Before everyone knew it the rest of the month had passed them by in a blur and for the third time Sakura and Karin were stood before Leafs leader, a list of the amount of missions the girls had undertaken in the time they'd been reassigned as teammates on his desk in front of him.
Positive feedback from the clients made him grudgingly agree that the two were better together than apart "And as such you will remain as a duo team and be allowed to continue as you have been the past few weeks" Hiruzen sighed.
"Thank you Hokage-sama" Sakura bowed, having calmed down massively, there were no more shows of temper, which made him realize that maybe now was the time to mention something that really needed to be addressed.
Since Asuma had brought it up "Don't mention it Sakura, one more thing before you leave, I believe these belong to you" the Hokage waved her off before rifling around in his desk for a scroll that had things that should be returned to Sakura.
Who took the scroll in confusion and after bowing again left with Karin on her heels "What do you suppose it is Sakura-chan" Karin questioned as they arrived at the greenhouse so that Sakura could do her two hours for the day.
As curious as Sakura was though she stowed the scroll away and focused on tending to the plants that she was in charge of, meanwhile on the other side of the village, Fugaku had received a missive from the Hokage about their progress and was pleased by it.
Because it meant that both kunoichi had surpassed his expectations and now he could move ahead with his plans that involved the girls in question "Father, Otouto mentioned that Naruto might start complaining about wanting a higher ranked mission soon" Itachi said.
Appearing in a flurry of crow feathers in his father's office "Of course, hmm I might have an idea in case that does happen" Fugaku mused as the idea popped into his head, which meant he would have to make another trip to the tower.
Itachi while confused merely watched his father leave "Dare I ask what brings you to my office this time Fugaku" Hiruzen asked not sure if he was going to like what came out of the mans mouth this time.
Fugaku smirked "As Team Thirteens unofficial sensei since they gave themselves a number and don't realize I'm actually observing their training sessions I request that any C rank missions that Team Seven might be assigned to that Team Thirteen goes along with them" Fugaku requested.
Hiruzen blinked at the fairly benign request "And what makes you think Team Seven is going on any C ranked missions so soon after becoming genin" Hiruzen countered though he did understand why Fugaku would ask such a thing.
"You can't tell me that if the Uzumaki boy whined to you about wanting a better mission that you won't cave almost immediately to his demands hence I'm making preparations ahead of time" Fugaku snorted damn near rolling his eyes.
And only just suppressing the urge as Hiruzen sighed realizing the Uchiha Patriarch was right, he was soft on Naruto "I see your point, very well Team Thirteen will go along on any C ranked or higher missions at your request" Hiruzen relented.
Glad that it wasn't something like before, business taken care of Fugaku left and returned to the compound and a few days later like Sasuke had predicted Naruto whined to the Hokage and got Team Seven a C ranked mission.
"On one condition, Team Thirteen goes along with you, they have experience in the field as medics so if something goes wrong they will be able to heal any of you and the client in case one of you gets injured" Hiruzen comprised.
Remembering the promise he'd made Fugaku, Kakashi however didn't look like he was happy in the least "Are you sure that's a wise idea Hokage-sama" Kakashi frowned visibly even with his mask on his frown was noticeable.
Hiruzen nodded "This is a request from their unofficial Jonin who would like to remain anonymous until Sakura and Karin are ready, so before you meet your client, those girls need to be summoned so I can inform them of their mission with you" Hiruzen announced.
Writing a missive to send off with a Chunin and nine minutes later the kunoichi of Team Thirteen were stood in front of him, Naruto nearly lunged to hug Sakura but Sasuke held the blonde back by the collar of the orange monstrosity he liked to wear.
Sakura didn't so much as glance in Naruto's direction "You summoned us Hokage-sama" Karin asked, a little annoyed that they were being called in on their decided day off not that anyone really knew it anyway.
"Correct, Team Thirteen consisting of Sakura Haruno and Karin Haruno/Uzumaki you will be accompanying Team Seven on their C ranked mission to the Land of Waves to protect the client from bandits and keep watch over him as he finishes his bridge" Hiruzen informed.
Karin straightened and Sakura suppressed the urge to flinch "When do we meet the client, how long do we have to prepare for the mission and how long will we be gone" Sakura questioned asking all the right questions.
Pleased that they were making it easier on him "Meet the bridge builder Tazuna" Hiruzen called out and a door off to the side swung open to admit a tall elderly man into the office, who was drinking from a bottle and clearly drunk.
