New Life - Yeni Hayat - Episode 11
Yasemin stayed in the Guest Room outside of the Mansion but didn't sleep all night worrying about Ece and Adem and how he was going to explain Nevin's actions that have led them to this morning. Yasemin goes to the Guest House and Adem opens the door to let her in.
Yasemin: Are you all right…. How is Ece… I wanted to come so many times throughout the night to see if I could help you… but I knew I couldn't…. I've complicated your life so much , my love… I'm so sorry.
Adem: Yasemin…. Please stop being sorry for something you didn't do…. Nevin's lies did all of this….. Now I will pick up the pieces and restore my daughters life again
Yasemin: How is Ece… does she understand
Adem: She understands the lies but she can't understand how she could be someone else's daughter when she has been with us the whole time. I told her that she was and will always be my daughter and that I will adopt her so that no one will ever take her away from me.
Yasemin: I can have the Foundations lawyers do that for you immediately… they are experts in adoption proceedings ….. I will do whatever you need me to do to help you….. you know that.
Adem: Thank you…..that takes one thing off my mind….Did Timur leave you alone or did he try to intimidate you again.
Yasemin: he got the message… he is afraid of you and what you would do to him if he ever touches me again….. You have so much on your mind… let me help you with Ece… I've told the staff that she is to be treated as the princess of the palace and everyone is to keep an eye on her… I will stay with her as much as I can and Fatma will be assigned to her all the time…. No one will come near her without someone knowing.
Adem: I will tell security that Nevin will be allowed to see her, but she will not be allowed to take Ece away from here.
Yasemin: After breakfast I will take Ece with me to the foundation….. if that is alright with you….. I'm hoping that it will distract her and she can play with other children for a bit. I will not leave her alone.
Adem: You will make a great mother
Yasemin's heart fills with joy hearing those words… Ece comes into the room and immediately jumps into her fathers arms
Adem: Everything will be fine sweetheart…. I promise you… Yasemin has a surprise for you after you go eat Mrs Nesibe's special breakfast that she made just for you.
Yasemin: Whatever you want to eat Mrs Nesibe will make for you and then we can go to the Foundation and you can play with some of the other children that are there… would you like that?
Ece: Will sister Gokce be there too
Yasemin: I will ask her to join us … if that's ok with your daddy
Ece: Please daddy…. Sister Gokce is so much fun ….. can she come
Adem: Go get yourself dressed and you have to eat all of your breakfast before you can go…
As Ece rushes to her room Adem takes Yasemin into his arms and gives her a gentle kiss
Adem: Thank you …..you've turn this nightmare morning into a happy place… but please don't let her out of your site.
Yasemin: Are you going to join us for breakfast before you go out
Adem: No, I don't want to rub my presence into Timur's face… I need him to be cooperative to make all of this end. I will get something later

Adem smiles : I love you to!
Ece comes rushing out of her room and Adem gives her a big hug and kiss and tells her: You promise me to listen to Yasemin and don't go away from her and if that man that bought you candy at the store ever comes by you, you scream and run away from him…. He is a very bad man.
Ece: I promise daddy…. Gives her father a big hug and kiss
As Mrs Nesibe is fixing Ece her breakfast…. Gokce comes into the room
Ece: Sister Gökçe are you coming with us today…. We will have so much fun
Gokce looks to Yasemin with a startled look seeking explanation

Yasemin: I wish I could give you a simple explanation… everything you said is true… everything has changed in the last 24 hours and greater changes are in the works… but for today my number one concern is Ece and I need your help… I don't want her world come crashing down on her like it did last night… I'm desperately trying to not let her be scared so her life spirals out of control…. You and I understand that better than anyone… Do you want Ece to go through what you went through…. I certainly don't want what happened to me happen to this precise little girl.
Gokce: You really love her and her father… don't you
Yasemin: Yes , I do… very much and I will protect them as best I can…. When Ece asked for you to join us today, She gave me an idea that you may like and could be very beneficial to the Foundation. I have to make some personal changes at the foundation and need a new direction in how to get more attention to what we are trying to do.
Gokce: How would I be able to help you
Yasemin: Gokce…. You have so much untapped potential… you simple haven't found a place to direct it….. If I'm right you will become the Foundation's biggest asset and find a purpose for yourself.
Gokce: I didn't even think you liked me, yet you know me better than I know myself… this should be very interesting
Yasemin: Remember, Ece is our number one priority… she can't ever be out of our site … she has already been kidnapped once by that psychopath that kidnapped me. If Ferda gets anywhere near Ece call security…. Ferda cannot be allowed near Ece.
Gokce: Yes….. Mother Yasemin
Yasemin smiles : To much has happened not to be especially safe.
