Yakuza Wars Crossover Arc

Episode 2: Parallel Falchion

Narrator: Akira, Frederick and Lissa returned to the castle. Chrom and Emmeryn were waiting for them near the balcony overlooking the city.

Akira: We're back. I trust your conversation went well.

Chrom: It has.

Emmeryn: Once again, I must thank you for assisting my brother Chrom and his Shepherds for rescuing the villagers earlier.

Akira: Don't mention it. Anything else you want us to take care of?

Emmeryn: Beg pardon?

Akira: I promised Chrom and the others that I would help anyway that I can. I'm not about to just abandon them.

Chrom: Akira...

Emmeryn: I see that you are devoted to my brother and his cause. Chrom, I believe Akira would make a fine addition to the Shepherds. Don't you agree?

Chrom: I agree. How about it, Akira? Want to join the Shepherds?

Akira: Like I would say no. I think Robin should join as well.

Robin: Sure. If it wasn't for Chrom and everyone here... I might have been dead by now.

Akira: Don't worry, Robin. As long as you have something worth protecting... You will see things more clearly. Just give it time.

Chrom: Akira and Robin. You are now a part of the Shepherds. We move out tomorrow. There are a few things that need to be attended to.

Akira: Alright. In that case, I will explore around the place. Don't worry... I can take care of myself.

Chrom: Alright but be careful. There are vagabonds and hordes of Risen out there.

Akira: Heh. I'll be fine.

Narrator: Akira walked out of the castle and headed into town.

Akira: (This place reminds me of home. I hope everyone is okay back at home.)

Narrator: Nearby the mysterious figure was watching Akira from a distance.

?: ….

Narrator: Akira walked into a clearing in the forest with the moon shining overhead a small river.

Akira: This is really beautiful. This looks like a great place to relax for a bit before I head back.

Narrator: The mysterious figure walked up to Akira slowly then tried to attack with a sword. Akira jumped out the way and knocked the person to the ground.

Akira: You know... you picked a very bad time to pick a fight with me.

Narrator: The moonlight shined upon the person to reveal a girl in a blue and gold outfit.

Akira: Who are you?

?: I'd ask the same thing about you.

Narrator: Akira picked up the girl and folded his arms.

Akira: Talk. Before I lose my patience.

?: My name is Lucina. I see that you have met my father already.

Akira: Your father?

Lucina: Chrom is my father. I come from the distant future where everything is different. The kingdom is in ruins, the Risen roam the earth and Grima remains as the overlord of the Ylistol Kingdom.

Akira: Woah. That's kinda deep. Still, if you need to warn Chrom about the upcoming threats ahead... We can go see him if you like.

Lucina: I would... but not yet. He hasn't found a bride to rule by his side yet. Plus... Me being here may frighten him. I will talk to him when things transpire a bit more. Surely you understand how I feel.

Akira: But of course.

Lucina: I would also ask of you not to mention I was here. I will approach him and the others in due time.

Akira: Alright. I'm going to head back now. See you around.

Lucina: Likewise.

Narrator: Lucina walked into the grass and disappeared from view. Akira folded his arms and closed his eyes and began to hover.

Akira: (What should I do about all of this? Lucina is Chrom's daughter from the distant future... yet i can't tell Chrom about this? Ugh... This is making my head hurt.)

Narrator: Just then a small horde of Risen surrounded Akira.

Akira: Well then... this is a new development. I never knew Risen could be so coordinated that they would catch me off guard. However...

Narrator: Akira cracked his knuckles and unsheathed his swords.

Akira: I'm in a league all on my own!

Narrator: Akira charged at the Risen, killing one after another until a larger Risen approached Akira.

Risen Chief: GGGGRRRAAAHHH!

Akira: I guess you are the leader of this small pack, eh? Hate to break it to ya, but you are going down just like the others.

Narrator: The Risen Chief charged at Akira with blinding speed. Akira waited for the Risen Chief to get close then rapidly jabbed him several times with his sword. The Risen Chief doubled over in pain and exploded in a murky black smoke.

Akira: Phew... That's the end of that. Still... I've never saw that many Risen before. I think I should head back to Chrom and the others.

Narrator: Akira ran back to the castle, where Frederick and Lissa were waiting for him.

Lissa: I trust your walk went well?

Akira: Well...

Narrator: Akira explained to Lissa and Frederick about how he was ambushed by a small horde of Risen.

Frederick: It would seem that you are capable of taking care of Risen hordes. But those are just the small ones. In other locations, the Risen come in larger numbers. If we come across a large horde, we must pick them off a certain amount before going after the Risen Chief of that particular horde. Take out the leader, the rest will follow.

Akira: I see. I will keep that in mind. Chrom is talking to Emmeryn?

Lissa: No. He was tired so he went to sleep. Robin is sleeping as well.

Akira: After a day like today... I don't blame them. I think I'll rest up too.

Frederick: I believe we all need to get some rest for tomorrow. We have a big day ahead of us.

Lissa: Yeah. Chrom said that we are going to Regna Ferox tomorrow.

Akira: Regna Ferox?

Frederick: Regna Ferox is a kingdom in the northern region. The khans in Regna Ferox are war mongers... putting their best warriors to do battle every few years. It's a pointless gesture really... but it keeps the peace.

Akira: Sounds exciting.

Lissa: You sound very excited about this.

Akira: Of course. Why wouldn't I be excited?

Lissa: Cause these things tend to get a bit... serious.

Akira: Lissa... I've faced against people more threatening than anything here. I'll be fine. I promised Naga I would.

Frederick: You mentioned her before. I know that you are not from this world... But perhaps you can tell us why Naga sent you here.

Akira: I'm not allowed to say.

Frederick: And why not?

Akira: Two reasons. One: Naga told me not to. Also, if I told you everything... I'd be breaking a promise to many people if I told you.

Frederick: I see.

Lissa: If it's that important... I suppose we aren't meant to know.

Akira: Thanks for understanding. *yawn* It's getting late... We should get some sleep.

Lissa: We have a spare room for you in the castle for you to sleep in.

Akira: Nice.

Narrator: Lissa led Akira to a room with a big bed in the center.

Lissa: Good night, Akira. We have a big day ahead of us tomorrow.

Akira: Yeah. And good night to you too.

Narrator: Akira jumped in the bed and fell asleep.
