They stumbled slightly as they picked their way through the rubble of what had once been one of Vale's most prosperous avenues. Now it was little more than a ruined crater filled with the remnants of once fine architecture.
Nora was uncharacteristically quiet as she moved towards the small fragment of untouched street that jutted out of the otherwise completely circular crater, while Ren silently surveyed the area. Glynda had equal amounts of annoyance and dismay etched on her beautiful visage as she traversed the crater with practiced ease.
They had known that Wayle could cause collateral damage. They had seen it, Glynda had even experienced it first-hand.
Yet nothing had been able to prepare them for what was equivalent to a tactical weapon having been unleashed on the area. Wayle and Amara's fight had caused large amounts of damage, leaving little but a trail of ruined devastation where they had fought, yet it was Wayle's final attack that had done more than anything else.
To say that he seemed to have forgotten about minimising collateral damage would have been an understatement. They had seen the fury on his face, and, to varying degrees, felt it roll off him with that power of his.
Never before had anything like that been felt on Remnant, and now all prayed that it would never happen again. Well, some saw where that kind of power could be brought to bear in the eternal conflict against the Grimm, but they were in the minority.
As they finally managed to scale the edge of the protrusion they were met with Wayle standing there, silently regarding the now seemingly peaceful form of Amara. Only in death had her natural beauty been allowed to become apparent, before that it had been subverted by the cruelty and indifference that was always present on her features.
-Break—
Nora had always been curious about those Sith Lords that Wayle had been talking about, but now, she didn't want to anymore. While it had calmed down considerably, the terrifying aura of power that surrounded Wayle right now was a considerable deterrent. Another was the sheer darkness that showed through his now golden eyes.
Yeah, no, she was just fine with not having to deal with someone who was always like that. It was bad enough right now, and it had been worse during the most heated moments.
She made a mental note not to piss Wayle off if she could help it. Luckily he seemed like few things actually could make him angry in the first place, so as long as she avoided directly antagonising him she should be okay… she hoped.
"How is Blake and Ruby?" The words came from Wayle's lips slightly harsher than usual.
For some reason she really wasn't surprised by his first question.
"They'll be fine, Yang's taking care of them for now." Ren calmly replied. She couldn't help but be a bit envious of his ability to remain calm even in situations like this.
But she supposed that was part of his appeal…
-Break—
After Wayle had confirmed that both Ruby and Blake would be alright, he had retrieved Gram. The weapon was thankfully whole, although it might be in need of some maintenance. Some might say it was odd that he was so insistent on using it instead of Gram, but quite frankly he had never really liked his Lightsaber.
Sure it was an incredibly powerful weapon, and most certainly the crystal inside it channelled the Force superbly well, but even so he didn't like it. It was a symbol of what he had become, the deep crimson red standing in stark contrast with the original blue one had had built on Tython so many years ago now that he could barely remember, much of that time lost in the subsequent years where he became a Sith under the apprenticeship to Darth Melaion…
He quickly quelled the surge of anger. Right now might not be the best of times to think of the past, not with his passions running high due to using the Dark Side so extensively.
That was one of the reasons he had distanced himself from the others. He wasn't about to spend time around the abnormal number of beautiful females in this state. He already knew the most likely outcome to that…
Yup, better to let himself cool down.
Now that he thought about it, he hoped Latune and Weiss were okay… Apparently they had gotten themselves in deep trouble.
He took a few deep breaths. Time to go check up on some people…
-Break—
As it turned out Weiss had been deposited in the same room as Ruby, while Latune was already back up and running. He was also informed that Cardin was fine, although Wayle doubted that.
After all, Drain was amongst the most cruel techniques he could imagine…
He also managed to verify that team CFVY was safe. Although that seemed to have been unneeded, as they showed no signs of injury, or even having been pushed.
General Ironwood had been fine, although he was incredibly miffed about the whole ordeal, with good reason, he had lost a lot of resources, had failed in keeping security and he had been betrayed by Amara as well, something that the man had been quick to point out when he encountered him.
Ozpin seemed very troubled, moving about to help wherever he could. Wayle could understand why, the man had been forced to watch his beloved students go into battle to fight for the city, and Ozpin struck Wayle as someone who cared a lot about his students.
Not to even mention that the mastermind had been at his school for an extended period of time…
Yeah, that stings. Wayle had some experience with something similar… from the other side that was.
He had been immensely relived to find that Blake had recovered and woken up, and had immediately rushed to the room she had been interred in.
As he saw her he had immediately embraced her, not even letting her say any words.
"Blake… I am so glad you are alright. If something had happened to you…" He said, worry and relief mixing in his soft voice.
She seemed slightly taken aback, but soon decided to return his embrace.
"I heard what happened… Wayle, I don't know whatever to happy or scared that you reacted that way…" She whispered.
He released her to look at her face. It carried a mixture of uncertainty and fear as her eyes wavered from his gaze.
