Chapter 3-
{As Yukki "talks", we are shown that all the vampires within the classroom have turned their eyes red. We are then shown the corridor before going into the Headmaster's office and we immediately focus on Zero.}
Zero: I can't accept this
{Yukki sighs in exhaustion}
Zero (CON.): Is it our duty to act as security guards, waiting for the arrival of celebrities, Headmaster?! [He lightly punches the desk.]
Headmaster: No, I realize it's very hard on you night after night.
Zero: [He has blue lines rising above him as he tries to make his point.] If you know that, then increase the number of the Disciplinary Committee! [He points to Yukki.] She's totally useless.
"Hey!" Yukki gave him an offended look and Zero rolled his eyes.
Yukki: [She gets angry.] I don't want to hear this from someone who's habitually late!
Yukki nodded, agreeing with her on-screen self.
Headmaster: [He has a serious demeanor around him.] That's impossible. [His personality takes a complete 180. From being serious to being an airhead.] I mean, their identities are a secret. [The background changes behind him, from his office to an animation of the school.] This academy is divided into the Day Class and the Night Class. [He leaves the animation.] The truth about the Night Class must be hidden from the Day Class, and they must coexist. [He's now seen at his desk, being happy serious again.] That is the critical duty of the Guardians. And I can't entrust it to anyone but you two.
The Night Children were grateful for that, the last thing they wanted was attention from more people. Well... maybe Hanabusa was fine with it.
{Yukki nods in determination, while Zero sighs in a way that he's giving up on asking again.}
Headmaster: You're on duty all night and people resent you. I know, it's a thankless job. [He changes from appreciative to happy within a second. And at the end of his speech, he holds his cheeks together, trying to look "cute".] But if I leave it to my dear son and loving daughter, I won't need to feel guilty about it!
Zero glared, "I don't remember becoming your son"
The Headmaster pouted.
Zero: [He hits the desk in anger, making it split into two. And while He's angry, the Headmaster's scared and Yukki's at a loss of what to do.] I admit I'm obligated to you! But I don't ever remember becoming your son!
Headmaster: [Anime tears fall down his face, as he places a finger to his lips, and is holding a mug in his right hand.] Kiryu, you're such a stickler for details.
Zero growled, scaring his "Father".
Zero: Yukki, you're his real daughter. Say something.
Yukki: [She places a hand on her head as she tries to think of something to say.] Huh? Well, I think the Night Class is getting along with the Day Class. I'm quite happy to be of help.
{Yukki smiles at Zero, while he looks at her with the same blank face he carries all the time. The camera turns to the Headmaster as full-on anime tears fall from his face.}
Headmaster: Oh, you're such a good girl! How happy you make me!
{The Headmaster leaps and tries to hug Yukki, but she steps back as he lands on his desk.}
Yukki: headmaster...
Headmaster: Call me "Dad"
{A "river" of tears fall down onto the ground (from the Headmaster) as a sad, tiny violin plays in the background.}
Everyone was either done with Headmaster's childishness or amused by it.
Yukki: Head... Dad
Laughter filled the room when they saw how uncomfortable Yukki was. Kaname smiled slightly at the sweet girl.
Headmaster: [He gets up and begins his speech with a planet background behind him.] Ah... The only one who understands my pacifist ideals is you, Yukki. I... I want to put an end to the long, dark history of vampires and humans! And I want the youth with their open hearts and sharp intelligence to bridge the gap and bring harmony to the two races! [The Headmaster leaps dramatically to the left of the screen, and again to the right.] That is the purpose of this education of the Night Class!
Zero gets irritated and leaves the two behind: I can't take this.
"Me either, future me" Zero huffed, rolling his eyes at the speech he had heard many times before.
Yukki: Zero! Gone again
Headmaster: [He looks serious as he speaks. Yukki holds a shocked face that turns into one of determination.] Well, I understand how Kiryu feels. There's no denying that among the vampires there exist blood-sucking demons that prey on humans.
Yukki: [She slams her hands onto the desk, fixing it from Zero's destruction and surprising the Headmaster with the fixed desk.] Well, Kaname is different! There are other vampires like him who believe in what's right. So, your pacifist ideology will work!
Headmaster: Yukki... [The Headmaster tries to hug Yukki but she moves towards the window, opening it.] Again?
More laughter and snickering.
Yukki: [She jumps out the window, while the Headmaster has anime tears dripping down his face again.] So, you just leave it to us Guardians, Headmaster! I'm off!
Headmaster: It's "Dad"
{Yukki lands on the ground with a tired face which turns into determination as she runs off around the school. During the internal monologue, we see Yukki running in a snowy forest with the slanted, white tree. Pictures fall down the screen inside little snowflakes, like Kaname rescuing Yukki and patting her head, Kaname and Yukki turning up on the Headmaster's doorstep and the Headmaster (seemingly) looking down at Yukki. Moments of Yukki flash in the background as Yukki continues to run. These include, when Yukki was little, Kaname walking in the snow and Yukki staring up at Kaname.}
Yukki (Thinking): I have no memories of anything before I was five years old. On that snowy night, Kaname brought me to the house of his acquaintance, Headmaster Cross. And without knowing anything about me, he took me in. I could not be here today without Kaname. All that happened during that incident ten years ago marked the start of my life. Yes... Kaname is my beginning.
Acera leaned over to Sparrow, "I wonder if anything would change if Yukki was an actual human in this"
"Yeah, she would be more annoying" Sparrow replied.
Acera snickered.
{Yukki runs to the wall to take a breath and as she's thinking, she grabs her neck. Almost as if she has a dry throat and needs a drink of water. Takuma and Kaname walk up from behind, surprising her.}
Takuma: Oh, Hi!
Yukki: Oh!
Takuma: Thanks for patrolling the area
{Flustered, Yukki quickly bows to both Kaname and Takuma before running off into the night.}
"There is no need to be flustered, Yukki" Takuma smiled kindly to her and she smiled back.
Takuma: Yukki is interesting, isn't she? There aren't girls like her type in the Night Class.
Kaname: No... To someone who is used to the dark... [Kaname's eyes glow red before he walks away from Takuma.] She's a blinding sight.
Takuma: Everyone likes living here.
{Kaname stops walking}
Takuma (CON.): But don't forget... Because of orders from you, a Pureblood, we are abiding the rules of the humans, but just barely.
Kaname: I know that, Ichijou
{Kaname continues to walk away, while Takuma sighs in exhaustion. The scene changes to Yukki duking her head into the flow of the fountain.}
"You know, there's showers for that... right?" Acera asked the girl and she blushed.
Yukki (thinking): He's different. The world he lives in, the things he sees...
{Yukki takes her head out of the stream, then slaps her cheeks.}
Yukki: Refreshed!
"Are you a plant?" Sparrow questioned, truly looking confused.
"N-No!"
"Okay then"
{Yukki rushes off the right. The direction of the camera changes to show Zero sitting on the grass with his head down. He brings his hand to his head, covering his right eye, as if he is struggling with a type of pain. His left eye pulsates red, making the background go black and Zero's body blurry on camera. He brings his hand down to his neck, before reaching into his jacket pocket. He then drops a container, with the symbol of the Cross Academy logo printed on the front, and tablets onto spill onto the floor. As Zero's heard in the background to be struggling.}
Zero ignored the worried and curious looks he was getting.

"NEXT EPISODE WILL BEGIN SHORTLY" Popped up on the screen as both the hosts disappeared.
