Was recently PM'd, and decided to release this short chapter to show that NO, this story ISNT DEAD. I'm just taking my time with it. It's got a lot of you riding on it, and I would definitely prefer to make sure I like It rather than just throwing chapters out to fill the word count.
I hope you enjoy!

Time was quick, the moments of realization and confusion near completely cemented in Naruto's memory at seeing Percy repeatedly walk, sink, swim, was a sight to behold. He was making progess, honest progress, but part of it was his concentration. Percy had explained in greater detail what ADHD was, and Naruto felt that the…idiot to idiot explanation was a lot easier to understand.
He was glad he didn't have it.
The sun was setting, and it was time to return to the cabins. Naruto allowed Percy to take advantage of his teleporting ability to squeeze in a few more attempts.
His last let him walk 4 steps, something impressive considering he was just starting not a few hours prior.
"Man, its like walking on something really fragile." He complained weakly, his mind running to tr y and figure out how to combat his own ADHD, and Naruto laughed, "Have you tried music? You've mentioned that its more like a combat sense than another voice in your head. Maybe reciting lyrics while walking?"
"I don't want to have to rap while running on water."
"Why not? You could the new "Gangsta Jesus"." Naruto said with a loud gut laugh, "Ha! Imagine that!"
Percy tried to splash some water on him, but the nimble blond just span to walk the other way, just barely dodging the splash with only inches to spare.
"C'mon, out of the water, it's time to head back."
"Yea yea." Percy said with a sigh, his powers aiding his arrival as it bore him forward like an invisible chariot. He slid onto the bank, before walking under his own power to Naruto's side, "Is there anyway I could walk on walls too?"
Naruto shook his head, "I doubt it, fighting gravity like that is a little different."
Percy nodded his head in disappointment, "Yeah, I figured…would be cool though."
"Haaaa, not really, you'd be surprised how…impractical it can really be. There is almost no real need for it."
"I watched you run up and down a cliff side to save Annabeth." Percy said flatly, and Naruto just snorted, "And since I've been here, have you seen it provide any more utility?"
"It saved her." He said stubbornly, and Naruto rolled his eyes before nodding, "Yeah yeah, hold onto your stomach."
Percy couldn't even mutter out a reply as suddenly he was yanked, landing on his knees infront of his cabin.
"That sucks." He said with a grunt as his head swam, and Naruto just chuckled, "Yeah, well…I'd say you'll get used to it, but I'm not a taxi service."
Percy nodded his head, opening the door and waving him goodnight. Naruto mirrored his gesture, before walking off into the night. The monsters around the cabin appeared to enforce curfew, but didn't so much as touch him…they knew they were no match.
Naruto walked all the way up to Peleus, choosing to enjoy the stroll before settling down by the dragon under the tree. The dragon simply huffed, circling the tree tighter as it welcomed Naruto into its embrace. Naruto rested against the dragons warm scales, and stared up at the fleece in brief remembrance.
It was thanks to it that he found this place…and also its fault.
'I wonder what would have happened if I chose to ignore its signal.' Naruto pondered, 'Think any of this would have changed Kurama?'
"Probably not." The fox replied, "This world has a rather firm system of fate…you've been involved in at least two prophecies so far…and each has come true in their own right. I wouldn't be surprised if another one announced itself tomorrow…it was too convenient to be summoned back here as that Sea Brat made his return as well."
Naruto frowned at that thought, 'Well…considering everything has happened…I wouldn't be surprised either. Neji…would have hated this place."
"I remember you punching his face in at the Chunin Exams." The fox replied, taking a trip down memory lane himself. Naruto laughed dryly, 'yeah, really surprised him with that one there…'
Naruto swallowed, before turning over. He knew he had to wait. He knew he couldn't become Kakashi, spending hours infront of a stone…but he missed them.
He couldn't even visit their stones in this place…making them would prove no point.
He let out a slow breath, and rolled over again, thinking.
And again…and again.
"The idea of trying to sleep is to stop moving so much." Kurama said dryly, he himself relaxing in his seal.
'Now im wondering what the next prophecy is going to be about. I fought a titan last time to rescue a goddess…what could possibly be next?'
"A date with Aphrodite?"
Naruto visibly shivered, and Kurama let out a hoarse hmph, "I will never understand your tastes in females."
'Lets not talk about this now Kurama.'
"Your first crush, The Uchiha." Kurama said with an evil smirk
'HE WAS NOT!'
"Was he your second? Ah, right, it was that blasted pink Banshee, that Haru-whatever brat."
Naruto tried plugging his ears physically in a failed attempt to get Kurama to shut up. "She berated you near daily, with several cases of head trauma and near fatal interest in your true love, that Uchiha spawn who you gave your arm to."
'Please stop.' Naruto tried to say nicely, trying to just halt the conversation.
"And yet here you are, in a world where your past has no merit or meaning in the romantic world, with women all around, spirits, demigods, goddesses, all of which have at least one who wouldn't turn down your affection…and yet you hide."
Naruto stopped, remaining silent as if to pretend he was asleep.
"I'm in your mind brat, I know when you're sleeping."
Naruto sighed. '…what's the point. I won't be here long.'
"You don't know that."
'Nobody from here would survive in my world.'
"Who said you had to take them along?"
'…Who said I had to look for a partner in a world I know I wont be here long for?'
"Who said you won't be here for some time?"
'The Great Prophecy…or whatever. Percy won't be turning sixteen until a year and some from now…he's fourteen now right?'
"So you have more than a year to enjoy someone…or more than one someone, it hardly matters."
'If it doesn't matter, then it shouldn't matter if that number is ten, one, or zero.'
"So your strategy is to mope by yourself for the next year? How pathetic." Kurama humphed.
Naruto remained silent for a moment, before he curled up, and stopped moving, 'Yeah…maybe it is.'
"Brat."
'furball.'
"Runt."
'hairball.'
They slung insults at each other, until Naruto's reply never came back. Kurama sat in silence for a moment, before he rested his head on his forelegs, closing his eyes in thought. He was…concerned. The system of "fate" that this world lived on was quite troublesome…Thalia was a child of this so called "Big Three", but upon some clever maneuvering, the prophecy was avoided.
Avoided.
It was still effective, however no longer applying to her…instead, to Percy, whom his host had recently begun to aid in training.
The Prophecy itself apparently couldn't be dissolved…only through its actualization would it come to pass.
In theory, they could avoid it forever, negotiating each event to prevent its occurrence.
Or, it simply wasn't meant to be her, and Percy was the apparent destiny child…but what if it wasn't Percy?
'That would mean that Naruto could be spending much…much more time here.' The two brats he saved last winter…the Huntress and her younger brother, they were most likely children of the God of the Underworld…someone who was both an ally and an enemy in Naruto's goal of returning home. Nico was still a young child, several years from turning sixteen.
This world…left much to be desired…how infuriating.
Kurama pondered it, before crossing two of his tails in idle faith of superstition, 'Let's hope it's that Sea Brat…the sooner, the better.'