He embraced her again. "I am sorry, I couldn't help it. I couldn't bear losing someone dear to me." His voice was filled with regret.
He could feel her relaxing slightly, pressing in towards him gently. The scent of her hair filled his nose with an intoxicating smell. It was tainted with the smell of sweat and battle, yet Wayle didn't mind, after all, it was Blake's smell…
"It's fine… I already know that you are a gentle person deep inside-"Blake's tender words were cut off as his lips sealed her mouth.
She stiffened at the suddenness and fierceness of the kiss, but instead of pushing him away she relaxed and returned it.
After what had felt like an eternity they broke away, leaving Blake somewhat dazed while Wayle looked embarrassed.
"Sorry Blake, but after all that has happened… I thought I had supressed it, but…" He trailed off ashamedly.
She shock herself awake and looked at him questioningly.
"It is just that… The Dark Side is fuelled by passion, and after using it like this…" He sighed. "My self-control weakens greatly…"
"I see…" She said softly. "I don't think I mind though…" Her hands rose to caress his cheeks as she brought her lips closer to his again.
Her lips met the shocked youth's, first gently, then slowly becoming more passionate as he returned it.
He allowed himself to get caught up in the passion, if only slightly.
And so they lost themselves in each other…
-Break—
Ruby slowly regained consciousness as she sensed someone's presence over her. Cracking her eyes open she glimpsed white.
Wait… white?
She opened her eyes properly, realising that Weiss was looking down at her oddly.
"Weiss?" She questioned the normally cold girl.
"Ruby… so adorable…" Weiss responded with an uncharacteristic giggle.
This only served to add to Ruby's confusion. What was going on?
"I can't take it anymore…" Weiss mumbled, Ruby only barely hearing her words.
"Wha-"Ruby started to ask confusedly, but was interrupted by the last thing she expected.
Weiss' lips meeting her own.
The young girl could only make incoherent noises as a tongue snaked its way into her mouth, ensnaring her own, causing a deep blush to settle on her face.
As her mouth was finally freed Ruby could only dazedly gasp for air.
"Weiss, what are you doing…?" She weakly croaked out.
She got no reply, although she felt a hand start slowly crawling up her thigh. Her blush deepened even more, resembling her beloved scythe.
Before her thought processes could reboot she found herself stripped of her skirt, Weiss having moved on top of her, one hand continuing its sensual movement along her inner thigh while her lips were once again sealed by a kiss.
Ruby couldn't wrap her head around the current situation. She wasn't entirely unaware of things like this, but she thought it was supposed to be between boys and girls, not between two girls… right?
She felt oddly exited though, her struggling losing strength as her body heated up and her thought processes were ground to a halt.
The front of her bodice was opened as a hand started sneaking in under her blouse, eliciting a low moan from the red girl.
She squirmed uncontrollably as her body was wracked by unknown pleasure, the innocent and chaste girl unable to handle the raging fire that had been ignited.
So something snapped, and the young rose suddenly moved in response, her mouth hungrily enveloping Weiss' as her own hand undid the others dress, gaining access to her bosom.
The sound Weiss made as Ruby started caressing her breasts could only be described as lewd, the two of them descending into a haze of passion. Their limbs entangling as they pressed together, hungrily seeking more.
It was then that Yang walked in.
-Break—
Yang was, to say the least, stunned. So much crazy shit had happened today that she thought it couldn't get worse.
The first inclination that she was wrong had been when she had walked in on Wayle and Blake in the middle of making-out. That had been fine, it wasn't all that weird for lovers to do, and they weren't doing anything… more lewd.
But then she walked in on something that made all thoughts stop. Her sister, half-naked, doing lewd things with Weiss.
She had entertained the thought, being who she was, and she did feel that she should be able to entrust Weiss with her sister…
She hadn't expected anything to ever happen though, much less that. It just didn't seem like Ruby would ever get it, while Weiss seemed hesitant to act on her feelings.
Actually, how did those develop? She was certain Weiss had a crush on Wayle, although… After the whole trust issue fiasco it seemed she let Wayle go, only compounded by Wayle choosing Blake. And Ruby had shown a lot of care for her partner at times…
She shook her head to return it to the matter at hand.
At least they had stopped when they realised she was there, and were now staring at her embarrassedly.
So Yang decided to voice her thoughts.
"What. The. Actual. FUCK?!"
Author's notes: What did I just write? Why did I decide that this was a good idea? Oh well, I hope that you liked it. Do tell in a review as it is incredibly helpful. Kind of... Well, it does help, as having none at all is generally sure to leave me unable to motivate myself for even longer periods of time...
Oh, yeah. I was wondering, do you think that Wayle is a believable character? It is something I feel that no one has addressed in a review yet, even if I personally feel that it is quite important.
I hope you enjoyed and that you have a nice day.
