For some reason I have Into the Unknown stuck in my head from Frozen 2. Don't tell me that hasn't happened to you too...
"What happened to you this time?" Elwin asked the minute she entered through the door to the all-to-familiar-room.
"Nothing," Sophie responded.
"Yet," Fitz added good-naturedly.
"Feels strange coming here with no problems, huh?" Elwin teased.
"I'm not coming here with no problems," Sophie replied quietly.
Fitz frowned, and gently took Sophie's hand, not missing the way she flinched at his touch.
"Sorry," Sophie apologized. "I just wasn't... Expecting it." She squeezed his hand, refusing to look up at him.
His teal eye's sparkled with emotion as he squeezed her hand back, and this time Sophie's heart didn't do the familiar cartwheels she had been expecting.
Elwin flashed his lights around her, despite her grumbled complaints. "I'm fine Elwin. I don't always end up injured!"
Elwin and Fitz laughed, and Sophie stood up, emerging from the cushioned chair she had previously sunk into. She walked quickly across the room and pushed open the curtain at the far side of room, hesitating slightly as she peeked inside.
