The battle is over. The battle against one of the most powerful Yoma of all time. And Yuyasha finished the job by stabbing it with both of her swords and unleashing her full power. The wolf demon roared in pain and disappeared into thin air from taking so much power from that hit. Team Tohno fought valiantly against it earlier, however, after taking too many hits from it, Yuyaki had enough and called in Yasha to finish it off. And when the dust settled, it was finally over.

However, with the sound of the swords dropping and Yuyasha changing back to her old self, Yuyaki drops to the ground with a thud. It could've been exhaustion, but somehow…Ushimaru, the most chill one of Team Tohno, may see it as something else. She runs to her best friend and turns her over to see her unconscious face.

"Yu-chaaaan…!" she calls out. "Yu-chaaaan…are you okaaaay?"

"Ara, ara…is Yuyaki-san alright?" Nachi stands up to walk over toward her "little sister's" side.

"Oh, no!" Misato also stands up. "Yuyaki-san!"

"Yuyaki!" Kumi is the last to get back on her feet.

Within seconds, Yuyaki's teammates surround her. They see that their beloved leader has taken big hits, plus there is some blood on her. Ushimaru tries to shake her best friend awake.

"Yu-chaaaan…you woooooon….you woooon…!" the bovine-like girl says. "We can go hooooome. Please wake uuuuuup…!"

There is no response.

"Yuyaki-san…?" Nachi gives it a try, but the tanned girl still doesn't respond. "Yuyaki-san, can you hear me?"

Kumi and Misato embrace one another, looking at this scene before them.

"She's not waking up…" Nachi says.

"This is bad…!" Misato says. "Did she use all her power and it took away her strength!?"

"I hope not," Nachi says.

Ushimaru tries one more time to shake her best friend. "Yu-chaaaaan! Yu-chan, I beg you, please wake up!"

No response. Tears fall from the bovine-like girl's eyes as she lets go and her hands curl into fists. She grits her teeth to hold back her crying, but it's no use.

"Yu-chan…!" she sobs. She hangs her head low and starts to cry.

Nachi cups a hand to her mouth as she also sheds tears. "Yuyaki-san….no…!"

"Oh, no! Yuyaki-san…!" Misato turns and buries her head in Kumi's bosom and cries softly.

The kitsune closes her eyes, shedding her own tears as she hugs Misato tightly. Everyone starts crying shortly after. Is their beloved leader really gone? After fighting to protect them, no, to protect Tohno Village, this has to end with their beloved leader dying a hero? Without her, their team is nothing. No one can replace Yuyaki.

"Yu-ch-chaaan…" Ushimaru sobs as she leans in and hugs her best friend and then turns to hug her "big sister".

"I am so sorry…" Nachi whispers, hugging and cradling the bovine-like girl. "There is nothing we can do."

"No…" Ushimaru pulls away, her eyes filled with determination. "M-maybe…there is still hoooope…"

"What do you mean? I told you there is nothing we can do," Nachi frowns.

Ushimaru ignores her and turns to her best friend. Picking her up tenderly, she leans in and presses her lips against Yuyaki's. The rest of the team gasps at this sight. Ushimaru is kissing Yuyaki passionately. But…for what? When the orange-head pulls away, she turns to the mayor.

"Nachi-onee-chaaaaan…you do it too," she begs. "You told me once of a legendary tale, riiiiight? Where a shinobi has a hidden power to make miracles?"

"Y-yes, but…that hidden power is still a mystery. Nobody knows what kind of power that is." Nachi says. "How do you know if it's going to work or not?"

"We just HAVE to test it to see if it's true!" Ushimaru says. "Please…please if anything…we ALL should do this to save Yu-chaaaan…!"

The rest of the team look at Ushimaru as she looks at them with determination. Nachi then nods and turns to her beloved leader.

"Alright. For the sake of our leader, I will give it a try," the bluenette says. She caresses Yuyaki's cheek, leans in and kisses the tanned girl on the lips, passionately, but briefly.

She then pulls away and then turns to the kitsune and tanuki. Misato nods and volunteers to kiss Yuyaki next. And then, Kumi is last. All of them kiss Yuyaki at least two or three times, rotating after about 5 seconds of kissing their leader. When they feel that it's enough, they look at Yuyaki. And as if by magic, the tanned girl's eyes flutter open. The rest of the team gasp.

"E-everyone…?" Yuyaki whispers.

Ushimaru gasps, happy tears spilling from her eyes. "Y-Yu-chaaaaaaan…! You came baaaack! You came baaaaack!" She plunges herself against her best friend's chest.

"Oh, thank goodness…!" Nachi also sheds tears of happiness. "So that's the hidden power. It's all about…love…~!"

"Yuyaki…" Kumi says as she and Misato intertwine hands while also shedding tears of happiness.

"What….happened?" Yuyaki whispers.

Nachi quickly takes her teammate's hand in hers. "You won. The battle is over. You used your full strength to defeat the enemy. We won."

"Yes!" Misato says. "We're all safe because of you. You did it, Yuyaki-san!"

"Thank…goodness…" The shy tanned girl sighs in relief and gives a weak smile, looking down at the crying bovine-like girl. "My team is safe. Everyone…is safe…that's all that matters…"

The rest of the team lets out tears of joy and give a group hug.

"We love you, Yuyaki/-san!" they say in unison.

The battle has won. Everyone is safe, indeed. And all Yuyaki can do is give a smile to all her teammates.
