Author's note: I would just like to once more, just for good measure, point out that I have a new story on this site, and I would really like you to check it out. Now I know that you might simply not understand it, but even so I would still like it if you took a quick look and told me what you think. I would really appreciate it. Sorry, and enjoy the chapter.

Disclaimer: I do not own either RWBY or Star Wars

It had all been going smoothly. That is, until a certain voice rang out across the rooftops.

"You know Wayle, I've been thinking… this really seems the perfect time to get in your way." It was feminine, cold and cruel. There was only one person it could belong to… And Wayle really didn't want to have to deal with her.

Had he had a better position he might have stopped her, but as it was he was too far away, and even if he saw her coming, he was still too late as she smashed down upon the roof, scattering everyone near her.

Ruby tried to do something, but all she was met with was a painful rib-cracking elbow strike that sent her flying. Yang desperately raced after her, managing to catch her before she hit something.

The next person to be hit was Blake, a brutal strike that knocked her down as a lightsaber ignited, rising to cut her.

Instead, it was swiftly brought to the side to block a powerful torrent of electricity that pushed its wielder back several metres.

"AMARA!" He shouted furiously.

Said person simply smiled as a psychotic glint entered her eyes. Her response was to send her own Lightning at the downed Faunus.

Wayle didn't let it hit, appearing in front of his beloved, hand raised to receive it.

Blake's eyes widened in shock and her mouth opened to shout, but she was silenced as the electricity was stopped by his hand. There it seemed to pool together into a ball of energy that grew as it continued to flow into his hand that was slowly being pushed back, his face contorting in effort.

Then Amara stopped the flow and looked at the result with the sort of expression one has when suddenly remembering an important detail.

"Tutaminis…" She whispered, but any further words where cut off as Wayle unleashed another torrent of electricity, this one stronger than the last.

Amara tried to block it, but the immense force behind it sent her flying anyways, and she impacted into another, more distant roof.

Wayle turned to regard Blake, noting with mild annoyance that Cinder and her lackeys had disappeared in the confusion of Amara's betrayal. He dismissed it and focused his attention on Blake, who was laying there clutching her side painfully.

"Wayle…" She said meekly, her breath ragged and pain clear in her facial expression.

"Blake, I am sorry…" Wayle said sadly, stroking her cheek tenderly.

"Don't be, you couldn't have anticipated all this…" Blake continued reassuringly, her voice growing weaker.

"I should have." He said as her eyes drooped, her consciousness fading.

He turned as he rose, his face set in a mask of cold fury, gaze locked upon the person responsible.

They moved at the same time, meeting a slight bit further from Wayle than halfway, metal blade coated with the force meeting the humming energy blade, sending sparks flying.

Wayle lashed out, knocking his opponent away from him, immediately following up with Lightning.

Amara rolled and leapt away from the torrent of electricity, immediately dashing in again with a mad grin on her face as she evaded debris sent by Wayle after she had avoided his Lightning. Her Lightsaber swung, aimed at his neck, and he parried it. She swung again, and again, her Lightsaber turning into a red blur as it whirled around, Wayle's swords even less distinct as it blurred about.

A sudden burst of power forced Amara back, but there was no respite, as even as she hit the ground, a massive chunk of the nearby buildings came flying at her. She jumped away from it towards him, but was almost hit by another that she just barely managed to evade by pushing the two chunks slightly off course.

In all of this Wayle hadn't moved an inch.

She leapt over them even as they were smashed together by Wayle and once again she approached him. Suddenly she leapt aside for no apparent reason, continuing her rush while leaping from side to side constantly, as if dodging some unseen attacks.

As suddenly as she had started leaping from side to side she stopped her charge and leapt back quite a fair bit. Any wonder about why was stilled as her previous position was turned into a crater by an unseen force.

With an immense burst of speed Amara closed the gap, her Lightsaber impacting on Wayle's sword, forcing it out of his hand. With god-speed her Lightsaber was levelled with his chest, shooting forth to stab into his chest…

And yet it was stopped, to the complete surprise to the onlookers, by Wayle's hand, the energy somehow being disrupted in his palm.

Amara quickly deactivated the weapon and leapt back, narrowly evading the blade of crimson energy that was swung at her in retaliation.

Amara's grin widened as she reactivated her Lightsaber, her stance changing as she brought her Lightsaber up vertically before her centre and then down in a quick slash in a gesture akin to a salute.

Opposite her Wayle's face was the same as before, a mask of cold and calculating fury.

And the combatants surged forth again…

-Break—

When Amara had hurt Ruby Yang had been just about ready to beat the living shit out of her. That was until she hurt Blake, enraging Wayle.

The sensation in that moment… The power that Wayle had radiated… It had frozen her in her tracks.

Back when Wayle and Amara had first sparred she thought she had felt the worst that was possible from him. It didn't affect her much, but it did unnerve her slightly.

Then Wayle had unleashed that unimaginable power. Then Yang thought that that was the worst possible, as it had stopped her temporarily.

But this… this froze her up completely. It was on another level altogether, nothing, not even the greatest Grimm or the fear of death compared to this. She actually wondered, if this was how she felt, then how did it feel for them?

Wayle had after all said that Force Sensitives and users perceived the world around them differently… And if she, who he had in no uncertain terms stated was not Force Sensitive felt like this around the powerful Dark Force user, then what about those that actually sensed the Force?