As Yasemin with Ece in hand, Fatma and Gokce enter the New Life Foundation lobby they can't miss seeing the very large battered face of Yasemin displayed for all to see. Gokce and Ece are stunned at this brutal image.
Ece: sister Yasemin…. Why is that picture there?
Yasemin: That picture is a reminder of how bad people can get hurt and this Foundation was formed to help fix people like that.
Ece: But that is you sister Yasemin… who hurt you so bad
Yasemin: Let's not talk about who hurt me but rather who helped fix me … do you know who that was
Ece: Who was it
Yasemin: Your daddy… my very special hero
Gokce and Fatma look at Ece eyes as they widen with pride that her father was a hero … Gokce in seeing this exchange comes to realize what Yasemin is asking of her when it comes to the Image the Foundation wants to put across.
Gokce goes to Yasemin and gives her a hug and says: You suffered dearly at the hands of my father… I now know what you want me to do for this Foundation and for all the women and children you are trying to help. I'm sorry… I was so self centered that I couldn't see your hurt.
Fatma's eyes are filled with tears of joy knowing that the healing will start happening and Ece will be the inspiration into.
Yasemin: Ece… Fatma is going to take you to the play area where all the children play… but since Fatma has that hurt leg she needs to sit and watch, she can't go chasing you… you promise to play near her so that she can see you at all times … we don't want that bad man to come near you. Yasemin and Gokce go to the boardroom where different department heads are waiting including Berna.
Yasemin: I've called all of you here to announce a few changes that I feel will benefit the growth and direction of The New Life Foundation. Ever since the Summit and my recent news conference we have been getting very favorable response to our purpose for being. To expand that outreach I've hired Gokce Karatan as the new director of outreach who will develop an internet campaign that will bring our message on social media like never before. Battered women and children have always been put into the closet for no one to see. Gokce will show everyone what they refuse to see even in their own houses.
Gokce: I was one of those that couldn't see what was going on in my own house , but that will change, Yasemin's strength and courage to come forth and be the symbol of this abuse has given me a new purpose in helping her achieve the goals set fort.
Yasemin: The other significant change is that all expenditure requests must have my approval. With the recent asset deposits that we have received I don't want money being spent foolishly so I will make that decision, since it's my money.
Berna eyes signal that this is directed at her and is concerned at to what has been happening. She approaches Gokce
Berna: Gokce…. When did you and Yasemin become such close friends
Gokce: the last 24 hours my eyes have been awakened and Yasemin has become my inspiration and new hero. I never knew how strong, intelligent and loving that she is.
Berna: What happened to bring this sudden change
Gokce: This wasn't sudden ….. it was that no one wanted to admit what was happening… Once she realized that she loves Adem….. she is no longer afraid of living her life the way she sees fit. I can't talk any longer I have to go be with Ece in the play area. You will be seeing more of me now that I'm an employee.
Gokce textes Yasemin to let her known that Berna knows who the change was directed at and to be careful of her traitorous friend.
At the mansion Nevin and Melahat arrive wanting to see Ece. They are informed that Ece is with Yasemin, Gokce and Fatma at The New Life Foundation and they can wait since they are on their way back.
Melahat: The nerve of that woman… not only does she take your husband she is now taking your daughter.
Nevin: Auntie… I can't put the blame on her 8 years ago… she wasn't there… I'm the one who cheated on Adem… What a mess I've maid of things
Yasemin has been notified by security that Nevin and Melahat are waiting to see Ece. Yasemin informs security that they are 10 minutes away and that Ece is anxious to see her.
This is one confrontation that Yasemin isn't thrilled with doing but as long as she remains in Adem and Ece's lives it will occur often. When Ece sees Nevin she rushes to her arms
Nevin: How I missed you my precious…. Did you have fun today
Ece: When I woke up … I thought today will be real sad , but then Mrs Nesibe made my favorite breakfast and then I got to go to the Foundation and play with all those kids ….. I had fun….. Mommy… that big picture of Sister Yasemin as we entered the building was so sad. Sister Yasemin's face was so hurt but daddy was able to fix it … daddy was the hero … that made me smile knowing that Daddy is a real hero.
Yasemin: Ece can you take Aunt Melahat and see if Mrs Nesibe has those special snacks that you like so that your mommy and I can have a little talk
Ece takes Auntie Melahat to the kitchen to see what special treats Mrs Nesibe has for them.
Yasemin and Nevin go to the art room where they can have a conversation without everyone hearing.
Yasemin: I understand you hate me and you think I'm stealing Adem, but that is far from the case… Adem has never once acted improper… I kissed him….. Yes, I'm in love with him , but I also will never pressure him to do anything he doesn't want to do…. I brought you here not to talk about Adem and me but this talk needs to be about Ece. Last night….. Adem tried to explain the best way possible what has happened. Ece understood some , but other points she can't and what we tried to do today was to keep her distracted enough not to think about what she doesn't understand. We have many children that come to the foundation that find themselves in similar situations and we have experts that help them understand without destroying them and scaring them for life.
