Chapter Two-
"Sorry for the long wait" Sparrow whispered so that none of the audience would hear her, "I was schooling and dealing with life for a bit, but here's the continuation!"
Acera rolled her eyes and hit play on the episode.
{After the Opening Song. The Scene changes to the front of a large school}
Yukki (VO): This is the famous Cross Academy, a private institution where all students stay in their dormitories
{Scene Change: The Moon Dorm gate crowded with young girls, Yukki pushes through the crowd}
DC Girl 1: Hey, don't push!
DC Girl 2: What?!
{Yukki rushes up to the gate of the Moon Dorms, then stands in front of all of them with her arms stretched out on either side to prevent the Day Class girls coming through.}
Yukki (Shouting over the crowd): Okay, okay. Get Back! Day Class students aren't allowed in, so go on back to your dorms!
Zero sighed in exasperation, "everyday"
The Vampires who did not like the attention looked almost as exasperated while the ones who loved it looked excited.
DC Girl 3: You just want to monopolize everyone in the Night Class, don't you, Miss Cross?!
"Nope, she only has eyes for one of y'all" Acera smirked.
Sparrow rolled her eyes this time, "wasn't it your idea not to do spoilers?"
"You know I have a hypocrite tendency" Acera waved her off.
DC Girl 1: You may be the Headmaster's daughter, but that's not fair!
{Yukki denies the claims and shows her badge}
Yukki: That's not true! I'm from the Disciplinary Committee, so I...!
{Yukki was cut off when all of the girls rush up and tried to get passed her}
All DC Girls: Kain... Please Come Out~!
Yukki (pushing them back): You can't do that!
{The Moon Dorm Gates open as Yukki tries to push them back}
The Vampires were having a field day with this; some laughing, some sympathetic.
Yukki huffed, once again she was too late.
Yukki: Darn it! I was too late again!
{All the girls line up politely. As if they'd never tried to push against Yuki so that they could see the Night Class. Yukki is completely shocked.}
Laughter filled the room. Yukki stared just like her on-screen self.
Yukki steps to the side: You may proceed...
{As the Day Class girls are completely in awe of the Night Class, they are all lined up in front of the gate. They walk down the pavement to their class and Hanabusa decides to have a little fun with it}
Hanabusa: Good morning, ladies~. I heard you and you are so perky and cute, like always~
"Really, Hanabusa?" Kain rolled his eyes at his cousin's antics.
"Come on Akatsuki, don't be so stiff" Hanabusa replied.
{Yukki is unimpressed while the girls around her are in complete awe of him}
DC Girl 4: Oh, Idol... Aido...
{Hanabusa is having the time of his life, waving his arms around towards the girls, while Akatsuki wishes he was elsewhere}
Hanabusa: Hi~
Akatsuki: Hanabusa.
Hanabusa (glancing at him): So, what? You're so stiff, Akatsuki...
{The girls call out to Akatsuki, Hanabusa turns to them}
DC Girl 5 and 6: Wild! Kain!
{Hanabusa dramatically "Shoots" the one who called for Kain, the girl who was "shot" faints}
DC Girls (many): Shoot me, too!
{All of the girls run over to Hanabusa, making a protesting Yukki fall to the ground as Hanabusa "Shoots" at the girls who surround him}
Sparrow burst into laughter as Hanabusa on-screen yelled "Bang" over and over again.
Kaname: Yukki
Yukki: oh?
{Kaname calls out to Yukki. She turns to him see him have an outstretched hand towards her. This makes her remember the time that Kaname had saved her}
Yukki: Kaname...
Kaname (helping her up): Keep up the good work
{Kaname smiles kindly at Yuki, while she scratches her head.}
Yukki: I-It's nothing... {She then feels the deadly aura behind her from the rest of the Day Class Girls making her get up and explain to Kaname.} It's expected of me as a member of the Disciplinary Committee!
Kaname: No need to be so formal. I wish you'd relax
Yukki: Oh but... I owe you my life, Kaname
"You owe him more than that Princess" Acera murmured, her eyes narrowed.
"Relax sis" Sparrow rubbed Acera's back and the Vampire sagged in relaxation.
{He pats Yukki's head, eventually, holding her cheek.}
Kaname: Don't worry about it. It was so long ago...
{Zero snatches Kaname's hand from Yukki, preventing him from touching her}
Yukki (scrutinizingly): Zero!
Zero (in a flat but threatening voice): Class is starting, Kuran
{Kaname pulls his hand out of Zero's grip and begins to walk to class}
Kaname: What a scary... Disciplinary Committee Member
"Just you wait" one of the very protective Vampires hissed as they glared at Zero, "I will kill you and suck you dry"
Sparrow growls, "NO VIOENCE!"