Then again, Wayle did also say that the people of Remnant were different because of their Aura. So maybe that had something to do with it?

She shook her head, thinking wasn't quite her strong point after all, and instead chose to make sure the others were safe.

She held Ruby in her arms, Blake was being taken care off by Nora and Ren, Glynda was looking like she was about to piss herself a bit further away… Wait…

She actually had to double check to make sure she wasn't mistaken, because Glynda Goodwitch standing there looking like she was about to piss herself was so wrong on so many levels.

And yet so it was. Yang supposed she had always seemed a bit guarded, a bit afraid, around Wayle, and maybe Wayle's power had caused it? Argh! She was thinking again! And it didn't work!

What was even going on!

-Break—

Two red colours clashed in a whirl, one darker than the other. Ironically, it was the nicer person wielding the darker coloured Lightsaber.

Of course, right now one would be forgiven for not realising this, as the two combatants tore apart the scenery around them, leaping across the rooftops, hopping between the walls, clashing violently, sometimes sending bolts of Lightning or pieces of the surroundings at each other.

Wayle spun to deflect Amara's Lightsaber before catching her next swing with his hand, swinging his own in retaliation. In response she deactivated and reactivated hers in quick succession, succeeding in parrying his strike.

He leapt backwards to avoid another strike while sending forth a burst of Lightning to prevent her from immediately closing in again. Having gained some distance he chucked a convenient crashed aircraft at her, one which she immediately jumped out of the way of.

She laughed manically. "YES! This is what I have sought!" She exclaimed, her face contorted into a look of madness, with a disconcerting hint of pleasure.

He didn't respond. Instead Amara dodged as her position was blasted by an unseen explosion, making a beeline for him. He sent out a great wave of force, tearing apart everything between them as it rushed towards her.

She tried to throw herself out of the way, but was caught in the edge and sent flying, impacting the wall of a tall building, she crashed through it in a cloud of dust.

She quickly leapt out through one of the windows as the entire building started shaking wildly and breaking apart into a big pile.

As she landed on a nearby street he lifted up the rubble of the building with great effort and threw it, the massive debris tearing apart the street and the nearby buildings.

She ran as quickly as she could, finally leaping up on a nearby rooftop to evade the last moments of the debris' crash. She had no more than set foot upon the roof when Lightning tried to strike at her position.

Her eyes widened in realisation as she stared at her opponents position, great amounts of power being channelled through him, causing Lightning to strike from the clear sky even as more blasts of unseen force started occurring at her positions.

She rushed towards him as destruction rained at her, and as she came closer one great wave of electricity was unleashed, impacting against an unseen shield that she put up against it.

When the great wave had settled, she looked towards her opponent, only to find that he was not there anymore. Once more her eyes widened, and she immediately spun around, her Lightsaber flashing in a great arc before being stopped by the sudden appearance of another.

Unnatural shadows dispersed to reveal him, having made his way around her while she was distracted. A brief but fierce exchange occurred, Lightsabers being swung in wide arcs, blurring their actual positions to all onlookers.

Suddenly she swung around, blocking a crimson Lightsaber from behind before her eyes widened and she unleashed a shockwave of power around her. Her eyes widened as he appeared before her, the two attackers now to her sides disappearing in her shockwave.

She parried the sudden attack from her front, spinning around to deliver a counter slash that was parried in return. His hand shot forth, attempting to grab a hold of her even as their Lightsabers were looked together in a fierce struggle.

She jumped back, gaining some distance. Then she stopped, eyes wide in realisation as her head whipped around. There he was, not ahead or to the sides, but behind her, gathering power around him in a crackling sphere.

He had used illusions, a skill that it had slipped her mind he possessed. It was so long since she last saw him use Sorcery that she had actually forgotten some of those powers he used less.

Even as this thought crossed her mind she started running. It was too late to stop him now, instead, she would be better served running for it.

Even as she started running the sphere intensified before it was unleashed in a massive omnidirectional wave of destruction, tearing apart the nearby buildings.

She stopped running when she realised she wouldn't be able to get away and threw up a Barrier. The great wave of destruction impacted it and it took all her strength to hold her ground as everything around her crumbled.

As the wave of power abated an area that was less damaged than the rest was revealed, an exhausted Amara lying in the rubble.

Wayle approached slowly, levitating over the rubble he had left behind. A weak chuckle escaped her lips as she tried to get up again, but she failed as she was lifted up by an unseen force.

His feet touched the ground of the less damaged area she had preserved in her attempt to survive. She looked at him as he stalked towards her. Never before had he seemed more like a Sith Lord, and she never doubted that he might one day become one.

Then a crimson blade of energy pierced through her chest, and faintly she heard the words: "Goodbye, Amara."

She smiled weakly as her vision turned black and sleep overtook her…

Author's notes: And that was... I honestly don't know what to think. Was it good? Please tell me in a review, and do feel free to leave suggestions. Your opinions are welcomed and will be respected, although that doesn't mean I will agree with them. Even so I want to hear them, so don't be shy. After all, this is the internet, and that means that it is really difficult to know who you really are. Especially when you live on the other side of the planet.

But yeah, I hope you enjoyed and that you have a nice day.