Naruto was excited for all of three seconds until Tazuna managed to not only insult him but the rest of them as well "We can't hit the client Naruto" Kakashi scolded, making an attempt to reign in his student.
Who tried to charge Tazuna fists swinging not that Tazuna cared a lick as he informed them that he wanted to leave in a couple of hours so that answered another of Sakura's questions as the five of them were dismissed to prepare for their month long mission.
That Hiruzen hoped went well with nothing going wrong "Ugh why did it have to be them" Sakura groaned the moment they were in the safety of their apartment that they were seriously contemplating moving out of very soon.
Considering there was the option of moving into her old house which was much roomier "There, there Sakura-chan, at the very least Kakashi-sensei can't order us around since we're only accompanying him and his students" Karin snickered.
Earning a half-hearted glare as Sakura extracted her beige backpack from the closet followed by Karin's dark purple one "I'm sure I don't need to tell you what to pack, but I will ask that you try to sense out one of Team Ten's chakra in the meantime" Sakura asked.
Thankfully Karin shook her head merely grabbed her pack and disappeared into her small room to pack everything that she would need for the mission, followed by a pit stop in the bathroom for her toiletries.
"Located Choji's chakra if your ready Sakura" Karin informed when they met back up in the living room, her fans attached to the belt around her waist and Sakura's boomerang that nearly dragged the ground hooked onto the custom made harness.
Sakura smiled then led the way downstairs to the complex managers office to leave some money with the manager to cover their rent since they would be gone an entire month and then on down the streets to where Choji's chakra was.
He was with his team and sensei in the middle of a d rank mission "I'm sorry for bothering you while your busy but we were assigned a C rank mission with Team Seven for a month and I don't want to leave without letting your Father know that I won't be able to come in" Sakura explained.
Apologizing in the same breath to Choji "I'll let him know then Sakura" Choji assured, relieved that Sakura was responsible enough to let them know that she wouldn't be able to work in the greenhouse for a month.
With that she and Karin waved and hurried towards the gates where they found Tazuna waiting while Team Seven hadn't showed up yet "Wonder if he'll be late" Karin commented, remembering all the complaining Sakura had done about Kakashi.
It was his constant lateness that had really pissed Sakura off who lived a day to day structured schedule "Just don't Karin-chan I really don't want to sit here and think about how long he'll keep us waiting" Sakura grimaced.
Tazuna ignored their strange conversation a few minutes later Naruto came bounding towards them "Sakura-chan" Naruto yelled intent clear as he lunged attempting to hug the pinkette who dodged and glared at him.
"I thought we talked about this Naruto, respect my personal space by trying to not accost me at every opportunity" Sakura rolled her eyes not amused in the least that Naruto still hadn't learned to calm down in the time she'd been removed from his team.
Naruto pouted and sulked "But you let Ino hug you all the time, why does that Shrieking Banshee get to hug you when I don't" Naruto whined simply incapable of understanding when he shouldn't cross boundaries.
Sakura took a deep breath "Ino at the very least understands how to respect my personal space, it's a quick hug, I can't stand suffocating hugs like the ones you try to force on me" Sakura explained not sure why she was even trying with the blonde.
Who knit his brows together in confusion "How can you not like hugs, everybody does" Naruto argued back, Sakura threw her hands in the air and marched towards the other side of the huge gates away from him.
Because she was tired of trying to explain to him the concept of personal space when he wasn't even bothering to try and understand "Why did the Hokage think this was a good idea again" Karin grimaced, a little irritated herself at the blondes obnoxious whining and childishness.
As he continued to make a fuss the rest of the time they were waiting for Sasuke and Kakashi to show up so that they could start their mission, thankfully for once Kakashi wasn't late as he and Sasuke showed up at exactly the same time.
Prompting the six of them to sign out and start walking down the path in the direction of Nami no Kuni "Say Kakashi-sensei how long is it going to take us to get to our destination" Naruto asked/more like whined three hours later.
Not even halfway through their journey and Sakura prayed for patience "Who knows Naruto-kun" Kakashi answered in a nonchalant tone, as he kept his nose buried in that hideous orange book that Sakura really wanted to snatch and burn to ashes.
For the following two hours Karin found her own patience tested when Naruto acted ridiculously until Kakashi finally allowed for a quick break "I think we're gonna go scout ahead since we're not all that tired yet" Karin declared quickly.
Grabbing Sakura's hand and breaking into a run "Thank kami you said something I was about to punch Naruto if he didn't shut up" Sakura breathed when Karin slowed to a normal walk six minutes later.
