train to fight the danger beast]
Well, I always have [ID create] for training and I could always steal more Teigus...Wait, can I roll the Gacha with my Gacha tokens?
[Go ahead]
I pulled out both Gacha tokens from my inventory and opened the capsules. One of the capsules was empty while the other manifested an old leather book.
Trait Gained
[Sadomasochist (Physical)]You revel in the pain of others and yourself. This will constantly cause you to seek physical pain for yourself and others.
Item Gained
[Nen Awakening Manual And Guide To Basic Uses Of Nen]A book that upon reading it will cause the user's Nen to Awaken. It also has the fundamentals of Nen and its uses.
Wha-What?! I could gain traits from the Gacha?! I thought it was only items!
[It's a Gacha what did you expect?... The kid is looking our way, go deal with him or something]
And true to the Game's words the kid looked my way and flinched. Why did he flinch? Oh! he must be traumatized at what happened since it seems only his sister is alive. "Mi-mister are you awake?", he said as he slowly approached me. I raised my brow as I noticed he was checking for injuries on my body.
"So...How did this exactly start?", I asked him. He stopped looking for wounds on me after finding out my body didn't even have a scar (Gamer's Body is OP). "Champ came to our village as an entertainer for the children of the village... At first, he was quite nice until the imperial army came looking for him. He was called to speak with the Son of the Prime Minister. And then he... he stated killing people with his Teigu, and the imperial army di-DID NOTHING! THEY JUST LAUGHED AS PEOPLE DIED!", the boy screamed in outrage as he shed tears.
I hugged the kid as he cried. Damn it... it was worse than I thought. He was genuinely traumatized, and the fact that the son of the Prime Minister is a part of this massacre doesn't help. Wait, wasn't the son Surya? The guy who started the Wild Hunt? Oh boy... Game give me a Quest to kill that Bastard!

