Chapter 2
"Professor Rowan's lab, Sandgem Town"
I had a hard time choosing between piplup or chimchar, but in the end I chose chimchar who I nicknamed Ember.
"Then I'm choosing piplup." said Roy.
"Well then, Now that you've chosen your starters here are their pokeballs along with your pokedex and pokeballs." said Professor Rowan.
"Thanks." me and Roy replied back before leaving.
"Sandgem town, outside the lab."
"Hey Venus, want to check out Lake Verity before going our separate ways?"
"Sure."
"Lake Verity."
While at the Lake, we came across a suspicious man with blue spiky hair who called himself Cyrus. It seemed like he was talking to the legendary pokemon of the lake, a bit weird and suspicious.
"Verity Lakefront"
After our visit to Lake Verity, me and Roy went our separate ways on our Pokemon adventures.
"Route 202"
While on Route 202 I caught a female shinx, who I nicknamed Cleo. I then continued on to Jubilife City.
"Jubilife City"
While at Jubilife, I came across a peculiar man in a trench coat, who claimed to be a member of the International Police. (I wonder if he knows anything about my dad or brother?) He said his code name is Looker, and that there are criminals here in Sinnoh, stealing the pokemon of others.
After that weird encounter, I continued on my way through Jubilife City, where I bought myself a poketch.
"Route 203"
On Route 203 I met up with Roy, and had a battle.
"What, I lost?! But I trained so hard." exclaimed Roy.
"You were still pretty strong."
"Well I'm going to get even stronger and then I'll be the victor. I'm going to go train for the Oreburgh Gym. So see you around."
"Same here."
We then shook on it and Roy went running off.
"Oreburgh City"
After training on Route 203 I went through Oreburgh Gate and arrived at Oreburgh City.
