Disclaimer: I do not own either RWBY or Star Wars

The members of team RWBY plus Sun and Neptune stared at the bodies of White Fang soldiers they had stumbled upon.

"These wounds…" Ruby mused as she stared. "They weren't made by guns… and they're too precise to have been made with normal weaponry…"

"Hey! Look at this!" Sun exclaimed as he held up a small wedge shaped weapon.

"Is that…" The red-haired weapons expert looked at it with dawning comprehension.

"Kunai…" Blake filled in before her leader had a chance.

"I don't know any Hunter who uses those… And it's too uncommon for the Atlas military…" Weiss scrutinized the weapon.

"No… but I do know someone who uses both Kunai and Tantou... And definitively with enough skill to manage this…" The Faunus Huntress said hesitantly.

"I sense a 'but' incoming." The other Faunus of the group said, half-jokingly, half seriously.

The raven-haired girl simply nodded. "But she was still part of the White Fang when I left… And while she was part of it before it became violent… It didn't seem to me like she had any care about the change…" Her expression became deeply contemplative.

"So you're saying this doesn't make any sense to you… Then again… I heard that the Army of Union actually contains a large number of Faunus… and that some of them are probably former members of the White Fang…" The sudden seriousness in the voice of the monkey Faunus caught most of the others off guard.

"Wait, where did you hear that?" Yang interjected. "I've been trying to keep some tabs on it but…"

"I heard it from Sage. It seems he and Scarlet decided to go take a look at some point." The dirty-blonde haired boy simply shrugged dismissively.

The members of team RWBY was left staring at him incredulously, unable to believe his flippant attitude to the matter.

"So wait… you think that this person joined the Army of Union and is now fighting against the White Fang? Why would she be doing that?" Finally the leader of team RWBY recovered enough to question the information. She then tilted her head in confusion. "Why would the Army of Union fight the White Fang?"

"Chances are high that the White Fang would regard a betrayal like that harshly, and even try to get rid of the Army of Union… And if the group actually contains former members like Felis…" Blake gave an explanation she felt was possible.

"I was going to say because Wayle founded the Army of Union apparently, but your explanation makes a small level of sense too." Neptune added.

Once again team RWBY was rendered speechless, although this time they recovered quicker.

"Oh. Figures." Was all that escaped the mouth of Yang, who was the first to recover.

After this Weiss shook her head. "We don't have time for this, we need to move on if we want to complete our mission."

A number of affirmative gestures and words came from the others, although it took longer for Blake than the others.

"Yeah. Besides, it looks like the battle isn't here at all." Ruby added helpfully. "So the front lines must be elsewhere."

"Of course they are. Let's go." The white-haired heiress said.

The youngest member of the group looked slightly dejected, but was still one of the first to move, with the others following suit.

"So… Remind me. How much manpower does the White Fang have again?" Wayle asked as he surveyed the forces the White Fang had arrayed.

There was easily thousands of them.

"Hard to determine my Lord, but if I were to wager a guess, I would say at least 60 percent of the former population of Menagerie should be willing to assist them." Felis provided.

The young Sith simply sighed deeply. "A large and indeterminable number then. Fantastic."

"What do you want us to do?" The Captain asked.

"Cut of the head of the snake and the body dies." Was the response of the youth. "Well, in this case it would be two but… That is irrelevant."

"So our objectives are Cinder Fall and Adam Taurus?" The feline Faunus asked.

"Yes. With them out of the picture hopefully the White Fang would lose direction and fracture, allowing us to disassemble it." Wayle nodded.

"My Lord! I bring news!" A new voice burst into the meeting, one of Felis' scouts.

"Speak."

"Hunter teams from Beacon academy have been sighted in the area. It seems they are here to engage the White Fang." The scout reported.

A frown formed on the dark Force users face. "So they resorted to that? Those fools! The Hunters are for fending of the Grimm! Not for fighting their battles!"

Anger was apparent in his voice, and the atmosphere around him turned oppressive.

"Your orders my Lord?"

"Try to ensure that the Beacon teams do not get killed! Felis! Your scouts will seek the enemy commanders! Latune! Hit the strongpoints in the White Fang forces!" The orders were barked out with such ferocious intensity that many of the Army of Union members heard them.

"What about you Master?" Latune asked in response.

"I will be right in the middle of it all. Woe betide all who stand in my way!" With those words the ruler of the Army of Union set of, disappearing so quickly that even Latune and Felis found it difficult to follow.

That was, until the destruction began, carving a trail straight for the enemy centre.

Realising that this was his handiwork, the rest moved out as well.

By the time they arrived at the second mission point, all that was left was mangled bodies and ruination.

Some had been cut apart, others smashed into the surrounding so hard it broke all their bones. Yet others showed clear signs of electrocution.

This trail of destruction was unmistakable.

"If I'm not mistaken this would be Wayle's style, right?" A brown haired female teen said as she adjusted her sunglasses slightly, her gaze showing no reaction to the massacre before her.

"I think so… The damages to the terrain and soldiers are consistent with what he has displayed earlier." Another brunette, this one with rabbit ears agreed.

"Well. That hopefully makes this mission a lot easier. That guy turns hordes of Grimm into ashes. I sincerely doubt anyone within the White Fang can stop him." The first girl spoke up again as she slung her bag over her shoulder. "Unfortunately our orders still takes us down that trail. So we'll have no choice. I just hope the dumbasses in the councils doesn't decide we need to take him down as well."

-Break—

Screams filled the air around him as the poorly trained White Fang soldiers died by the dozens.

