New Life - Yeni Hayat - Episode 12
The events of the day before should have resulted in complete chaos under normal conditions, but conditions aren't normal…. The controlling power and direction has shifted to Yasemin and Adam and the direction they are placing on everyone to get the nightmare that they have been living under their control.
Last nights private moment with Adem gave her a night of joyful bliss, her dreams were filled with her love for Adem and she wakens with her joy still on her face. She goes to the Guest House to see if Adem's night was similar or did Ece have a relapse into her darkness.
Yasemin: Good morning my love… was your night as joyful as mine or are we faced with more concerns
Adem: Ece slept very we'll … she didn't enter my bed once… I'm so thankful that she didn't…. You're display of affection and me feeling your treasure kept me aroused all night ….. at one point I was ready to come and just take you. Was that your intention
Yasemin: Not that I would have objected….. but it was not my intention …. I've never been this much in love before… and especially not with a man like you … the thought of you makes me want all of you … but the circumstances prevent that….. so I'm giving little portions of me and taking little tastes of you. Do you want me to stop
Adem: We have to stop this conversation …. I'm getting aroused again and I don't want to explain why
Ece enters the room and hugs and kisses both of them
Yasemin: Good Morning to you too… did you have a good night
Ece: I dreamt of Kings and Queens and little princesses… everyone was happy
Yasemin: Would you like to play with the children at the foundation again today
Ece: Yes, please
Adem : Go eat your breakfast…. And remember the rules I told you yesterday
Yasemin smiles at Adem and takes Ece hand as they go to the kitchen to once again start this new day.
After breakfast Yasemin, Ece Gokce and Fatma head to the New Life Foundation. Gokce has been thinking constantly and many ideas have been rushing through her head. Since Yasemin will be the focal point a story needs to be built around her. She asks Fatma to help her with a special project. As Ece is playing with the other children Gokce starts her conversation with Fatma.
Gokce: Fatma ….. in the past I've been a pest to you because, I resented how you favored Yasemin….. but everything has changed , now that Yasemin has put so much trust in me…. I really want to do a good job and make her proud of me. I need your help.
Fatma: Yasemin has changed everything in recent days…. How can I help
Gokce: When we walked into this building yesterday day what happened to us
Fatma: Seeing Yasemin's beautiful face so destroyed was a shock… I've known what your father has been doing , but what could I do… Yasemin never let anyone see her… she is so good with makeup that no one knew the suffering she was going through.
Gokce: When she is with Adem and Ece what do we see
Fatma: She is happy, she smiles, she glows … she is more beautiful than ever… she is in love
Gokce: Exactly… between you and me we need to take pictures of them when they are together and they think no one is looking… her story has to be from tragedy to happiness … that's the story of the New Life Foundation. Look at her this morning she was happier than she has been. She must of had a real good time with Adem last night.
Fatma: Do you think they are making love already
Gokce: Neither of them would do anything around Ece and Ece is always with them….. but they are sneeking kisses and touches that's for certain. Are you going to help me
Fatma: I will get Fatih to help….. he sees alot of things…. Miss Gokce , I've never seen you so excited about something … this is good for you
Gokce: Yasemin is the only one that has put this much faith in me…. What's going through my head is amazing, I just have to put it all together.
Fatma: I know you will do a good job… this is a very good cause
Yasemin receives a call from Kunduzi
Kunduzi: Hello princess….. You were free yet you stayed…. The bodyguard to hard to leave
Yasemin: What do you want from me
Kunduzi: Princess … your bodyguard embarrassed me the other night… My bosses did not like the interruption
Yasemin: Your bosses should be embarrassed … your an incompetent fool … even Timur thinks you as a clown joke
Kunduzi: How dare you call me a incompetent fool… Timur thinks I'm a clown joke
Yasemin: Yes….. you and your little games think you are so smart…. But Adem has beaten you every time…. You are no match for my Adem… your waisting my time… I've got more important things to do than talk to someone like you.
Kunduzi: Princess … your Adem has more troubles coming
Yasemin: Like sending the DNA report… again you showed your stupidity… you fool….. Maybe you think your Ferda is going to be any use to you
Kunduzi: Princess … Yasemin hangs up on him and calls Adem
Yasemin: Adem… I just got a phone call from Kunduzi…. He was on a fishing expedition trying to find out anything…. When I called him an incompetent fool and that Timur thinks of him a a clown joke ….. he took personal and wasn't very happy….. but he did say that you have more troubles coming…. You are a thorn in his side and the bosses don't like that you have disrupted their operation…. Please be careful … he is insane and blames you for his failures.
Adem: Don't worry... Rasim and our team have been monitoring him, we know his every move….. once we get the big fish in play Kunduzi will never bother anyone again.