Once there was quite a distance between them and Team Seven "Kami no wonder you were a ball of anger during that week if that's what you had to put up with and don't think I didn't see him reading that smut" Karin groaned.
"It would be the first book I've ever wanted to set on fire just to see it gladly burn into a pile of ashes" Sakura admitted before focusing on her surroundings as they walked down the road just the two of them for an hour longer.
Before stopping to eat a late lunch, they did wait for a bit to see if Team Seven and their client would catch up but after twenty minutes simply continued walking, about two hours later Karin briefly tensed "Two strong chakra ahead of us most likely Chunin" Karin informed.
Sakura bit her lip "Lets keep walking, it could be a trap I could be wrong since this is just suppose to be a C ranked mission so why would ninja be after Tazuna-san" Sakura frowned laughing off her unease as they continued forward.
Until they passed by a puddle, it was blatantly obvious and Sakura wanted to scream in frustration "Might as well come out, we know your there you two" Karin demanded when Sakura stopped, indicating that it was best to deal with them before they could ambush the group behind them.
The response was immediate as two familiar rogues that Sakura recognized as the Demon Brothers from the bingo book launched themselves from the puddle at her first, hurling a barbed chain that gleamed with a purplish liquid.
Which meant the chain was poisoned, highly doubting it was an uncommon or rare poison Sakura grabbed the chain boldly and with a smirk heaved Gozu towards her prompting Mizu to detach from the chain as his brother was thrown up into the air.
Then yanked back down to hit the ground with a jarring thud knocking Gozu unconscious while Karin waved one of her fans to unleash a barrage senbon that were dipped in paralysis poison taking out Mizu.
With that the Demon Brothers were taken care of "Reckless" Karin scolded as Sakura took a pill that was an antidote to all the common poisons, poured water over her hand where the barbed chain had dug in then healed her injury.
"Eh it was better to take them out quickly so that we can tie them up and interrogate them, I want to make absolutely sure that Tazuna was their initial target before we backtrack and meet up with those guys again to find out the truth" Sakura shrugged.
So after Karin had collected all of her throwing needles Gozu and Mizu were tied to a tree where Gozu was woken up with a jolt of chakra from Sakura "Answer our questions and we'll let you go, refuse and you die where you sit" Sakura said.
Brandishing a kunai in Gozu's face "You and I both know girly that you won't let us go regardless if we answer your questions or not but go on ask and we'll tell you since you defeated us, its your reward you could say" Gozu commented.
Karin clenched her hands into fists "Is Tazuna the one you were sent after" Sakura asked, not confirming Gozu's suspicions of how she had no intention of releasing him and his brother to carry out their mission.
Gozu grunted in an affirmative way "Who sent you" Karin inquired next knowing those two were the most important questions, intent on completing her own mission with as little problems as she possibly could.
"Zabuza Momochi, he's ahead of you and not so easy to beat girly, now put us out of our misery" Mizu was the one to answer, finally shaking off the paralysis poison, Sakura nodded and before she could chicken out.
Flashed through hand signs and focused her chakra until her hands glowed with a dark blue chakra then quickly used the chakra scalpel to cut their brain stems at the base of their necks "Don't look away Karin-chan, they did their duty and failed at it" Sakura lectured.
When she caught Karin looking away "At least you granted them a merciful and quick death" Karin exhaled on a shaky breath, knowing that was all Sakura could do really, it still didn't make it any easier that they were basically trained killers despite their age.
Sakura nodded quietly "The Demon of Hidden Mist won't be as easy though so we should wait here for them to catch up and explain the situation" Sakura informed as she sealed the Demon Brothers into a scroll to possibly cash in on their bounties later or send them back to their village.
With that the two kunoichi sat beneath a different tree facing the road and waited for two hours before Kakashi came into view "I thought you said you two were going to scout ahead, which I thought would mean we wouldn't see each other until we reached Tazuna's village" Kakashi said.
Looking around the area as he did so "We did Kakashi-sensei so my question is for you Tazuna-san, why would the Demon of the Hidden Mist Village be after you" Sakura turned glaring viridian orbs on the client.
"Demon of the Mist Village who the heck are you talking about Sakura-chan" Naruto frowned in confusion not catching in the least that this seemingly simple C rank mission was about to rise in rank because Tazuna had lied.
His sensei knew however and that's all that was needed "Please tell me you didn't face him" Kakashi pleaded unlike himself but he didn't see any injuries on the girls, in fact they were just fine it seemed like to him.
