New Life - Episode 14
Not being together at night is becoming the most difficult for Adem and Yasemin after having their incredible night, but the Divorce won't be final for another week and the Marriage the next day with the adoption the following week. With little sleep Yasemin awakens and goes to the Guest House to get her new family ready for the day
Yasemin knocks but no one answers … she knocks again and still no answer… now she worries and calls security to open the door.
She walks in to find Adem sleeping very soundly with the biggest smile on his face… she proceeds to Ece room to see if she is awake.
Yasemin: Ece sweetheart…. Are you ready to wake up…
Ece….. somewhat startled ….. am I still in my dream .
Yasemin: What dream did you have
Ece: My dream was that you and daddy are married and you're my mommy now
Yasemin: Where you happy or sad in your dream
Ece: I was happy and sad… I was sad I couldn't see mommy, but I was happy that you're my mommy to.
Yasemin: Ece… your dream was you thinking about the changes we talked about last night…. Your Daddy and I are going to marry next week and Then we are going to adopt you ... I will be your mommy forever…. Your other mommy will still see you… today she is coming to the foundation so you will get to see her there. Do you want me to help you get dressed or is that something you like to do by yourself
Ece: Do I call you mommy
Yasemin: If you want to….. If you do it will make me very happy…. Everyone at the foundation will now know that you are my daughter…we are a family….. you me and daddy. Do want to help me wake up sleepy head daddy.
Ece: Daddy still sleeping
Yasemin: yes, daddy had a very active night, so I let him sleep a little longer
Once Ece gets dressed she rushes and jumps on her daddy who all startled makes sure that the after effects of last night isn't visible. Yasemin was in his thoughts all night
Adem: Good morning….. Did you sleep at all
Yasemin after giving Adem a morning kiss tells him to get himself ready and come join them for breakfast.
In the Kitchen Nesibe has everything prepared since it appears everyone is running late. Fatma comes in and immediately goes to Yasemin
Fatma: The look on your face last night … was it really that good
Yasemin… with a big smile… Fatma….. I can't kiss and tell
Fatma : It was that good….. I'm so happy for you
Yasemin: Have you and Gokce been taking pictures of our private moments?
Gokce walks in : You two have given us some of the most amazing pictures for the campaign… I will begin showing things today… I stayed all night putting things together
Yasemin: I hope you didn't capture those that are really private
Gokce: I kept the expressions on your faces… they were amazing
Yasemin: Am I going to regret giving you this assignment
Ece: Mommy are you going to get my school assignments today… I don't want to miss that special project
Yasemin's eye fill with tears of joy, Adem walks in and hears it and Nesibe, Fatma and Gokce are thrilled that Ece has accepted Yasemin as her mother.
Yasemin: Yes I will and I will make arraignments as to when you can go back to school.
Yasemin: Adem… until this threat is over can we send a security guard at the school or should I just get the daily assignments and keep her at the foundation.
Adem: Let's keep her at the foundation for another week… hopefully this may be over.
After Adem finishes eating breakfast, her gives his two favorite girls a kiss and heads out to Rasim to see if the night and Gokce talk made any headway with Timur.
Rasim: We've been monitoring his cell phones and it's starting to look like Ozgur is in panic mode not knowing where Timur is at …. Even his wife keeps calling
Adem: Timur did mention that he thought Ozgur was the mole that tried to sell him out to Obdullah before he was killed. ….. Do you want to have me make another stab at him to break
Rasim: It's worth a shot.
Adem : Timur I understand you wanted to see me ….. we missed you at Dinner and Breakfast
Timur: Very funny
Adem: I don't understand you….. These guys are trying to replace you and your still defending them ….. even at the expense of loosing your daughter….. You have this delusion that your going to get Yasemin back ….. your daughter will do the same. Both of those boats have sailed. Yasemin is adopting Ece next week ….. how many years have you been wanting her to have a kid… she can't wait to have kids with me. Yesterday you made it very clear to Gokce that these goons are more important than she is…. Once she left here she asked that no one mention your name ever to her. That's your choice. What did you want to ask me before I leave
Timur: I gave those names what else did you want
Adem: Don't insult us… you gave us punks… Nothing is working for you….. your going to stay behind bars for at least 10 years maybe more if we pin a murder rap on you. You set up Abdullah to be killed by Kunduzi we just have to get the tie in. But it's coming.
Timur: You know your framing me
Adem: I thought you were getting dumber by the day… but now you're seeing the picture…. You're going to pray that we keep in here because your disappearance has everyone worried that you're taking everyone down… either way you're a dead man and you did it to yourself. Ozgur is in panic mode with the number of times he's been calling you….. What are your bosses thinking that you're not responding to them. We will get them to show themselves with or without your help.