His sword tore through any that blocked his path, and those that tried to hinder him from the sides were met by an unrelenting wave of kinetic energy that broke their every bone as they impacted the trees or rocks around them.

Up ahead he could sense them. Even through the spreading fear of the common soldiers he could still sense the hatred that filled the leaders of the White Fang.

And with one final dash the last obstacle was passed. Behind him collapsed the form of a Paladin adorned with the White Fang symbol.

Ahead of him stood his primary targets. Adam Taurus and Cinder Fall.

He could see the slight widening of Cinders eyes in astonishment.

He couldn't blame her.

But in direct opposition to the shock evident in the manipulator's face a ferocious grin spread across the Faunus warrior's lips.

And soon two blades met as the bull-man charged in.

A small indenture formed from the force of their meeting blows, neither giving any ground as they pushed against the other.

The pressure exuded by the two seemed to electrify the air between them as they ground against each other.

"I've been waiting for this, Wayle Tyran!" Adam shouted loudly. "Let's finally settle this!"

"Just what I wished! Prepare for you final moments! Adam Taurus!" Wayle responded with equal volume.

They separated, landing several metres from the other.

Yet none present believed they were out of melee range, least of all the two fighters.

And this was soon proven true as they once again dashed in, clashing fiercely before separating again, this time turning into two blurs of power that occasionally clashed, their very clashes tearing gashes in the earth around them, their fearsome killing intents causing the more weak-hearted soldiers around them to out-right faint, while those stronger of heart were forced to back away.

An awkward laugh escaped Jaune Arc's lips as he watched the towering Paladins lumber towards him.

Beside him his team prepared for combat, Pyrrha readying her Miló and Akoúo̱, Nora hefting her Magnhild while Ren focused as he prepared to pull out his dual-weapons Storm Flower from his sleeves.

But before they could actually take them on, several bolts of plasma streaked in from the edge of the clearing, smashing into the Paladins on the far left causing severe damage to two of them.

What they saw next astonished team JNPR.

Another bunch of Paladins suddenly emerged from the glade's edge smashing into the White Fang Paladins with the force of a whirlwind, disabling another three Paladin's before they could react.

The White Fang pilots turned their machines to face the new threat, but their attempts at retaliatory fire proved futile as their poorly aimed shots were evaded with contemptuous ease, while the return fire was spot on, the poorly trained White Fang unable to manoeuvre well enough to dodge the shots.

Seeing as the Paladins were distracted Nora decided to apply her hammer to the nearest Paladin bearing the White Fang emblem (she did make sure to confirm this).

The sudden blow turned the knee joint to a mangled mess, causing the whole machine to topple as it became unable to support its own weight.

Following this Miló was thrust into the machines power supply, breaking it and robbing the machine of the energy needed to keep functioning.

With this the last of the White Fang Paladins had been rendered inoperable, and the newcomer Paladins quickly withdrew whence they came, leaving a confused team JNPR with a group of downed White Fang Paladins.

Glynda rubbed her forehead as she received news of a third force present. While there was no clear indication yet, it seemed to be the rumoured Army of Union.

Of course, team CFVY's report that they had found what appeared to be the aftermath of Wayle Tyran was an even bigger headache.

He disappears off and this is where he reappears?

Maybe she shouldn't be complaining as he's at least targeting a notorious terrorist group, and nothing else.

Still looking now, she finally understood what was going on over in the presumed centre of the White Fang forces.

No, more exactly, she could sense it now.

Wayle Tyran was there.

And he was fighting. It seemed to her that his opponent was Adam Taurus, although with the ferocious nature of their battle, and the fact that she only recently became able to see it meant that it was hard to figure it out.

She sighed and contacted Coco.

"Coco, your team's done. Come back and await further orders." She commanded.

"But Professor, we still haven't-"

"No need. I can see what's going on there from my current situation. I would strongly suggest you not go there."

"Got it."

"Wait, what's going on over there?" The stern professor winced slightly as a youthful and innocent voice spoke up suddenly.

"Nothing you need concern yourself with Miss Rose-"She began, but was interrupted.

"Is that… Wayle?! Fighting Adam?!" Suddenly Blake Belladonna spoke up, showing that she indeed had sharper senses than others.

She sighed. "Yes, Miss Belladonna. Yes it is. So I would suggest staying-"Once again she was interrupted, this time by the young raven-haired girls decision to act on her own.

She would have stopped her, but it proved unfeasible as the cat Faunus had already disappeared into the forest between them and the battle.

"Umm…" The rest of her team hesitated for a few seconds, alternating between the place where Blake had left and the teacher.

"Just go." She said resignedly. It was better than letting the girl go alone and she needed to-

Was that Sun Wukong and Neptune Vasilias?

And for the fourth time in just as many minutes Glynda Goodwitch sighed once again.

Why couldn't things be nice and simple just once? Was it really too much to ask?

Author's notes: Oh look! The potential for characters to die horribly! The question is, will anyone actually die? And will it actually be a major character? On a mostly unrelated note, early on there was a number of fanfics that paired off Blake and Adam for some reason that I honestly don't understand. Judging by the trailer, there is nothing major between them, as a matter of fact it seems to me Adam is the primary reason Blake left. And for some reason I don't think Adam thinks too highly of Blake at this point, although I haven't seen any indication either way yet so...

Oh well! Did I make any mistakes? Do you feel I did something completely wrong? Or do you just want to give a friendly suggestion? Then feel free to review! Because for the most part I find that reviews are good things! Except for when they say nothing useful whatsoever. In those cases I just file them under the 'someone said something' folder, and leave it there.

I hope you enjoy and that you have a nice day.