Thankfully Sakura shook her head "No just his subordinates the Demon Brothers, their bodies are here if you want to make sure" the pinkette informed as she handed over a scroll, Kakashi took it and deliberately ignored Sasuke's horrified spluttering.
As he headed off to make sure his former student had misidentified only to come back five minutes later and pin a glaring charcoal orb on Tazuna "Why is Zabuza after you, better yet why would any ninja be after you on a simple C rank" Kakashi demanded of Tazuna.
Tazuna was clearly nervous now that his lie had been outed and quickly babbled the truth "I for one think we can continue the mission especially if those two can take out two Chunin level rogues by themselves" Sasuke commented.
"You think this is a game do you Sasuke-san, we're talking about peoples lives here, mine and Sakura's and all of yours" Karin rounded on the arrogant Uchiha, Sakura put a restraining hand on her shoulder in response.
Then shook her head, Karin deflated "Unfortunately Karin-chan is right, it would be better to turn around and go back to the village, this mission right now is currently classified as a B with the potential to become A ranked" Kakashi announced.
Naruto didn't to well to the possibility of abandoning the mission he'd wanted so badly "Nu-uh no way Kakashi-sensei we're not leaving old man Tazuna" Naruto refused stubbornly, arguing until he was practically blue in the face before Kakashi relented to continue the mission.
Most likely just to shut the annoying blonde up "So what are we going to do then, surely not expose Tazuna-san though he would deserve it for lying to Zabuza Momochi" Sakura inquired, thinking that Naruto was completely idiotic at this point.
"Guess my Father was right Kumo-nin really are heartless and Leaf Shinobi hating bastards if you don't even care that someone might die" Sasuke scoffed under his breath, irritated that the girls seemed to be leagues ahead of him.
Sakura rolled her eyes "Real mature Sasuke just because we're trying to figure out a way not to end up dead doesn't mean we're heartless and if we hated leaf shinobi so much then tell me why are we here when we could have refused to come along this mission" Sakura scoffed back.
Kakashi recognizing that the problem wasn't Sakura but Sasuke's mouth this time quickly scuffed his student over the head "Enough, Sakura-chan is right, Tazuna shouldn't have lied to us, we're all in danger including them" Kakashi scolded.
"I might have an idea" Karin chimed in "Deceiving Zabuza by pretending to be civilians simply passing through the area might be our only chance for you to sneak Tazuna-san around without having to fight at first until he's secure in a safe place" Karin suggested.
Once everyone was looking at her "There's no way you'll manage that, suppressing your chakra is one of the hardest things to do" Sasuke sneered, Kakashi whacked him on the head with his book this time.
While Karin grabbed Sakura's hand which had clenched tightly into a fist "I swear to kami Sasuke I will punch you out if you don't stop insulting me and my sister" Sakura snarled unable to curb her temper this time.
"Leave things to us Kakashi-sensei, we'll do our part you just do yours in keeping Tazuna-san safe" Karin interjected before hastily pulling Sakura on down the path away from Team Seven or rather Sasuke who was the main problem at the moment.
Naruto watched them go with a pitiful expression on his face "Sakura-chan hates us believe it" he cried, not sure what he was doing wrong that Sakura didn't even want to be around him or even be on his team anymore.
"Lord Hokage should have never asked her to come back, she's been nothing but a nuisance, that Karin girl as well" Sasuke scowled, irritated, but he was ignored by Kakashi who pulled out a map to plan out a new route to reach their destination.
Meanwhile already five miles ahead of them were Sakura and Karin "One of these days I am going to hit him and he's going to regret every single time he insulted me" Sakura growled as she suppressed her chakra to civilian levels.
Prompting Karin to do the same "No wonder you were at the end of your rope with them they were even wearing down on my patience and that's saying something" Karin said not feeling to guilty about badmouthing Sasuke.
Who was a arrogant jerk "This is completely moronic, we should go back to the village not attempt finishing this A ranked mission its way out of our depths" Sakura sighed four hours later when they'd stopped and made camp for the night.
"Yeah that was ridiculous and Kakashi-sensei just caved into Naruto's childishness, if we had done that to Cee-sensei not only would he have lectured us until our ears bled but he would have made us witness first hand what happens when you make stupid decisions" Karin shuddered.
Because that was just the kind of person Cee was really, Sakura nodded and stoked the fire, clearly not up to conversing anymore that day as she cooked the strips of boar meat from the boar she'd caught for dinner.