"Kid, what's your name", I asked him as he finally stopped crying. "My name is John, sir", he said with a noticeable clearness to his tone. The more I looked around the Tavern we were in I noticed something I should have noticed before sleeping. There were bodies everywhere! Fresh dead bodies for me to eat! I wouldn't eat them now because of John and how traumatized he is...but I will eat them.
"What's your name, Mister?", John asked me in curiosity. Hmm...Should I tell him my name? I remember the true name bullshit that can get people killed... I'll just tell him, I'll worry about that later. "My name is Amir Youssef", I said as he nodded and pointed to his sister. "Her name is Jeanne, Mr. Amir... I know this is too much to ask but can you help bury my family?", he asked me with a hopeful tone and... puppy dog eyes. He reminded me so much of my little brother... Game can I go back to my old world?
[I plan on you going back home, so rest assured]
Thanks, Game.
[You're welcome]
After my short exchange with the Game, John led me to his family's dead bodies. They were all stabbed to death with what I presumed to be a sword. The mother's body was more gruesome as it showed signs of sexual abuse before she died. And... There was the body of a baby. A baby's dead body.
Wha-Why would they do this? For shits and giggles? For fun? This scene only made me anticipate Surya's death by my hand. I picked up his father's and mother's body and Rohan picked the Baby's as he cried soft tears. I followed John as he led me to the stream I previously woke up at. He started digging a grave for his family and I did the same. It was...very disturbing to say the least, here I was after dying and getting revived with an awesome power only to find out the world I'm in is very depressing.
It was unbelievably disturbing.
As we finished burying his family we walked back to the village. I think it was now that John finally noticed all the bodies of what I presumed were his friends. I comforted him as he cried by slowly patting his back. We walked back to the tavern to his still unconscious sister, who I used my Gamer's Eye on.
[Status: Unconscious: 3 hours 25 mins]
She was still unconscious, so I told John to look after her while I go eat the corpses of the villagers. I know I wouldn't be able to eat all of them since I estimated more than a hundred corpses but I should be able to eat the corpses of the Guards or just Corpses that seem strong in general.
Before I ate any corpses I went around looking for weapons. Walking around the village I noticed everything was unusually quiet. There weren't any birds chirping or anything else that would signify that there were animals around. I sped up my search for weapons because of the unease I felt. It had to be a Danger Beast I didn't know about because this was certainly not normal.
I ran into a storage house that had a faint smell of metal. I walked into the storage house and found a bunch of farming tools and some weapons. I took the weapons and put them in my inventory, but not before using Gamer's Eye on them.
[Iron Sword] × 12
Just your regular iron sword. It's a bit chipped but it does its job.
Deals 15 slash damage and STR×1
[Iron Spear] ×15
Just your regular iron spear. It's a bit chipped but it does its job.
Deals 15 piercing damage and STR×1
The weapons I had weren't the best since I could do more damage with my skills, but they don't cost SP so they were an acceptable alternative. Now that I had my weapons it was time to eat. I walked around the village picking the corpses of strong-looking people. In total, I had about Twenty corpses with me which I proceeded to devour.
The bodies tasted good, kind of like beef but with less fat. One by one, the corpses slowly dwindled until there was nothing left. I was kind of sad that I had to get out of here before I could get another bite, but a feeling told me to get out of here as fast as possible. The gains were worth it though.
Stats Gained:
+ 36 STR, + 28 END, + 30 DEX, + 25 INT, + 29 WIS, + 15 CHA, + 23 LUK
Skills Gained:[Sword Proficiency(Amateur)](Passive), [Spear Proficiency(Amateur)](Passive), [Farming Proficiency(Adept)](Passive)
I would have called bullshit on knowing how to use a Sword and Spear at... well an amateur level but I couldn't complain because of my circumstance. Farming Proficiency was uncounted for though since I expected the bodies to be all guards. I guess farmers could look buff too.
I walked back to the Tavern, where John and Jeanne currently were, and saw John still tending the unconscious body of his sister. Using Gamer's Eye, I saw that she had about 2 hours to wake up. Plenty of time to get out of here because the sense of foreboding was getting stronger. I picked John and his sister up and hefted them on my shoulders and ran.
John screamed as we whizzed past the village and unto a road made for what I presumed was carriages. By the time John stopped shouting we were far away from the village and in a plain field. I looked around checking for any dangers...there were none-immediate dangers. I put both John and Jeanne down, while I wondered what the fuck was causing such a reaction in me.
Hidden Racial Trait Revealed:
[A Beast's Sense Of Danger]
The Chimera ant evolved from the unbelievably dangerous lands of the Dark Continent. While the use of Phagogenesis allows their race to survive in the Dark Continent, sometimes a stronger prey will find a way to end them. This caused the Kings and Queens of the race to sense immediate danger. This trait gives you the ability to immediately sense danger to your immediate being.
A hidden trait? And what does it mean by immediate danger?
[Esdeath was going to investigate why the village was massacred]
…
I'm not going to think about that…
Walking over to the startled boy I started asking him questions. "How far is the capital of the Empire from here?", I asked as he stood up.
"It would take a day's travel by walking and a few hours on a carriage. Wait, why the capital?! I know some villag-"
"Do you have family living there?", I cut him off and asked. He looked at me and shook his head in silence. The sun was already setting and it was getting dark. I could have gone to the village that John was hinting at...but I had other plans.
Game could I just make an empty I.D and put the children in there?
[Sure, why not. But while you're at it, you might as well train.]
Of course, I'm gonna train just need to keep the kids alive.
[Alright]
I pondered on how to use my skill before deciding to simply will the world into becoming empty and the results surprised me.
I.D Entered: [Empty] (Hub Type)
We were in an abandoned city I immediately recognized as my neighborhood. John was surprised at the change of scenery, while I was more surprised at the fact the Game had a complete replica of my Neighborhood. I looked around and saw that my house was just right across the road. "Let's get you in the house", I said as John hesitantly nodded. I held his unconscious sister while he walked with me and as we made it into my house I noticed that it was empty. My eyebrows furrowed as I walked in, and saw that it had no furniture.
"John, stay here and watch over your sister", I told him as I walked into my room. It was still furnished with my bed and the closet still had my clothes. Oh! my Nintendo 3DS was still here and it works too! I'll give it to John while I go to the Training I.D, so he could be occupied.
"You can stay in the room, and put your sister on the bed. Here, use this to play games", I said as I shoved the 3DS in his hands.
"How exactly can this play games?!", he asked with skepticism as I facepalmed. Of course, he wouldn't know how to use a Nintendo 3DS. I showed him how to use it and show him how to play pokemon. At first, he was confused but he began to understand quickly.
"Alright, I'm coming back after a few hours...just don't do anything stupid.", I said as I walked out of the house. Game, how exactly does the grinding part of I.D work?
[That's a bit tricky]
Why?
[There's the Standard Dungeon which you are about to enter and Special Dungeons which can be opened through the use of Dungeon keys]
So, the Standard Dungeons are proportional to my level? And dungeon keys?!
[Yes, they always are. And Dungeon keys are...well keys to new Dungeons. They could be gained from a Quest or the Store]
Let me guess...The store isn't available to me yet?
[The Store is available at Level 30]
Alright, send me to the Training I.D!
[Okay~]
The world changed around me as I was teleported into a new place. It was a beautiful and luscious field of grass, with an amazing baby blue sky. I was dumbfounded at how such a beautiful place could be for fighting until I noticed the short green men walking about.

