Coal looked out the window, he was starting to regret his decision of volunteering, was it worth it? He looked at Daisy noticing how scared she was, he could understand her feelings, the best Coal can do is to protect her.
"Hey Daisy? Are you excited to go to the YCaptiol? I heard they have luxury items compared to what we have." Coal says, trying to make the mood happier.
"Maybe, I don't know if I would enjoy it too much knowing I will probably die soon." Daisy says, keeping a calm face.
Coal nods, he knew she was right, how could they enjoy something before being put into a death game. Although it may help them feel better.
Beauty walks in, smiling at the two tributes. She would be wearing a new outfit made of flowers.
"Coal and Daisy, the Captiol TV has mentioned us!" She giggled happily.
Coal turned on the TV as the show's commentators, Blight, Carla, and Caesar talked about tributes.
"Did you see the tributes from District 1? Shimmer and Apollo? They are so strong-like! The District 5 girl, Glow, looks promising! As well as the District 10 Boy, Charles! We also CANNOT forget to talk about this year's District 12 tributes, Coal and Daisy, who are both 12! Coal was also District 12's first ever volunteer! How exciting!" Blight says.
"Yes indeed they all are promising!" Caesar and Carla say.
Coal and Daisy watched as they are mentioned, pretty shocked that they were mentioned over the Districts 2, 4 Careers. This was very unlikely.
Soon the train arrived at the Captiol, screaming citizens waiting to see a glimpse of the Tributes, Coal and Daisy wave to them, which made them scream more. They soon were taken off the train, as well as the other 22 tributes, it was mayhem, but they were taken to parade changing room.
