I have this idea. I absolutely love the idea of people with wings. I just thought. What if Sophie Foster was born with alicorn wings as an unexpected side effect. I can imagine her being born with fuzzy white wings and her human parents being shocked. When she was six though her wings grew to big to hide and her parents made the hard decision to amputate them. It wasn't what Sophie wanted though and she became more recluse and sad. Her only freedom was taken away from her and then she turned to knowledge and focused on her education as an escape. When Fitz found her and took her to Everglen she wondered if she would never fly again or if the elves advanced technology and medicine could help her. Her wing amputation would further her fear of doctors though. But when she drank Youth and all of the other healing elixirs her wings regrew. They had apparently been in the process of healing, but the harmfulness of the human cities stunted their growth and the elixirs helped them fully heal. Imagine her never having to hide her beautiful wings again. And when she finds Silveny she is shocked and amazed by the fact that they have virtually the same wings. They would fly everyday together and grow so much closer than they ever were. I love this idea so much and I want to write about it so much.