I used [Fist Strike] and completely obliterated the Goblin's head. The other Goblins were alerted at the demise of their comrade and promptly swarmed me. I counted about twenty Goblins, each of them having about 250 to 500 HP. I used [Fist Strike] against one of the Goblins that came near me and turned it into a mist of blood. Even at the scene of their comrade turning into mist they still charged me. I sidestepped away from the dagger of a goblin that tried to ambush and kicked on its chin rattling its brain and stunning it. While it was stunned I picked it up and used its body as a weapon battering some of the unfortunate Goblins that came my way.
?!
A laughing Goblin managed to hit my back with his club surprising me for a bit, but that was enough for the other goblins to swarm me. While their hits weren't that damaging, it was still annoying so I retaliated with a [Flurry]. Three of my blows killed three Goblins, while the other two only injured a few Goblins. The eight remaining Goblins looked at my scratched form and all nodded at each other and jumped at me. I jumped out of the way and kicked another Goblin's chin. Kicking the paralyzed Goblin I punched another in the face, then grabbed it and threw it at the rest of his comrades. The resulting collision caused the death of five Goblins.
The last three looked at me with a resigned look as I killed them with a [Flurry] attack. I nodded at all the dead bodies that I was going to eat before the bodies slowly dissolved into motes of blue light before turning into chests...What?!

I walked towards the 'loot' that the Goblins dropped. There was a wooden crate, 3 glowing crystals, a glowing green dagger, and a sack of coins. I picked the sack of coins and used Gamer's Eye on it.
150 credits
Hmm...This must be the Game's currency for the shop. I put it in my inventory and inspect the rest of the items.

I put everything except the Stat Crystals in my Inventory. I crushed the crystals and felt a little increase in my power. Not as good as leveling up but it's still intoxicating. The grass fields I'm in didn't have any more Goblins for me to kill so I prepared to leave.
?!
I jumped out of the way of a giant Battleaxe that shattered the ground where I formerly stood. I dodged again as The Battleaxe was swung at my sides. A 6-foot tall Goblin that was wearing barbarian armor glared balefully at me.

That is a lot more HP than I expected...guess it's time to use the Teigu. I pulled out 6 distinct orbs from my inventory and looked for any blind spots that the Goblin had. While I was looking for blindspots it charged at me and hit me. I smirked as I used [Counter] and returned the damage. While I still lost some HP, the goblin lost the most HP.
Goblin Warrior
Level - 30
HP - 2995/3500
The Goblin was temporarily stunned at the damage, which gave me enough time to throw an Orb at him. It jumped out of the way, but not before the Orb hit his arm. It's arm completely froze and fell off making Goblin look at it's detached frozen arm. Instead of shouting out in pain it simply growled out in rage. I used [Flash Steps] to get out of the way of its thrown Battleaxe and used [Flurry] on it. My strikes each hit its face making it more agitated than before.
Goblin Warrior
Level - 30
HP - 635/3500
In its anger, it pulled out a Warhorn and blew it. The action seemed to cause the ground to open up as 5 more goblins appeared. Each of them recklessly charged at me but I dodged and weaved out the way of each Goblin and used [Mach Punch] on the Goblin warrior causing my fist to go through its torso. It let out a death rattle as it fell dead.
Throwing an Orb at one of the Goblins that tried to jump me I killed it as it burned alive. The rest of the Goblin's met similar fates dying at one of the Teigu's special effects.

Not bad for a miniboss battle that was a bit easy. Maybe something outside lime a Danger beast could provide me with a challenge. I willed myself back to my Hub I.D and noticed that both John and Jeanne were still sleeping. They had tear tracks showing that they probably cried to sleep... I'll just leave them here while I go to the capital.
Willing myself out of the Hub I.D I appeared in the same spot that we were before. A few hours ago I would have exhausted myself running to the Capital but now? I could probably run there or use [Flash Steps] to get there. So I ran on the road of the plains probably running faster than some cars until I noticed a Carriage. It seems to be speeding up for some unknown reason.
I stopped in utter bafflement as a giant Danger beast erupted from the ground. The Danger Beast looked familiar almost like the...Earth Dragon From Episode One! I looked on in awe as the deuteragonist cut the Earth Dragon into pieces.