Then afterwards, once the two kunoichi had made sure their little camp was secure by patrolling Sakura and Karin lay down in their sleeping bags to get some shut eye "Ugh lovely and here I thought yesterday was all a bad dream" Sakura groaned.
As she sat up the following morning "Yay" Karin cheered in fake enthusiasm, Sakura looked at her then snorted in amusement, Karin grinned lifting Sakura's foul mood before the pinkette disappeared to look for wild edibles.
So it was up to her to get the fire going again "So we should probably talk about what we're going to do, I didn't bring any casual clothes and I don't think there are any merchants around to buy casual clothes to help us pass as civilians for miles" Sakura declared.
Once she'd thrown everything including the rest of the boar meat into a pot to cook over the fire "Neither did I because I wasn't really expecting to come face to face with Zabuza Momochi" Karin deadpanned.
Sakura worried her lip obviously thinking before systematically going through everything she'd brought on the mission "Guess its our lucky day Karin-chan, I can make us clothes" Sakura breathed a sigh of relief.
Upon noticing she had practically an entire roll of material somehow sealed away in her storage scrolls probably for repairs she realized "It'll do Sakura-chan" Karin shrugged, not letting on that she was kind of excited to wear something Sakura had made her.
And watched intently as Sakura created three shadow clones, her limit at that current moment in time and got to work not needing to take any measurements simply started cutting the outline to the dresses that she was going to make.
Two hours later Sakura made the final stitch and turned the dress right side out "Oh wow that's pretty" Karin gasped in awe as the dull pink newly hand-sewn dress was handed over to her while Sakura kept the other.
"Sorry its not purple Karin-chan but we really should change into these and seal all of our ninja gear away in this scroll and hide it in the pocket I made on the inside of the dresses" Sakura apologized before showing off the pocket.
There was an enclosing seal that was nearly invisible but five minutes later both kunoichi were dressed as civilians "Alright suppose we ought to cross the ocean now" Karin grimaced, looking from side to side for something to help them.
Before spotting a boat heading their way, the man who was from Tazuna's village allowed them to board and with that they were slowly moving through the mist "Say you wouldn't happen to know a man named Tazuna would you" the boat guy asked.
Karin jumped lightly "Yes, you see we're actually ninja hired to protect him, but right now we're under cover as civilians, Tazuna-san is fine, the others are taking a different route to make sure he stays safe while we distract whoever is waiting for him over there" Sakura answered simply.
Pointing to where they were headed "I wish you good luck then ms ninja and try not to die will you both I don't want to have that guilt on my hands" the boat guy saluted, trying not to think about how young they were.
Sakura kept her expression neutral as they came ever closer to dry land again and a moment later they were on their own again "Ready when you are Sakura-chan" Karin intoned nervously after double checking to make sure her chakra was still suppressed to civilian levels.
"May the kami be with us, alright I'm ready now Karin-chan" Sakura prayed, closing her eyes briefly, then after taking a deep breath stepped forward, walking with confidence through the forest like she didn't have a care in the world.
Five minutes later Sakura was beginning to think that maybe Mizu had lied when Karin briefly tensed and she saw the perfect excuse to play off that second of tension "Well spotted Karin, I can't believe you found wild rosemary on your first try" Sakura clapped.
Heading towards the herb, Karin on her heels as she tried to not look confused "Told you I could do it ages ago but you kept doubting me" Karin huffed, playing along because she didn't want Zabuza to know he'd been sensed so soon by what looked like civilians.
In the tree above their heads Zabuza frowned beneath his bandages, watching with obvious confusion in his brown eyes as the two clearly civilian girls knelt and started picking herbs when he'd been certain the redheaded brat had felt his chakra just as he was going to attack.
But know he wasn't so sure thanks to the pink haired brat, so he sat there studying them, trying to figure out if they were deceiving him somehow but their actions were normal, there was no stiffness to their movements as they picked herbs.
They didn't even smell of nervousness to his frustration 'Only one way to find out for sure' Zabuza grunted inwardly to himself as he dropped silently to the ground and stalked over to the brats who were currently making his life difficult.
So engrossed in their task were they, they didn't even notice his approach or at least that's what he thought as he reached forward and gripped the pink haired brat by the hair and yanked her head back to stare at him with wide green eyes full of confusion and fear.
What he didn't see however was any glint of recognition at the sight of him "Brat you heard of a bridge builder called Tazuna, my employer wants him dead" Zabuza growled, releasing the brats hair and crouching to be more in the girls space.
