Yakuza Wars Crossover Arc
Chapter 1: Across the Outrealms

Narrator: Akira was relaxing on the top of the Shirogane dojo. Akihiko walked by the dojo and saw Akira sitting on the roof.

Akihiko: So, I guess you found a good spot to relax, huh?

Akira: Yeah. Good breeze, the weather is great. What a great place to relax.

Narrator: All of a sudden, the sky went dark.

Akira: Okay... Why is the sky dark?

Akihiko: Maybe someone is making a wish with a mystical dragon with 7 magical orbs?

Akira: …..

Akihiko: What?

Akira: That was a dumb suggestion and you know it.

Akihiko: Can't I make a joke every now and again?

Akira: Not dumbass jokes like that. I'm going to go check out why is the sky dark at 2 in the afternoon.

Narrator: Akira jumped of the roof and dashed out of the Shirogane estate. In the distance, a large vortex floated in the sky.

Akira: Okay, that's unusual. Well... compared to what I've seen... this is normal... ish.

Narrator: Suddenly a voice rang through Akira's head.

Voice: Help us... Being from a distant world... please help.

Akira: (Okay, what the hell was that? And where's that voice coming from? Could it be from the vortex?)

Voice: Enter in the Outrealms... I will explain more there.

Akira:(The Outrealms? What is that? Well... I'm not gonna know by just standing here.)

Narrator: Akira jumped into the vortex. On the other side, a girl with red hair greeted Akira.

Akira: Are you the one who called out to me?

?: No... However, whoever it was that summoned you here to this plane of existence must really need your help. Perhaps it was Naga that called out to you.

Akira: Naga?

?: She's kind of like a goddess in this universe.

Akira: I see. By the way, who are you?

Anna: My name is Anna. And this is the Outrealm Gate you just came out from.

Akira: The Outrealm Gate?

Anna: It's kind of like a portal to other worlds. And in each one there are multiple versions of me! Isn't that awesome!

Akira: Wait... how is that possible?

Anna: The other Anna's in the other worlds are my sisters across time and space.

Akira: Oh... that makes sense.

Narrator: The Outrealm Gate began to glow with searing light.

Anna: It would seem someone is summoning you. As for who it may be... even I don't know.

Akira: Ugh... Well let's see who is summoning me. Perhaps it's Naga?

Anna: Maybe... maybe not. You'll learn more when you get to your destination.

Narrator: The Outrealm Gate showed an image of a boy in a cloak resting in the grass.

Anna: And I believe you will find your answer in the World of Awakening.

Akira: Okay.

Narrator: Akira walked into the Outrealm Gate and vanished in the light. Anna stood there, folding her arms.

Anna: That was an interesting individual.

Narrator: Akira appeared in a lush field surrounded by flowers. The boy was lying down in the center of the field, unconscious. A group of people was approaching the boy.

Akira: (Crap... I need to get that boy out of there!)

Narrator: Akira jumped in front of the boy and pointed his sword at the small group.

Akira: Back off! I won't let you harm him!

Narrator: The small group bare their weapons against Akira.

?: Are you a part of the Plegian army?

Akira: The what army? I just got here through the Outrealm Gate. I'm not from around here... like at all.

Narrator: The man with blue hair that had his sword pointed at Akira's chest stepped forward.

Chrom: My name is Chrom, prince of Ylisse and leader of the Shepherds. May I ask what your name is, stranger?

Akira: My name is Akira Shirogane and as I have said before... I am not from this world... or this universe rather.

Chrom: Why have you come here, Akira?

Akira: I heard a voice telling me to help save this world. And I'm only going to assume it's from the Plegian army. I believe the person who was calling out to me was Naga.

Chrom: Hold on... Are you referring to the Divine Dragon Naga?

Akira: I believe so. I think I'm supposed to accompany you guys.

Narrator: A tall man clad in armor walked up to Chrom.

?: Chrom... if I may... We can't take this man's word for truth. I'd say we should test him and see what he knows.

Akira: If you want me to prove myself... I'll gladly play along. Just for the record... when I prove you guys wrong... I expect an apology. And... who are the other two, Chrom?

Frederick: My name is Frederick, lieutenant of the Shepherds. I'd watch that rude way of speaking, if I were you.

Narrator: Akira's body sparks with electricity, stares at Frederick with a cold look on his face.

