It was cold and dark, Snoe'Gles could barely see anything in front of him. Despite the harsh winds and hail he pushed forward motivated by nothing more than his very survival. Snoe'Gles saw a faint light in the distance and eagerly marched towards it. When he finally arrived at the light he would see that it's a sign post for nearby cities. 50 more miles until I arrive in Bruma, let's pray to Akatosh that the Imperial Province is as friendly as people say… Snoe'Gles thought to himself. When he turned to follow the pathway he saw a hooded figure standing in the distance. "Hail and well met!" Snoe'Gles shouted, keeping his distance from the mysterious stranger. The stranger proceeded to unsheathe his blade and marched towards Snoe'Gles. "I warn you this is not a fight you will win!" Snoe'Gles said while putting his hand over the hilt of his blade. "I am not afraid to send you to The Nine!" The stranger now standing a foot away from Snoe'Gles stared down the cautious Khajiit. "Your money or your life." The stranger barks.
"My sincerest apologies sir but I had to flee Skyrim as quickly as possible! I wasn't able to take any Septims with me."
"You're telling me you're heading to Cyrodiil with absolutely no coin whatsoever?"

"I swear to you on the grave of Lorkhan"

"Then pay with your blood!"
The hooded stranger charges forth towards Snoe'Gles ready to slaughter the Khajiit with his iron shortsword. He raises the shortsword and brings it down on Snoe'gles. Snoe'Gles lifts his shield in front of the sword to block the impending attack. A loud clang is heard as sparks fly off the shield and sword. Snoe'Gles lets a short yelp of pain from blocking the attack. The stranger who was surprised by the sudden block meekly brings up their sword to fend off the enraged Khajiit. Snoe'Gles lets out a fierce battle cry as he charges towards the stranger with his iron longsword raised behind him. Snoe'gles brings his sword down on the cowering stranger who lets out a shriek of pain as he clutches his torso. The stranger looks up into Snoe'Gles light blue eyes before closing his eyes and dropping onto the ground. Snoe'Gles looks upon the slain stranger, blood pouring out of the massive cut made from his right shoulder to his hip. "Make peace with The Nine while you still can." Snoe'Gles says to the dying man. "Talos...forgive...me…" the dying man whispered before letting go of his last breath. Snoe'Gles stared at the corpse before looking up towards the stars. Divines forgive him for he knows not what he did, Snoe'Gles thought to himself before continuing on his journey.

The tavern door opened with a loud thud as a cold and shivering white Kahjiit came stumbling in. The jovial tune from the bards and the loud carousing from the patrons ceased for a moment as everyone focused their gaze upon Snoe'Gles before resuming their activities. Snoe'Gles walked up to the innkeeper as he dropped the stranger's coin purse on the counter. "Is this enough for a room and some drinks?" Snoe'Gles inquired. "Ya this should cover your room and a few drinks, can I start ya off with some cheap ale?" The barkeeper replied.

"Sure."

"So uh, if I may ask what brings a Khajiit like you this far up north?"
"I'm actually going down south to the Imperial Province, I was actually born in Dawnstar believe it or not."

"Ahahaha! You must be joking, I've rarely seen Kahjiit's and now you're telling me you're from Skyrim! Ha!" the barkeeper says giving Snoe'Gles a pint of ale.

"I swear by the name of Talos it's true!" Snoe'Gles says while sipping the ale.

"Well if that's the case why would you be going down south? Is the weather up there too cold for a Kahjiit?" The barkeeper said while chuckling.

"I'd prefer not to get into it. But needless to say that Skyrim is not a safe place for me to be." Snoe'Gles said, staring into his pint of ale.

"What crime did you commit? Steal some nobles horse? Kill some brat?"

"No-no. I'm no criminal but I am being hunted." Snoe'Gles said, finishing his pint of ale.

"I see, well Bruma is quite a long ways away from here so good luck on your journey friend." The barkeeper said passing Snoe'Gles another pint of ale.

"Thank you. May Zenithar bless you and your business." As Snoe'Gles continues to drink the night away.

The bedroom door swung open as Snoe'Gles stumbled his way through the door and onto the bed. He flopped onto the bed as he closed his eyes and slept. What seemed like hours into the night he was awoken by a ghostly figure in front of him. "Snoe'Gles, do not be afraid. I have come to you in your hour of need." Snoe'Gles immediately sprung from bed and fell down to his knees on the floor as he quickly realized the ghostly figure was a manifestation of Akatosh. "Akatosh! Please have mercy on me!" Snoe'Gles wales.

"Snoe'Gles, your emperor is in danger, you must head to the Imperial City."

"In danger!? Your most excellent and divine whatever do you mean!?"

"You will know in due time. Now go Snoe'Gles." Akatosh said as he faded away. Snoe'Gles, not wasting any time, immediately grabbed his belongings and continued his journey towards Cyrodiil.