The Vampire jumped and stared before huffing in irritation and looking back at the screen.
{Two DC Girls run-up to Kaname with a rose and a gift}
DC Girl 7: Kuran!
{The two girls give their gifts to him and the surrounding girls become louder}
DC Girl 7: Umm... will you accept this?
Kaname as he accepts: Thank you
{Yukki becomes slightly jealous as she watches the two students' gifts get accepted. Zero then notices the Day Class still hanging around. He gets angry at them, making them all run away in fear. Yukki's surprised with the change in demeanor.}
Zero: Just hurry up and go back to your dorms, all of you! Always raising such a racket!
Yukki as she punches Zero: You're late, so stop acting cocky, you jerk! We're from the Disciplinary Committee! Make sure you remember that!
Zero (holding Yukki's head so that she couldn't punch him): Speak for yourself! It's too obvious.
Cross smiled at the siblinglyness (Yes, I am aware that is not a word) of his adopted children.
Yukki: Huh?
Zero (lets go of Yukki and pushes her away): Whether you like that guy or not is none of my business. But I hope you realize...
Yukki (interrupting): Oh, shut up. I know that they're...
{Transitions to Kaname walking towards class with a rose in one hand and the gift under his arm}
Kaname stops: Sorry to keep you waiting, Seiren.
{Seiren jumps down from a tree and lands in front of him, she holds out a hand}
Seiren: I'll take that, Lord Kaname
Kaname hands it over: Sure
{Kaname destroys the rose with his powers, turning it from red to black in only moments. They both (Kaname and Seiren) walk to class, with the dead, rose petals flying through the air and Seiren now holding the gift that was given to Kaname.}
Yukki (VO)… that they're different from us. I know that.
Yukki looked down, she did know that and it ate away at her for these last couple of years.
{The ribbon, that was around the rose, also flies through the air, signaling the change in time. The ribbon flies through the air, passing by a lit lantern and the scene changes to that of the Night Class's classroom.}
Vampire Teacher: The effectiveness of the Blood Tablet, which the Night Class developed, has been accepted worldwide. All of you are the pride of this school, of the people of the night.
{The scene changes to focus closer on Hanabusa, Kaname (who is sitting in a chair, reading a book close to the window), Takuma (who is standing to the left of Kaname and is leaning against the wall), Akatsuki and Ruka (who are sitting next to each other)}
Ruka: It's no big deal
Takuma: That was just a group study
Hanabusa (He's angrily crossing out a drawing of Zero in his notebook): That Zero Kiryu really irritates me. Just who does he think he is?! Grabbing Dorm President Kuran by the arm like that!
Ruka stealing the book to inspect it: Oh, you sound like someone in love
"Disgusting!" both Zero and Hanabusa yelled.
Hanabusa (angry at the claim): As If! If I could, I'd like to kill that Disciplinary Committee member with my own hands!
Senri looks up at the ceiling in thought: oh, but that girl, Yukki... looks yummy
{The claim causes Kaname to stop mid-turn in his pages, and makes the rest of the Night Class mutter amongst themselves. Takuma calls out to Shiki.}
Takuma: Shiki
Senri looks over like he didn't do anything wrong: Hmm?
Rima: Here, food
{Rima gives a couple of blood tablets to Shiki as he eats them like a shark. Kaname closes his book and gets up, looking out the window.}
Ruka: You seem awfully interested in her, Lord Kaname
Kaname: I guess you could say that
{Both Hanabusa and Ruka look at Kaname, in forlorn. However, to keep her temper in check, she places the notebook in her hand back onto the table. What she doesn't know is by doing so she's actually hurting Hanabusa.}
Hanabusa: Oww, Oww... OWW!
Ruka chortled.
Hanabusa glared at her.
{Hanabusa flings the book off his hand and threatens Ruka}
Hanabusa: Ruka, I'll kill you!
Their roles reversed.
Kaname (speaking up to stop the fight): the moon is going into hiding
{The camera shows the moon beginning to hide behind the clouds}
Takuma: Right. Now, it's our time
Zero bristled. He had a bad feeling.
{The lanterns within the classroom go out and we are shown Kaname's red eyes}
Kaname: It is the "Night of Vampires"
Yukki (VO): Creatures born from legend, who hide in the darkness... Their existence is the secret we must protect
{All the vampires within the classroom have turned their eyes red.}
"If Yukki wasn't a main character, I think I'd like the show a lot more" Sparrow off-hand commented.
Acera nodded as she suckled on her blood bottle.