Timur: You bastard you set me up
Adem: This is payback for what you did to Yasemin
Timur: If I give you everything, what will happen to me
Adem: We've played this game with you before…. The only thing that can save you is the complete destruction of this network and then it depends on you. I want this over before Yasemin and I get married next week… this is my wedding present to her.
Timur: You love rubbing that into my face
Adem: You are insane…. You never had Yasemin…. That first hit destroyed whatever fantasy you tried to play with her. You took everything from her….. with me she is getting everything she ever dreamed of and is happier than she could've of imagined…. She is now more beautiful than ever and she is all mine.
Question for you how much do you want to save yourself… no else wants to.
Timur: Bring Rasim in… I will tell you everything.
As Timur tells Rasim and the team all the details, confirmation of each detail does occur… Timur is giving them the real information so that the trap can be set for the bosses, Kunduzi and Ozgur. Rasim informs Timur that the success of this operation depends on his eventual deal until then he needs to make sure that it is a complete success.
At the New Life Foundation several scenarios begin to reveal themselves. Yasemin wants to know what Gokce has in mind with all those pictures she has been collecting she goes to Gokce's office
Yasemin: you said you have somethings to show me
Gokce: Ever since you placed your trust in me, my mind has been racing with ideas. First let me apologize for all of us for invading you and Adem's private moments , but my ideas required certain looks that we would get if you were not aware of it. The picture your most worried about….. here it is for your private collection.
Yasemin: Have you taken pictures of everything we have done
Gokce: You two are so good together, but last night we spared you… I could only image what was involved. Yasemin closes her eyes and smiles… Back to my ideas….. The campaign I want to put together will be based on events in peoples lives that have been affected and then come to the foundation for health and support. The key words that we will be using will be….. Innocence…. Destruction… Fear… Acknowledgement…Rebuilding ….. New Life.
What I hope to achieve is to develop pamphlets and videos for each of these words….. You Yasemin have shown each and that is why the need for some of the pictures. When anyone enters our lobby we will have not only the one picture of your batter facet pictures of you in each phase of this process that helps those affected see that they can be helped… you are the living proof that it can be done and they could become better than they were before.
Yasemin: Gokce….. I don't know what to say….. You have put a great deal of thought into this ….. This is fabulous… You get the people you need and how much money you will need to accomplish it… you will unveil it at the next Summit for Abuse
Gokce: You like it
Yasemin: I love it… I just knew you could do this…. Gives Gokce a hug and kiss … I now have a meeting Berna
Gokce: Be careful of her …. Yasemin smiles
Berna: Yasemin… have I done anything to offend you… you been distance lately
Yasemin: No ….. so many changes have happened recently that my focus is on other matters
Berna: What other matters ….. can I be of help to you ….
Ece rushes in and asks: Mommy did you get my school assignments yet…. Sister Gokce promised she would help me make it special
Yasemin: No sweetheart, but I promise I will go get it as soon as I'm done with this meeting… I have a surprise for you when I get back
Berna can't believe what she just heard… how did this all come about… she knows none of it
Berna: Mommy….. isn't that the child of Nevin?… am I missing something
Yasemin: Legally ….. Ece will become my daughter and Adem's next week after we are married.
Berna: you're marrying Adem next week…. What does Timur have to say about it
Yasemin: Timur has nothing to say about it…. He has no say in my life
Berna: I thought I was your friend and you shared non of this with me.
Yasemin: Friends… really Berna… If pictures of my back could be on display how many knife wounds did you impale. You are no longer welcomed at this foundation and you are no friend of mine…. If you will excuse me I have to pick up my daughters school assignment.
Berna is shocked that Yasemin knows everything…. She calls Ozgur
Berna: Ozgur….. have you gotten in touch with Timur…. There is something that is happening and it's not good for us.
Ozgur: What are you talking about… Timur has disappeared ….. no one knows where he is at….. what do you think is happening
Berna: I came to the foundation to talk to Yasemin to see why she hasn't been telling me much…. She is marrying Adem … the bodyguard next week… his daughter is already calling her mommy and she fired me and no longer considers me a friend.
Ozgur: The BodyGuard must have Timur in custody …. This is not good for anyone
Berna: What will we do… it's time we leave
Ozgur: I'll contact Kunduzi to get in touch with the bosses so they can eliminate Timur before he gives away everything since he now has lost Yasemin forever.
As Yasemin is leaving to go to Ece's school , Nevin arrives.
Yasemin: Nevin… perfect timing…. Ece wants her assignments from school and you could provide the perfect introduction and we can explain what will be happening so no one is confused.
Nevin: Thank you for keeping me involved
Yasemin: I told you I would…. There is something I have to tell you and I don't know how it will make you feel… This morning when I went to the guest house…. Adem was sleeping in and Ece also…. When I woke her up …. She was a little startled and started talking about her dream which was a recap of what we had talked about last night… When she realized that last night was not a dream … she has been calling me mommy… so I didn't want that to be a surprise to you
Nevin: Thank you for telling me…. Once Ece loves she loves completely… this is as it should be…. She is showing her love for you…. She is your daughter and you are her mother.
