3rd POV

The corridor of the dungeon overran with moss and vines creeping along its walls. Roots of ancient trees protruding through the walls of the eerie corridor. Dark amd damp with the noise of rats scurrying about on the floor near the walls. One lone rat stop as its friends scurried on ahead. Looking on a door behind him. Thick and enormous even for humans let alone the small rat. Inching closer to the door as faint sounds of breathing and whispers could be heard from beyond the door.

It seems to be a conversation between two persona but oddly only one voice, a hoarse voice from a man with sore throat, could be heard. It began to inch closer and closer and found an opening beside a door perfectly cut for entry only for rats and small rodent. The air pungent and damp as sound of water dripping from a stalactite and onto the floor forming its twin the stalagmite. The rat looking around squeaking to see the man in that cell. It then realise the whispers he heard earlier stopped. Panicking, it ran back to the door earlier. Suddenly an instinct told it to stop and stop he did as a pair of eyes look at it half lidded as if just have been woken up. " Get out... now..." the man says to the small creature.

It slowly approach the door and ran quickly after he heard a quite giggle from the cell. Then it broke to laughter. A hearty laugh untill it suddenly stop and whispered..." you know what... He said nothing must know where I am and nothing means not even a rat...". The rat felt its heart beating as loudly and fast as possible be natures law and feeling its body heat up. Legs supporting the quadrupadle rodent give out as heat from its legs dissipating and its mind turned dark. *POP*, the corridor echoed the sound through its forgotten chambers. Giggles and slaps on the ground by the man in the cell echoed , accompanying the popping sound of a rat exploding.

"Hurray! Now you're one of his citizens, that means we can have a little chat now!" The pitiful dead creature on the floor twitched and snaps as it reassemble itself. Slowly the rodent's remains begin to clump together and form a ball of fur and blood and muscle and not forgetting the organs mushed and formed a rat with something missing... The eyes of the rat missing leaving a hole in its skull. The legs of the rat started moving and bee-lined to the door. " Alright...hmmm... Roy! You'll be called Roy. You'll sit beside my other friends and your soon friends too!" The rat walked to a corner of the pungent cell and sat beside its lost and dead family.

" Heheh... now now guys... We have a new member of the family, so that means introducing each other!" silence loomed over the so called 'family gathering' and laughing came from the man, now clearly visible to have shackles on his hands and legs. The shackles thick and heavy, something used to hold anchors on cargo ships on earth. The material of the shackle seem to look like metal but obviously heavier. " Oh this? Well this is just neutron-star metal. The densest metal on universe. Oh is it my turn? Well my name is-" the man stopped talking as he tried to remember his name and suddenly the man's facial expression turned sour and outright mad." you wanna know my origin?" said the man with a tone that could curdle milk with just a sound. "Fine... ill tell you the story if I remember."

3rd POV

Thunders without lightning boomed throughout the landscape hitting heaven knows where. Rubbles of a ruined castle scattered on the ground. Parts of the castle could still be seen for example the towers but even then the towers are half collapsed. Bodies of knights and monsters laid out on the carpet soaked with pools of blood and combined with the heavy falling rain. Sobs could be heard in the ruins and there a being that sat on a throne could be seen but the sobs doesn't belong to it, instead it belongs to the boy on the floor in front of him. On all fours kneeling head looking up. " Y-you will?" asked the boy through his relentless sobs. " Yes mortal. You've proven to past the elimination qualifications to be my tool. Now you must past these trials I'll be tasking you to finish." The boy listening to his words closely and attentively, sobs from him stopped as he was presented with a chance to get her back.