Yasemin: Be careful my love…. I don't want to loose you ….. now that I found you…. I love you … we'll talk tonight.
Adem and Rasim react to this phone call
Rasim: they are getting anxious… pressure is being mounted on them to get that shipment delivered… maybe it's time for Timur to up the ante and force the mistake that will make this crumble around all this.
Adem: I talk to Timur and see if any pressure is being placed on him
Rasim: Ask him what Kunduzi's standing is…. The fact that he was trying to kill you the other night… he must of got his ass chewed for failing. With Yasemin calling him an incompetent fool that must made his ego burn.
Adem: Yasemin has been getting real good at dismantling people with her words lately…she is something.
Adem calls Timur
Timur: yes…. Yasemin lover… what can I do for you
Adem: Timur… get out of that frame of mind
Timur: your right… you won ….. I lost….What do you need from me
Adem: What's Kunduzi's status, now that he failed his first attempt… are the bosses realizing he is not what they thought he was
Timur: They are receiving heat for the failed delivery and they can't understand how a single Special Opps bodyguard has been able to foil them… but they don't know you Adem….. Like I know you.
Adem: You were going to give us the big players …. So we can set the board …. Are you still in or do we take you down with them… You have to commit… now
Timur: Before, I commit… what's in it for me…. You have already taken my most prize possession and she has all my assets … what am I going to be left with….
Adem: maybe freedom…. Yasemin was never a possession…. You will never learn
Timur: Your right Yasemin isn't a possession and that's why you have her
Adem : Yasemin is not part of this conversation… this is the last time I will ask you do want to get out from the hole you are in or do you want to be buried with the rest of them…. I assure you we will bury them. Think of Gokce for once and not yourself
Timur: Once again , your right…. First we must set up a sting operation on the mole … Ozgur…. He got burned with Obdullah's death, so now he will be looking to make Kunduzi an offer. Kunduzi isn't stupid but he likes to play games…. So lets give him a game
Adem: If I make myself the bait Kunduzi will jump at the chance….. Yasemin has already primed him for the chance
Timur: Yasemin is working with you on this…..
Adem: Yasemin no longer keeps secrets from me… stop your diversion…. The names of the bosses… we need to research them
Timur finally relents and gives the names of the Russian oligarchs that control all the illegal arms trade in Europe.
Adem gives the names to Rasim and then heads home to his new family and a surprise awaits him.
Nevin and Aunt Melahat are once again at the mansion to see Ece who is over joyed to see her. Nevin asks to talk to Yasemin
Nevin: Yasemin….. Adem won't talk to me and I need to talk with both of you….. before this night is over…. I spent all night thinking about my conversation with you and I need to talk.
Yasemin: of course I'll make sure of it… Let's do it after you put Ece to bed so that she doesn't hear anything
Nevin: Thank you….. Then proceeds to Ece to make the most of their time together
Adem arrives makes his greetings to everyone and goes to Bekir to have a little conversation. Yasemin follows him
Adem: Bekir… has Timur told you anything
Bekir: No… Why
Adem: just precautionary…. Kunduzi popped up today… so he may be planning something…. Just have everyone on a higher alert…. That madman may try something
Bekir: Timur knows of this… are you working with him
Adem: I've kept him informed…. By the way if Ferda comes here she can't be allowed on the grounds and anywhere near Ece.
Yasemin: Adem …. What is happening… are we in danger
Adem: This is just precautionary…. No one is endanger.
Yasemin: thank God…. Nevin asked to talk to both of us after she puts Ece to bed …. I told her we would even though you don't want to.
Adem: I don't want to get into an argument tonight
Yasemin: She wasn't argumentative…. She has a need to talk… we can listen no need for argument
Adem: you are becoming the peacekeeper…. Where is this coming from
Yasemin: I'm happy…. I want everyone else to be the same.
Adem: No wonder I love you… Gives her a sweet kiss…. Fatih seeing them all happy took the picture
Nesibe asks everyone to be seated so that dinner will be served. Timur asks to talk to Nevin after dinner. Adem once again excused himself as to not make it more difficult for Timur. After dinner Timur and Nevin have their conversation
Timur: Nevin… seeing you the past two nights … I'm rather curious… you're handling this new dynamics very controlled… several days ago you were over the cliff with suspicion and jealousy… what changed
Nevin: The truth is out… I can't change what is true….. I wasn't the person Adem thought I was... I deceived him from the first day… I don't want to offend you… I know what Yasemin means to you but she knows Adem better than I ever could… She supports him better than I could and she loves him better than I ever could… Adem belongs to her and she belongs to Adem.
