'Hazel, we didn't want to have to say this- to tell you but,' he exhaled and dragged a heavy hand through his hair, eyes closed. Shook his head as he caught her eye. Her brow scrunches, a tilt to her lips, hand halfway up in a 'one moment' signal. She huffs a laugh and scratches her forehead instead.
A moment passes then, shrugs. 'I, kind of figured,' she finally admits.
Green eyes stare at the brunette. Asks her, 'How?'
She simply gestures at the mess of clawed up pillows and metallic and brown-white feathers in the corner of the room.
Head tilting with narrowed eyes, he stuck out his open palms.
She gestures for him to carry on, 'I'm not psychic, y'know.'
Her friend full-bodied twitched as he finally caught onto the implications.
'And you just let them?!' he yells. She seems more taken aback at his yelling than accusations.
'Yes..? I wasn't about to get in between that, Green. D'you know what they'd've done? They'd already gotten the rest of my team to keep me from interfering! And then they'd've Pecked the berries outta me!' she explained.
Green groaned her name and, before he could even lament how she even became a trainer in the first place, a raven-haired man walks into the room carrying an egg covered in a pikachu blanket.
'This. This is now your responsibility,' green hisses. She glances between the egg in Red's arms and Green's furious expression. '...So. Red. Want it? Either a skarmory or a pidgey.' The raven-haired male thought for a bit before agreeing and sitting next to Hazel on the couch to show her the egg.