I love Ece, very much and I don't want this situation to scar her life where it ruins the rest of it. However, angry you are at me for loving them both… please keep Ece in mind first… this is a very crucial period in keeping her healthy and happy.
Adem has placed some limitations only because he is afraid of the same kidnapper wanting to place harm of Ece to get back at him. You can see Ece as much as you want but it will only be allowed here….. you won't be allowed to take her else where.
Ferda will not be allowed to see Ece ever… she has been working with the kidnappers since Ece saw her at the cabin we were both kept. Ece doesn't understand how Ferda could be her mother and we are not allowing that to clog her mind until she is old enough to grasp what an evil person Ferda is. Lastly, If Kunduzi/ Ejder's should ever contact you and trick you into a game to play against us in trying to get Ece out of our protection and you cooperate…. You will never see Ece again
The foundation lawyers are making Ece Adem's daughter legally and no one will ever take her away from him. Ece's health and mental state is our only concern… If Adem decides to give you another chance you will not have me as a problem… but If Adem decides that he wants to be with me I will protect them at all cost and they will be mine forever.
Nevin: Have you and Adem slept together
Yasemin: You foolish woman….. you don't know the man do you…. To give an answer….. it's no and we won't until he decides… This conversation is over… spend your time with Ece wisely and please don't you and that gas bag Aunt try to undermine Ece's mental recovery with your petty jealousy.
Nevin now realizes why Adem is so attracted to Yasemin she not only has beauty , she has a inner strength that's unbreakable and determined. As they go to the kitchen to see Ece , Adem arrives from his busy day with Rasim.
Ece rushes to her fathers arms and gives him a big kiss : your my super hero to daddy

As everyone gathers on the balcony area Timur arrives and can't help but comment
Timur: The family dynamics have changed in the last 24 hours … we will have a full dinner table …. One surprise after another
Gokce: Let me share another surprise father…. Today I was made the New Director of Outreach for the New Life Foundation…. Can you believe that Father….. apparently Yasemin knows me better than you and has placed her full faith in me.
Yasemin: Gokce will be perfect for the job… today she got the inspiration she needed ….. I can't wait to see the first video she makes
Gokce : Yasemin…. I won't disappoint you… everything came together for me … now it will be a matter of editing and targeting the selected markets….. even my friends will be surprise when they realize I will be using them as my testing group.
Nevin asks Adem if they can talk… which Adem declines saying it's to early to have the conversation that they will eventually have… right now all their interactions will be to make Ece stronger and healthier… she is their priority at the moment.
Nesibe calls everyone to sit... dinner is being served. Ece has a big smile on her face seeing everyone one together and not fighting and screaming at each other a scene she hopes never to see again. What she does see is that her mommy and daddy are no longer together and aren't even speaking to each other.
Nevin asks Adem if she could tuck Ece in bed before she leaves for the night….
Adem : I course… Ece would love that
Nevin: I'm so sorry for all of this… it was never my intention to ruin everything … I only have myself to blame
Adem doesn't respond and leaves Ece with Nevin for now. He goes to Yasemin so they could go for a walk to get a recap of the day and have some alone time without any prying eyes seeing them.
Adem: whatever you did, Ece appears to be happy today…. Thank you… I thought for sure I would have a very distraught little girl tonight
Yasemin: She is stronger than you think… when she saw that law photo of me, I was thinking , Why did I allow her to see this… but the way she handled it, she processed it and actually provide Gokce inspiration for what I want Gokce to do. She played with the other kids and I will bring her more often so she can interact with kids in similar situations. Children tend to help themselves better than adults trying to force them to an end.

Berna: Someone must have said something to Yasemin for her to do what she did today….. She is the only one that can authorize any cash disbursements… I can't spend a single lire without her approval….. Then she makes Gokce Director of Outreach and they are now the best of friends. I did manage to get from Gokce that Yasemin has professed her love for the bodyguard and Timur did nothing about it.
Ozgur: Timur didn't call me once today… was closed to any calls or meetings… something is about to happen and he isn't letting anyone in on it. If you say that Yasemin is with the bodyguard something is terribly wrong or he is setting a trap…. He divorces Yasemin and gives her all his assets to her and now she is with the bodyguard… who in their right mind would do such a thing
Berna: Yasemin no longer confides in me… which means she no longer trusts me…. Ozgur we may have to come to terms that we should our losses and leave before we get real burned by them.
Ozgur: If we leave we are penniless ….. what would we do then. Time to contact Kunduzi to see what's happening next.