Timur: Truth can make you see things that clearly
Nevin: Yasemin, yesterday gave me a speech that left me speechless… the truth she laid out made me look at everything… she was correct… I can't fight a union like theirs , they are meant to be together and no one will break them apart. That's the Truth.
Timur: Yasemin gave me a speech like that and I've been struggling to understand it and you have now simplified for me…. Yasemin gave me my truth, now I need to except it. Nevin … Thank you … I needed that perspective…. I'm sure we will talk more often.
Nevin: if you will excuse me , I need to go tuck Ece into bed and have my much needed conversation with Adem and Yasemin…. Good Night Mr Timur
Nevin proceeds to the Guest House where Ece is eagerly awaiting her …. She tells Ece a Goodnight story and gives a big kiss and hug. Her nerves ever so tenses she calms herself down to do what she knows she has to do. She asks Adem and Yasemin if there is a private spot where they could sit face to face and have the conversation that they need to have. Yasemin suggest the art room which is very relaxing and away from everyone.
Nevin: Adem… I'm truly sorry for making such a mess of our lives since day one… the lies compounded and they spiraled out of control to where we find ourselves today. Yasemin…. You think I hate you …. But truth be told I admire you… Yesterday you made me realize for the first time in my life where my priorities needed to be and it's certainly not me.
Ece, is the most precious of little girls and deserves all the love this world has to give. My actions nearly destroyed that for her and you Yasemin stepped in and made sure that that wasn't going to happen. I now know that you love her as much as anyone can and you love her father in the same fashion.
This should be the hardest thing I've ever done but truth be told it's the easiest. Yasemin's eyes are filled with tears, Adem is stunned at what he is about to hear….
Adem it's much easier and quicker in this society if a man files for Divorce… You and Yasemin deserve to be married and both of you need to adopt Ece so that witch Ferda never gets her hands on her. The only thing I ask is that I'm allowed to remain in Ece's life ….. I so want to see her grow into the beautiful woman that she will be.
Yasemin: I don't know what to say….. this is the greatest sacrifice any mother could make… I promise you….. we promise you… you will be as much part of her life as we are… you will not be deprived any privilege and she will still call you mother.
Adem: Yasemin spoke for both of us… You will always be her mother and I will always protect you…. Our priority will be Ece … she has been through so much lately …. How will she handle this
Nevin: no more secrets from her … all three of us as a family will sit down with her so that she sees that this is what is best for her…. We do this transition together
Yasemin: I agree ….. this is our new family dynamic and be damed what anyone else has to say.
Who would have thought that this night would have turned out the way that it did. Yasemin and Adem hug Nevin goodnight… Yasemin instructs Fatih to drive them home and Fatma, Gokce and Nesibe left with a jaw dropping look. Timur now realized what Nevin was trying to tell him and her actions just confirmed it.
In the car Aunt Melahat begins her litany of questions whose answers she won't believe. Fatih is all ears
Melahat: What just happened there… where did this new found peace come from… why are they so nice to you all of a sudden … Nevin speak
Nevin: I told Adem to file for divorce immediately, marry Yasemin and they both adopt Ece... Fatih eyes are ready to pop out … wait till he tells Fatma this latest twist in the love triangle.
Melahat: Daughter are you out of your mind, giving up all your rights to Ece
Nevin: Legally I won't be her mother… but I will be her mother until I die….. So will Yasemin….. Ece will be loved by all three of us. This is the best for Ece. My daughter will have a life of complete love.
Melahat: Did they force you into this
Nevin: Yesterday, when I talked to Yasemin…. Yasemin was the one that talk about Ece being top priority… I didn't… I was only concerned about being scorned in that I asked if they had slept together…. Yasemin was only concerned about Ece… She could care less if I hated her…. She was concerned about what Ece would here … about how to protect Ece from any mental harm. When we left yesterday…. I was ashamed of myself in that Adem's new love was more concerned about my daughter than I was. Yasemin was the better mother. Once I realized that….. the decision was easy… getting them to listen to me was the hard part and Yasemin made that also easy.
Yasemin will be a great mother to Ece and even a better wife to Adem. The decision was easy.
Melahat is left speechless and Fatih can't wait to tell Fatma.
This nightly walk between Yasemin and Adem will be different tonight….. the lovers games will be replaced with parents worries.
Yasemin: I don't know if I could have done what Nevin just did
Adem: Yet your speech made her want to do it… what did you say
Yasemin: I only told her to put Ece first and not be concerned of these petty jealousies.
Adem: Maybe not your intention, but you shamed her….. you were the better mother… you my beautiful Yasemin are the most amazing woman I have ever known… Will you marry me ?