Because he wanted to watch their expressions "Can't say that I have, I'm sorry" Sakura apologized, trembling with real fear, she was terrified of course who wouldn't be with the Demon of the Hidden Mist Village inches from their face.
"I haven't either, Sakura only brought me out here to learn about how to cultivate wild herbs to make medicines out of" Karin chimed in when he turned his attention on her, Zabuza clicked his tongue in disappointment.
And stood since they couldn't help him "Medicines you say" Zabuza paused at the last second, turning and marching back towards the brats still on the ground, the Sakura girl nodded her head fearfully "Make me something then, in exchange I'll let you live" Zabuza demanded.
Sakura blinked up at him, and then upon realizing he was serious pulled some things out of the bag at her waist a henbane root along with an entire plant that Karin vaguely recognized as dutchman's breeches, last was her mortar and pestle.
Quick as a flash Sakura was grinding those poisonous plants up into a powder "Here you go, I would suggest putting it in something you like to drink and sweetening it because that's going to be really bitter" Sakura instructed.
Once she'd put the ground up herbs in a tea bag for Zabuza who grunted and snatched it before disappearing on them not even asking what it was going to do, Karin kept her silence for all of three minutes "I can't believe you did that" Karin gasped for air.
Practically expiring on the ground "Shh he could still be hanging around" Sakura hissed, obviously trying not to do the same thing as the redhead as she put her stuff away and led the way out of the forest to the little town that was visible through the trees.
Realizing she was being left behind Karin hurried after her sister "Over there in that one Sakura-chan" Karin pointed after calming down and sensing out Naruto's chakra that was like a homing beacon for her advanced sensory skills.
"Idiot the least he could do is not make his chakra so blatantly freaking obvious for every rogue and their dog to sense" Sakura rolled her eyes as they headed for the house, Karin snickered softly but did no more than that.
A couple minutes after Sakura knocked a woman who introduced herself as Tsunami led them into the house where everyone was gathered in the living room "Sakura, Karin how did things go on your end" Kakashi questioned.
Glancing up from his book upon sensing their gazes "Just fine, he suspected of course but we managed to trick him enough and also give him something that will put him out of commission for a week or so until the poison is flushed from his body" Sakura assured.
Biting back a smile when Sasuke choked on his spit before glaring at her with dislike visible in his onyx orbs "How'd you manage to get him to take something from you that is poisonous" Kakashi cocked a silver brow at the pinkette.
Instead of Sakura answering Karin answered "Had him convinced that Sakura was teaching me how to make medicine so he demanded something in exchange for letting us go free with our lives, it wasn't our fault that he took it without asking what it was" Karin smiled innocently.
For the third time in his life Sasuke had to reevaluate something, another person who seemed unassuming at first but could be holy terrifying if they wanted to be "Teach me how to do that" Sasuke demanded in the next moment after making a decision.
Verdant orbs flashed his way full of fire and anger "No, I'm not going to teach someone who doesn't respect me and only wants to learn because he's petty" Sakura refused, knowing that Sasuke was not cut out for the life she'd lived for over seven years already.
Sensing that a fight was brewing Kakashi interjected himself just as Sasuke hopped up and took a swing at Sakura who grabbed his fist and twisted his arm behind his back "I can take you down any day of the week Sasuke but don't put Tazuna and his family in danger just because you can't get over yourself long enough to stop being an asshole" Sakura hissed.
Sasuke squirmed trying to get free of her vice like grip "Oh did that hurt your precious little ego, news flash Sasuke the world doesn't revolve around you and I'm not going to bow down and kiss your ass when you demand things of me" Sakura informed quite viciously.
Done catering to his childish and petty tendencies "Grow up and the next time you want something I suggest asking for it nicely and maybe I'll feel inclined to indulge you, now Tsunami-san do you need any help cooking lunch" Sakura released Sasuke.
Now that she was finished putting the arrogant bastard in his place hopefully, Tsunami blinked but nodded and with that the two females were gone, Karin on their heels "What the hell was that" Naruto asked in confusion.
"That Naruto-kun was Sasuke-kun being force fed a piece of humble pie, whether or not he'll learn from the lesson he was given remains to be seen" Kakashi explained as Sasuke shoved his hands into his pockets and disappeared from the living room.
Sasuke was quiet for the rest of the day as well, watching how Sakura interacted with Tazuna and his family, how she responded to them without getting pissed off all the time and finally realized how terrible he'd actually been behaving as they went to bed for the night.