"You simply have to survive in a dimension." smiled the deity with one would call an evil grin. Slowly the boy stood up shakily as he walked towards the nearest body with a sword protruding its cold bloodied body. The sword has the regular butterfly crest on its hilt, the design common for soldiers of the butterfly family knights. As he bent down to get the armor from the knight the man on the throne spoke, "I said I'll be sending you to the trials. Not your primitive toys" Suddenly without a moment after the man finished his sentence the boys eyes immediately turned black matching rhe sky and fell onto the cold and wet stone ground*THUMP*, limp on the floor as the deity grinned. "Do you have to do that brother?" came a voice in the winds calling to the deity on the throne." You could be a bit nicer to the mortal... you do remember what Manteio said right? He said that this mor-" " Yes yes I remember... but i just have to do it. I know I'm fucked once he become my superior but... ahhh I just have to. He's so week and sk easy right now to just-" " He'll kill you the first chance he can brother. Don't tempt him more." " Alright alright... I'll be serious... hahhh... alright Doúlos come and bring him to the trials." said the deity commandingly to the sky and after a few seconds pass a voice creaked hoarsely like someone with a sore throat tried to say " Yes master... I shall ... perform immediately" 'I'm fucked once he rise... eh fuck it just like Eftychía once said, live the current to the fullest and forget what Manteio spiel of the future! ' laughed the deity internally. With a wave of Doúlos' hands a portal ripped and filling the dark and silent night. He immediately carried the boy through the portal and carefully placing him down inside damp hole of a tree. Carefully backing away and covering the entrance of the small nest he made with the boy as the egg. With a haste he returned back to the home dimension as he place a small piece of paper that the previous God's sister asked him to. As the boy slept there soundly and limped the forest around him seemed to sang a lullaby of crickets and hoots of the nature.

The boy lay still and peacefully inside the hollow tree as the earth under him started shacking. Slowly the earth started shaking violently together with the thumps coming from outside the tree. The boy then slowly opened his eyes and slowly woke up from his quick nap. Without warning the tree that shields the boy from the elements of nature broke into millions of splinters as a four legged beast smash right through it enough to shock the boy to his senses as he swiftly ducked and curled into a ball. After what seems to be minutes of staying still and bracing for impact, it subsided and the boy looked around to assess the situation. The sky of this dimension is grey as the only source of light is the sun shining along with what seems to be a planet. The planet is close enough to be able to see its weather from down here. "Where am I?" said the boy when he immediately looked down to see a piece of paper written on it.

Dear human,

if you have awoken then pls quickly find a different shelter as I'm certain that Doulos would probably just drop you in the most convenient place possible. The dimension you are currently in is called Skia which is home for most demons. To cut to the chase, your first trial will be slaying the dragon on the top of Mount Kakos. After two years of slaying the dragon, you are to make contact with my brother.

Good luck and see you soon.

The neat cursive handwriting of the letter gave it a certain elegance as it reminded him of his beloved Jackie. 'Alright the first thing to do is to secure shelter and food ' . He remembered the lesson his father taught him that whenever you're stranded, you must secure necessities and secondly, information on the surroundings. A rustle from the bush made Marco tense as he avoided an arrow to his neck. He turned to see the source of danger as he saw a 3 foot beast that looks similar with a wolf from earth with the only noticable difference is it's tail that seems to be made from a hard thorn. Now that he think about it, the arrow was actually a quill, a large one at that. The beast immediately flicked its tail and a flurry of quills came flying towards him as fast as arrows. Marco dodged the quills by sidestepping them in the nick of time, untill he saw a piece of wood that could potentially be a shield that is before it was shattered into splinters when the wolf shot a projectile towards it. ' This beast is playing with me. I gotta escape somehow' . That's when marco realised the wolf had no eyes instead its smooth on the parts of where the eyes should've been. 'If it doesn't have eyes that must mean it catches prey with its other senses'. Marco quickly ran away from it, heading towards the undisturbed part of the forest. With every passing second he realizes his mistake on running on this direction as he saw the edge of the cliff, or was it? Gathering his courage he immediately jumped off the cliff hoping he could jump across but sadly the hands of gate is cruel as he fell straight down. Above him he saw the gigantic wolf stopped and slowly shrink as he kept falling.'Guess I'll die today. Sorry Jackie... I hope you forgive me after-' *splash* as he fell into the dinner. Current at strong as the winds on mountain tops, it quickly carried him without giving him any time to react and knock him with a rock and rendering him unconscious as he was being carried downstream.

cough cough* "What the hell..." he groggily spouted. In front of him stood a hut that looks as if it was abandoned.