Yasemin: Yes, Yes and Yes… but first we have to get you divorced …. I was heartbroken thinking that we would never be together…. But now we will be in the same bed every night for the rest of our lives….. I couldn't be any happier…. She gives Adem a kiss that wants the honeymoon night to start now
Gokce realized that what transpired with Nevin, something special must have happened and that kiss most certainly confirmed it. She got some fabulous photos of them hugging , looking into each others eyes and that kiss.
In the morning Yasemin rushes to the guest house and greets Adem with a kiss as he opens the door
Yasemin: How was your night…. Did you make love to me all night long…. I made love to you completely, my love.
Adem : I couldn't stop thinking about seeing you completely naked and how gorgeous you are. I will be married to the most beautiful woman in the world.
Yasemin: Don't go turning Timur on me… just think of me as the only woman for you… I will get old ….. my looks will change…. My love for you will remain the same or even stronger.
Adem: you are mine and will always be… Mrs Yasemin Sahin sounds pretty good
Yasemin: It sounds perfect
Ece comes into the room and gives both of them a hug and kiss.
Ece: Daddy….. When do I go back to school or do I keep going to the Foundation
Adem: for this week you will go to the foundation, we will have to make arrangements about school.
Yasemin: I will make arrangements with the school to get your studies so that you won't fall behind….. Is that ok
Ece: we were doing some special projects and I don't want to miss those
Yasemin: I promise to get them for you….. lets go get some breakfast. Adem are you joining us
Adem: Yes… Timur is just going to have to get use to the fact that Yasemin will now be his wife … until which time living arrangements can be sorted out since Yasemin does own everything.
Fatih has been telling everyone what transpired in the car with Nevin. Gokce , Fatma and Nesibe are anxiously awaiting how they are going to break the news. Fatma can't stand not knowing so she asks Yasemin to come to the balcony.
Fatma: Fatih told us everything… when are you Adem getting married.
Yasemin: the ears in this place….Please don't gossip until we have a chance to tell Ece….. all three of us are going to do it… we are trying to make it as easy as we can… Ece is accepting me… she's been giving me good morning kisses, so I don't want to ruin it. This is going to be a big major change for her
Fatma: you will be a great mother , you're always thinking of her… I will tell everyone ….. I still can't believe Nevin did this.
Yasemin: she caught Adem and I by complete surprise….. I will forever be in her debt.
Adem and Timur look to each other
Timur: Adem… I 'm glad you could join us, I have something to share after breakfast
Yasemin looks to Adem and rolls her eyes….. responds with his slight nod telling not to worry its alright
Yasemin: ladies everyone finish with breakfast we have a busy day at the Foundation…. Gokce have you got any ideas to start showing me.
Gokce: I kind have an outline …. As to where I'm headed … I can show you that
Yasemin: that's great
With the women leaving Timur and Adem are left to themselves
Timur: Have you given it any thought on how the sting for Kunduzi and Ozgur could play out.
Adem: I was going to ask you the same thing… what lure can we use to bait them… I know Kunduzi wants a piece of me…. But how can he be made to believe he can take me out.
Timur: You amaze me in that you are willing to put yourself out there even now when your about to marry Yasemin….. Why would you do that. What has she said about that?
Adem: This is my job….. when this is over I won't be doing it any longer. … What are your thoughts on the lure?
Timur: I'm thinking that Kunduzi must believe their is another shipment that he wasn't made aware of and that you know of it. He could be fooled into thinking he lost the bosses favor so the only way to get it back is to take you out. We could use Ozgur as the snitch and we could kill two birds with one stone. We need some fake audio messaging to convince them.
Let me see if we could arraigned that…. Do you have some co ordinances that they would believe.
Adem gives the Information to Rasim.
Rasim: I'm not sold on this…. Kunduzi is a small fish… could we be getting played in that Kunduzi and Ozgur get eliminated but Timur and the big fish are still in business. Timur has to come up with something the big whales will jump on and let them double cross Kunduzi and Ozgur.
Adem : I think your right Timur is trying to burn me again… What do we have on those names Timur gave us.
Rasim: These guys aren t whale material…. Timur is being straight
Adem : What charges could you come up with to put Timur away with for a couple years…. Maybe that will scare him into cooperating…. Yasemin still has all his assets and Yasemin and I are getting married so he may realize his divorce stunt is backfiring now that Yasemin is my wife… he doesn't have the funds to defend himself.
Rasim: When were you going to tell me about you and Yasemin
Adem: It happened last night. Nevin wants it.
Rasim: Lets change the game on Timur and make him the target of Kunduzi and see if he bites the bate.
Adem: Let's see who plays the best game, to get the whales to flush themselves out.
