Plagg smiled brightly after just waking up from his bed. It was morning, the alarm was ringing, he was in a house other than his holders with one room being his and the other room being Tikki's. Now, he wasn't going to lie, having the power of creation had its perks. Tikki, only had to hum a certain tune and her hands began to glow. Her eyebrows moved as she tried to picture what she wanted to create, and right there, stood a moderate home. Marrinette had agreed that it would be safer for a Tikki to be somewhere else, but once their was an akuma attack, they set up a hiding spot for her to transform. Same with Adrien, except Marrinette had no idea that Plagg was even human, way to hide an identity right?
Plagg arose from his bed, turned the alarm off and headed to the kitchen to smell something marvelous from the kitchen.
"What's that wonderful smell?" He said upon seeing Tikki with a frying pan in one hand and a spatula in the other.
"Pancakes!" Tikki said excitedly.
Plagg smiled brightly, before running to the finding table, to start stacking his pancakes high. He stuffed his mouth full of them before Tikki turned around to see him. Which he had been caught. Tikki let out a giggle seeing Plagg with food stuffed in his mouth, obviously looking like a chipmunk collecting nuts.
"Plagg, chew your food...and don't talk with your mouth full like that", she said with a smirk.
"Awww come on sugarcube, I can't honestly not stuff my mouth full of this amazing breakfast", he said. Tikki retaliated at the nickname before turning around to continue flipping pancakes.
"I told you to not call me that", she said with a whisper. Plagg awkwardly wiped his mouth off before stepping out of the chair to put his dish into the sink.
"Right...sorry", he said before darting into his room to change for school. Tikki had a feeling of regret, knowing fully that plagg didn't mean to get her mad or sad with the nickname. Sure, it hit a soft spot in her heart, but that was due for personal reasons. Plagg then, emerged from his room with a plain white shirt on, with black jeans and green shoes. He covered himself with a jacket, knowing it was going to be chilly that day, the outfit making him look handsome in every way. Tikki turned her head away from him as she continued to clean the kitchen, leaving an awkward vibe filling the house. As soon as they finished cleaning, Tikki got dressed, putting a pink crop top, slightly above her bellybutton, with overalls covering it and,pink converse. Plagg seemed to have blushed but she wasn't sure if he really was. They silently darted out of the house as they walked to school, both of them wanting to speak to the other.
"Look, I didn't mean to say that nickname Tikki, I wasn't thinking and I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings" Plagg said with his head down, ashamed. Tikki smiled fully knowing that if Plagg had ears, they would be down in sadness.
"I know Plagg, it's okay. I know you didn't mean it but, I do believe we should be calling each other our civilian names for sake", Tikki said.
"Sure thing Tina" Plagg Said nudging her with a smirk.
"Okay then, Peter", Tikki said nudging him as-well. They both continued to laugh the way over until stopping in front of the school.
"Are you ready?" Plagg asked.
"Yep, find your holder, and then blend in. I already signed us up last night so that we'd be in Miss Bustier's class, if anyone asks if your related to me, say no and that we are just students from America...got it?" She asked.
"Got it", plagg agreed.
"Okay, then let's go", she said as they both made their way towards the school steps.
"You know, Prince Ali didn't want to make our relationship local, wich is why he broke up with me, he was ashamed of us." Lila said a she let crocodile tears out of her eyes. 4 people surrounding her already knowing that everything about Lila was false...maybe even her name. But, a certain Agreste suggested to take the high road, making it hard to defend yourself. Plagg thought it was absurd,but he knew Adrien would see the truth someday.
"Wow, She is one heck of a liar", Tikki said as she sat next to Marrinette during lunch.
"Yeah, no kidding", Marrinette said frustratingly.
"Don't let her get under your skin Mari, that's all that she wants", Tikki said
"Your right, thanks Tik-I mean thanks Tina", Marrinette said. Suddenly Adrien emerged from the line with Plagg by his side.
"Hey Marrinette, And umm what's your name?" Adrien asked Tikki.
"Oh the names Tina", Tikki said reaching her hand out for Adrien to shake.
"Nice to meet you Tina, do you mind if me and my friend Peter sit next to you guys?", Adrien asked.
"Sure!" Tikki said, as her holder just stood quiet, not wanting to say anything embarrassing.
Plagg gave Tikki a wink before sitting down which made Tikki roll her eyes. Typical plagg... she thought.They chatted as they ate, with Marrinette giving peculiar glances to Plagg. He seemed familiar but she just couldn't put her finger on it.
"How are you doing Mari?" Adrien asked.
"Oh.....umm well I'm doing okay, just trying to get through high school you know?" Marrinette said.
"Yeah, I get it. Maybe we should hang out sometime soon,you know...to take our minds off of the chaos". Adrien said. Plagg looked at Tikki, raising an eyebrow which Tikki had already guessed his question.
Did Adrien just ask Marinette out?
"That sounds great!, You should bring your girlfriend...maybe she'll enjoy it too!" Marrinette said nonchalantly. Tikki and Plagg dropped their forks in surprise with wide eyes, Was Marrinette trying to be friend zoned right now?
"Girlfriend?" Adrien asked.
"Yeah...you know...Kagami?" Marinette said as if it was obvious. Adrien sat back in his seat, obviously uncomfortable at the sound of his 'girlfriends' name.
"Umm Yeah, were not dating", Adrien said.
"Ohhh, I'm sorry if I-"
"No, no it's fine Marrinette, I'm just trying to find the ropes around the situation, you didn't know-"
"No, I shouldn't have asked, I'm stupid..." Marinette,said looking at her plate. Adrien reached out his hand to touch Marriente's and gave her a reassuring smile. Plagg And Tikki darted their eyes to the hands, and back to each-other. Holy crap he touched her hand! Tikki thought, while Plagg thought This idiot isn't helping himself!
"It's ok, and your not stupid Mari, it's fine, I promise," Adrien said. Marrinette blushed before mouthing a thank you and continuing to eat her food. Marinette swallowed the last of her food before hearing a loud thump hitting the lunch table. All 4 of them looked up to see Alya with her hand on the table, with Lila on the side.
"Marinette, we need to talk", she said fiercely. Marrinette felt panic rise up in her chest before Tikki sat up in defense.
"I'm sorry Alya...that's your name right? Well Marrinette is eating right now and lunch is about to end, your gonna have to wait till after school, k?" Tikki said cooly.
"That food looks finished to me..." Alya said.
"Oh, believe me it isn't", Tikki said back. Alya and Tikki stared at each-other with anger before the wicked witch of the west cut the silence.
"Marinette, I just want to know why you hurt me earlier, I'm just so frustrated at the fact that we can't be friends!" Lila said.
"I never hurt you!" Marinette said.
"I don't think Marinette's capable of even doing that, no offense Mari" Adrien said standing up.
"I have proof", Lila said with a hidden smirk. Marinette started screaming internally as Lila pulled out her phone. And there, stood a picture of herself, hitting Lila. It was fake her mind told her, It's now a reality her mind Screamed, fake...Fake...fake...fake...the only thing Marrinette remembered after that was a screaming Tikki and a worried Adrien trying to hold her up, and then ...Black