Akira: From where I'm standing... I can EASILY kill you where you stand and not regret it. So, don't piss me off again.

Frederick: ….

Narrator: The girl with a staff walked in between Akira and Frederick.

?: Enough, you two!

Akira: Don't order me around! I'm here to help save your sorry asses from certain destruction.

Frederick: Lissa! Get out of my way!

Lissa: No! I will not have you two fighting each other when there is a bigger enemy out there we need to defeat.

Akira: Finally, someone here that makes sense. Can we just focus on the big picture here?

Chrom: Yes. But we can't be fighting amongst ourselves. So, for now we believe you. However, if what you say is false... we will have no choice but to eliminate you.

Akira: I have no reason to lie to you, but you are welcome to try to kill me. It will be your undoing. Also, shouldn't that boy wake up?

?: Ugn...

Narrator: The boy woke up and stared at everyone with a confused look on his face.

?: Who are you guys?

Chrom: We are not your enemies, we are the Shepherds. My name is Chrom. What is your name?

Robin: My name is Robin. That's all I can remember.

Akira: I'm going to take a random guess and say he's suffering from amnesia. That would explain why he can only remember his name and nothing else.

Chrom: Robin... I think you should come with us. We can help you regain your memories.

Akira: Plus, it's way better than sleeping out in the open where you can get attacked.

Robin: Yeah... that makes sense. The only thing I have with me is this tome.

Akira: So basically, you can perform magic.

Robin: Exactly.

Chrom: Welcome aboard the Shepherds, Robin.

Robin: Thank you, Chrom. So, where are we headed now?

Akira: That is a good question. Where are we going, Chrom?

Chrom: We were heading back to Ylisse, but we heard of renegades causing trouble in a nearby town and we were heading there to deal with the problem.

Akira: Heh. This will be fun.

Lisse: How is fighting fun?

Akira: Lisse, where I come from, fighting is always a necessity.

Lisse: I see...

Akira: I think I'll show you guys how strong I am. Don't worry, Robin. Your memories will be back in no time.

Robin: I hope so.

Akira: Well, lead the way, Chrom. We got a lot of ground to cover if we want to save the villagers from the renegades that are causing them trouble.

Frederick: Do not order Chrom around that way.

Akira: Don't piss me off again... This is your second warning.

Chrom: Akira is right... We need to save the villagers. Let's go!

Narrator: Akira and the Shepherds ran through the forest till they saw a small village in the distance.

Akira: There it is. What's the plan, Chrom?

Chrom: Hmm... Can you cause a distraction while we save the villagers?

Akira: That I can do. I'll stop those thieves in their tracks.

Narrator: Akira grins and dashes across the trees toward the village.

Chrom: Alright, let's do this!

Narrator: Meanwhile at the village, Akira dashes to the entrance where two thieves were standing guard. Akira grins and runs faster with blinding speed, knocking the two thieves away. A loud noise can be heard in the village.

Akira: Aww... how adorable. These guys think they can stop me. Looks like I'll have to show them how wrong they are.

Narrator: Akira unsheathed his two swords, Tsubasa and Tengu.

Akira: Tsubasa, Tengu! We've got work to do!

Tsubasa/Tengu: Okay!

Narrator: In no time flat, all the thieves were defeated and all the villagers were rescued.

Akira: Well, that was easy. Chrom, nice job on you guys rescuing the villagers.

Chrom: Your swordplay is amazing! Have you been practicing?

Akira: Yeah. It's kind of my daily pastime.

Chrom: In any case, we should head out to Ylisstol. My sister Emmeryn would be very pleased to meet you, Akira.

Akira: I'm starting to get used to this world. It's much more exciting than where I reside.

Chrom: Oh, really? Well you and Robin are by far the most interesting individuals I've seen so far.

Akira: I'm sure your sister would be more interested in Robin than me.

Robin: Why do you say that?

Akira: Well... We found you sleeping in the middle of a lush pasture. Those thieves could have arrived and potentially kill you. It's a good thing we found you first.

Robin: Yeah. But... It's getting dark. We should get going before more thieves arrive.

Narrator: Two villagers approached Akira and the Shepherds.

Villager #1: Thank you for rescuing us from those ruffians. We tried to stop them as much as we could... but they killed most of the other villagers.

Villager #2: Here are some food and some water. It's a long trip wherever you are going. Safe travels to all of you.