Yasemin: I'm so thankful this is working out the way it is. I told Ece that I had a surprise for her when I got back , now you will be her surprise.
At the school Nevin and Yasemin explain the situation and also notify the school personal that the only people that can have access to Ece is the three of them. Under no circumstance is Ece allowed to leave with anyone one else. If the threat to Ece remains next week she will be assigned a bodyguard to watch her constantly but won't disrupt the class.
Nevin: Yasemin, once again you have shown me that I made right decision in placing Ece in your control… you will be a momma bear protecting Ece.
Yasemin: I truly do love Ece as my own. Let's surprise her with your visit at the foundation and then you can look around to see if you may like working here… I know Eceand Fatma will love showing you around.
Like everyone else the Battered Picture of Yasemin Face greets everyone as they enter the building, Nevin has the same reaction
Nevin: I had no idea how bad it was for you…. I'm so sorry that I was responsible for your last beating.
Yasemin: Nevin… that was the past…. This place is meant to rebuild and give those that have be broken a chance at a New Life…. My New Life is better than I could have imagined. Gocke is working on a campaign that will reach so many more people that we can help. Let's go to the children's play area to see Ece.
Ece sees them both and rushes to hug both of them… Fatma waves to them both since Ece remains under her watchful eye.
Ece: my friends are saying how lucky I am having two mommies
Nevin: You are very lucky sweetheart.
Yasemin: We got your school assignments, when you're finish playing you can come to the office and start working on them.
Ece: Ok , mommy
Nevin smiles at Yasemin
Yasemin: Nevin, would you like staying with the children and see how they inter act….. this play area is designed to get Children to begin to open up and become comfortable to begin playing… we have found that children can be their own helpers… then there are those that need to be watch so they are not a problem to others. It's a delicate balance and we need people that can understand it. That's why I invited you. When Ece is finished playing she and Fatma will bring you to my office and we can talk more.
Yasemin receives another call from Kunduzi
Kunduzi: Princess … you weren't very nice to me the last time… Your bodyguard is creating problems … your happy life with him may be soon over…. If you don't get him to stop.
Yasemin: Why do you keep calling me…. Adem and the task force know more about you and Adem is so much smarter than you…. Your words are meaningless… Foolish man ….. are you scared that nothing is going your way…. No one is talking to you….. is that why you keep calling me. Yasmin once again hangs up on him and calls Adem
Yasmin: Adem….. Kunduzi called me again… I think he thinks he is getting under my skin trying to worry me that he is going to do something to you. I won't admit it but I'm worried… He is crazy.
Adem: Everything is under control he is being monitored… He is panicked since Ozgur called him after Berna's call. They are worried about Timur selling everyone out… which he finally did. The trap is being put together … so don't worry …. Everything will be fine.
Yasemin: Please be careful… I love you and will see you at home.
The day ends and Yasemin asks Nevin if she wants to come back to the mansion for dinner and then tuck Ece to bed.
Nevin: thank you, but I think tonight belongs to you…. Today was a special day for you and Ece , I think you should finish it the way you started it…. You tuck in Ece… I will have more days, but today belongs to you
Yasemin: Thank you, that is so nice of you. I'll have Fatih drive you to your Aunt's… Do you want to come back tomorrow and spend a full day to see if you like it here and then we can talk about compensation.
Nevin: Yes….. but I think I will like it from what I saw today.
Adem surprises Yasemin and Ece by coming by to take them home. Fahit comes back to take Fatma and Gokce. Nesibe has dinner ready and everyone has a very enjoyable meal without any disturbance.
Yasemin completes her special day with Ece by drying her off after she takes her bath and combing her hair before bed. Ece asks for a goodnight story which Yasemin remembers from her childhood.
Ece gives Yasemin a hug and a kiss and say : Goodnight Mommy, today was a very good day…. I love you.
Yasemin is filled with emotion kisses Ece on the forehead and say: I love you very much , sweetheart… pleasant dreams.
Yasemin leaves and rushes into Adems arms all the while crying with tears of joy.
Adem: what's the matter
Yasemin: I never thought I could be this happy….. I will remember today as one of those very special days in my life.
Adem kisses her and says: I'll walk you to your room
Yasemin: I'm not leaving….. we are past that….. your bed is my bed till we die… I didn't sleep at all last night….. If Ece jumps in so be it… we are her mommy and daddy.
Adem: that's one decision I could live with… especially seeing her undress
Yasemin: Does it bother you that I won't have much on… With Timur I kept my self covered so he wouldn't get ideas…. With you I want to be ready for whatever pops up… but not tonight…. I'm to tired.
Adem smiles and pulls her close to him and kisses the back of her neck and they both fall fast asleep.
