Chapter 1- Curiosity killed the...Bug?
"Okay, So, a Miraculous can change it's jewel form so that past holders won't recognize it", Marinette asked as she completed her guardian lessons with Tikki.
"Yes" Marinette's Kwami replied.
"Wait, But in the guardian spell book, my earrings are still on the past miraculous holder, so therefore my miraculous didn't change.
"That's because your miraculous was last used thousands of years ago, so in reality the only one who knows it's form would be the person living thousands of years ago...do you get it?" Tikki said.
"Oh, so it only changes if the last miraculous holder lived in that time?...Right?"
"Correct, but it only stays the same if old...or if the holder, well passes".
"How does the miraculous know if one passes Tikki?"
"Well, you see after you put the miraculous on...you made a connection with the miraculous. By that meaning, you are now it's holder and controller, it knows and now you are connected to it...then when you die, the miraculous has lost connection." Tikki said.
Marinette nodedd her head as they furthermore went through the spell book.
1 hour later
Well, that was a good lesson Tikki, though I do wish master Fu was here to teach me it", Marrinette said as she closed the guardian book.
"Yes, I miss him", Tikki said as she landed on Marinette's lap with a sad look on her face.
Marinette let out a sigh before turning her head to the side. A note was sticking out of the Guardian book. An old paper it seemed. Out of curiosity, Marinette reached forward pulling the paper out of the book. Tikki looked at her quizzically before gasping in surprise at what was written on the front of the letter. It looked like Some sort of Mandarin coding, old very old with crumpled bits from the folding that even let permanent marks on the paper.
"W-What is this?" Marinette asked.
"It's, how- I don't understand...I thought that this was lost for thousands of years it was destroyed."
"What is it Tikki?" Marinette said with worry.
"It's an old guardian Kwami spell", Tikki said grabbing the paper.
"Kwami spell?" Marinette asked
"Yes", Tikki said turning around to look at her holder, "To make us human".
Marinette looked at her with shock before a smile grew on Tikki face.
"Do you realize what this means?!" Tikki said with excitement.
"W-What?" Marinette said.
"I can finally be human!" Tikki said
"But, How will I be able to transform if your a human?" Marinette asked.
"Oh, my first master was able to transfer us from miraculously human. I'll be fine".
"So you want me to, do this?"
"Yes, please...for me", Tikki said.
"Okay...good thing I know mandarin now" Marinette said with a nervous chuckle. She took a deep breath before saying the words on the paper.
"Plagg, should I just go for someone else, or, I don't want to...I mean I love ladybug but she doesn't love me and I feel like I'm wasting my time", Adrien said with his head on his pillow.
"Go for Camembert, it's a lot more tastier than any other girl", Plagg Said.
"PLAGG!" Adrien said in embarrassment.
"What? I'm just saying"
"Can for once, can you just give me some good advice?"
"Okay, I'm not very good in that department kiddo...that's more of tikki's thing, but whatever. So, you like ladybug...but she doesn't love you. It's wasting your time so you don't know what to do...correct?"
"Yes..."
"Ok, then go for someone else like that grumpy girl, what's her name?"
"Kagami", Adrien said
"Yes..her", Plagg said, then gulped a large piece of Camembert.
"Yeah, but she's just...she's a great friend but she thinks I'm perfect and that we were meant to be and...I just don't know if she loves me for me..."
"Wow, your complicated, fine then go for what's her name?..,.Pigtails?"
"Marinette?"
"Yes that's her name...the one that..."
"Convinced my Father to let me go to New York...yeah.." Adrien said lifting his head to look at the picture of him and Marinette laughing at the ice cream coming out of her nose. The scene played in his head as he smile to himself.
"Ooh you got Blackberry Cherry...lucky! Marinette said
"Yep...it's pretty good...it kinda makes me jump for joy...I hope that doesn't sound weird"Adrien replied
"Please, you should see me alone sometimes...I'm the weird one" Marinette said
"Well then,maybe I should" Adrien said as he got closer to Marinette's face, causing her to blush. His chat noir was showing and just as he was about to back away, Marinette spluttered the ice cream out of her nose.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" She said
Adrien stood quiet until he burst out laughing tears streaming down his face laughter. Marinette later joined him he felt a sense of butterflies before pushing them away.
They stood laughing and looking at each-other until Marinette broke the end silence by playfully shoving him and continuing to chuckle.
Adrien was in a trance before slapping himself back into reality.
"Ooh you've got it baaaaad", Plagg said with a smirk.
"No, I don't...by the way Marrinette is just a friend and she loves luka...remember?"
"Yeah...keep telling yourself that", Plagg said. The Kwami shook his head until he suddenly felt himself getting nauseous, " I feel like throwing up", he said
"Finally, that Camembert must be getting rid of that stomach of yours", Adrien said sitting up from his bed.
"No..I don't think that's it", Plagg said and in an instant he fell to the ground and a bright green light twirled around him, illuminating his whole room.
"PLAGG?!" Adrien yelled
Marinette chanted the words and in a flash Tikki Fell to the ground, a bright red light circling around the Kwami.
"TIKKI?!" Marinette yelled.