Akira: Don't you guys need this stuff to survive? I don't think we should take what you have left. It doesn't feel right to take something that you need.

Chrom: Akira is right. Keep your food and water. We are only roughly a few minutes away from where we are going.

Villager #1: Alright then. Thank you for saving us. We really appreciate you helping us.

Narrator: Akira and the Shepherds left the village and headed to the kingdom of Ylisstol. Civilians were walking around, buying the local merchandise and talking amongst themselves. When they saw Chrom and the others, they stopped what they were doing and crowded around them.

Akira: It would seem that these people really look up to you, Chrom.

Chrom: Yeah. But mostly it's my sister they look up to. She's the voice of this kingdom. I'm the next in line to lead this kingdom. It's a huge responsibility.

Akira: I think you are capable of the job. Who else can do it, aside from your sister?

Chrom: You make a valid point. I have to be strong... just like the rulers before.

Akira: Just don't do something rash, okay?

Chrom: I won't.

Narrator: Chrom lifted up his hand to shake. Akira stared at and shook his hand.

Chrom: By the way, what are those two swords you have there? They have a similar mystic property much like the Falchion.

Narrator: Akira folded his arms and stared at his swords.

Akira: They are Tsubasa and Tengu. They are my spirit guides that inhabit my swords.

Chrom: Interesting. It's a good thing you are on our side then.

Akira: I've been meaning to ask but is Lissa and Frederick brother and sister to you, Chrom?

Chrom: Well, Lissa is my sister. Frederick is like a brother I wish I had.

Lissa: You forgot to say "cute sister"!

Frederick: It warms my heart to think I am a brother to you, Chrom.

Akira: Hehehe..

Frederick: What's so funny, Akira?

Akira: Nothing. It's just that this is a side of you I've never seen before.

?: HELP!

Akira: Who was that screaming?

Chrom: It was Emmeryn! We have to hurry and see what is troubling her.

Narrator: Akira and the others ran in the castle, only to find a bunch of shadow-like figures attacking a girl in a dress.

Akira: Wait. What are those shadow-like things?

Chrom: Risen!

Lissa: They are Grima's foot-soldiers! Undead soldiers that cause mayhem and destruction wherever they go! We have to save Emmeryn before she gets hurt!

Akira: I'm on it!

Narrator: Akira unsheathed his two swords and dashed toward the Risen. Chrom unsheathed his Falchion and dashed towards the Risen as well.

Akira: Let's do this, Chrom!

Chrom: Right!

Narrator: In no time flat, Akira and Chrom made short work of the Risen, in which they disappeared in a puff of black smoke.

Akira: That was surprisingly easy.

Chrom: The Risen aren't to be taken lightly. They are known to increase in numbers over the day.

Akira: Good to know. At least they are easy to beat.

Chrom: There are different types of Risen. Some can be Pegasus Knights, while others can be trained assassins. Be on your guard when you fight them.

Akira: Noted.

Narrator: Akira ran up to Emmeryn.

Akira: Are you alright?

Emmeryn: I am now, thanks to you and my brother Chrom.

Chrom: It's a good thing we arrived then. Before we got here, we ran into Akira and Robin. They have been a big help to us so far.

Akira: Just keeping my promise to Naga, that's all.

Emmeryn: Your promise to Naga? What do you mean?

Narrator: Akira explained to Emmeryn everything that has happened, how he wasn't from the kingdom of Ylisstol and that he came from the Outrealm Gate.

Emmeryn: I see. So, you are not from this world at all. That would explain the attire you have on... not to mention the swords that you wield.

Akira: Yeah, these swords were forged by my father Susano'o. In my world, he is the god of steel.

Chrom: Your father is a god, Akira? I assume you are the same as he?

Akira: Not really. I'm a demi-god, to put it simply.

Lissa: That's cool.

Akira: Anyway... Chrom wasn't there something you had to tell Emmeryn?

Chrom: Indeed. Would you mind going outside? Emmeryn and I must talk about important affairs.

Akira: Alright. I'll go check out the town. Do some exploring.

Lissa: I'll come with you, Akira!

Frederick: I shall come as well, so Lissa doesn't get attacked by thieves and brigands.

Akira: Ok. See you later, Chrom!

Narrator: Akira, Lissa and Frederick left the castle and entered the town, where things were busy and business was booming. Meanwhile, a tall figure with a mask was watching Akira and the others from a distance.

?: He's the one... The one who will save us.
