Chapter 1: An unlikely Alliance
To say that Artorias Argento was looking forward to today was an understatement. The young man, who looked to be about 17, had long, Blonde hair that reached past his shoulders, slightly pale skin, and blue eyes. He wore his Exorcist garb: a blue tunic, white gloves with golden trimming, a white sash, blue leotard pants, and white boots with blue and gold trimmings. (AN: Think Seliph from FE4, but blonde) And strapped to his waist was his family's sacred sword: Passed down through the Argento Family by the Crusader of Light, the Holy Sword Tyrfing. It was sheathed in a sapphire blue scabbard with gold trimming, the emerald green handle could be seen, as well as the golden crossguard, that had a red jewel in the center. Opposite the sword was a book: a Magic Tome to be exact. It had a sun inscribed on the cover. His mother's Shine Tome, capable of piercing 100 Terrors with one cast.
"Ugh, why did we have to bring HIM with us?" An annoyed voice could be heard to the young man's left. She had chestnut brown hair tied into twintails, wearing a white robe. "He'll just slow us down." Before he could answer, the voice to his right answered. "You say that, Irina, but he is an Exorcist on par with Lord Dulio himself. It's no surprise that he's our superior on this mission." This girl had short blue hair with green bangs, sizable "assets", and golden brown eyes. "Remember, you two. Let me handle all the talking. We don't want to antagonize them before we even tell them why we're here." Artorias said.
Knocking in the door to the Occult Research Club room, the three exorcists opened the door and walked in. "Pardon the intrusion, Lady Rias. Thank you for agreeing to meet with us." The young man greeted politely. Eyes scanning the room, he saw four other people. A blonde girl, our favorite brown-haired pervert, a short, white-haired girl, and the resident Sadomasochist. "My name is Artorias. These are my comrades, Xenovia Quarta, and Irina Shidou. We were sent here by the Church to investigate a theft of our three Excalibur Fragments. We've tracked their whereabouts here." Listening intently, Rias Gremory nodded. "And what would you have us do? Surely you don't think we're responsible, do you?" She asked snarkily. Xenovia stepped forward to retort, but Artorias stopped her. "No, of course not. To be honest, we could use the extra help in getting them back. You see, the one who stole them was Kokabiel, a Cadre Class Fallen Angel and a Leader of the Grigori." Everyone tensed at that name. "Of course. We'll provide any help we can in order to resolve this. You have my word as Heiress to the Gremory House."
After all was said and done, the negotiations finished without a hitch. Artorias then turned to the blonde bishop of Rias' Peerage. "It's been a while, Asia." The young man said to her. Her eyes widened. "Onii-san?" Everyone's eyes widened at that. "Asia, you know this guy?" Issei asked. "Hai! This is my big brother, Artorias Argento." She said. Pulling his Imouto into a hug, tears began to fall down his cheeks. "I'm so sorry! I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you, Asia. That damned Devil got you excommunicated, and I wasn't there to stop him! I don't deserve to be your big brother…"
Xenovia eyed Asia with a disgusted expression. "So this is the Holy Maiden who fell and became a Witch. Not surprised to find you reincarnated as a Devil." Irina then chimed in. "You're right! It IS her!" Issei had heard enough. "Shut the hell up! You think she asked for this?! It was because you people put her up on a goddamned pedestal and made her out to be some kind of tool! All she wanted was a friend!" He snarled. "A Holy Maiden does not need friends when they can survive on the love of God. Tell me, Witch. Do you still believe in Him?" Xenovia Asked the cinnamon roll.
"H-hai. I can't seem to let go, even after becoming a Devil."
"In that case, Allow me to exorcise you right here and-" she got no further.
"That's enough, Xenovia. You will hold your tongue." Artorias growled. He was leaking a large amount of killing intent. "Talk to my beloved sister like that again, and I WILL have your head."
"Then allow me the honors." A new voice was heard. Turning towards the source, everyone turned toward the door. "Who are you?" Xenovia asked. "My name is Yuuto Kiba. I'm your superior. although I was deemed a failure."
Some time later…
"Is the barrier up?" Rias asked her Queen. "Of course, Buchou. Don't want anyone to see this." Kiba summoned a Holy Eraser and began chuckling like a madman. "Finally, the thing I've spent my whole life searching for is right in front of me!" Kiba said. Xenovia unravelled the cloth around her weapon, revealing a large blue claymore. "Think you can handle the power of my Excalibur Destruction?" Xenovia taunted. Suddenly, Artorias stepped in front of Xenovia, Tyrfing in hand. "You handle the Red Dragon Emperor, Xenovia-Chan. I'll take him." Nodding, the devout Knight moved to fight Issei. "My name is Artorias Argento. I shall be your opponent." Artorias declared. Kiba took the first move by using his Sword Birth to summon another sword. "Sword Birth… you must be a survivor of the Holy Sword Project." Artorias then shook his head. "That does not matter now. We have a spar to do. Show me what you can do, Kiba-kun." Artorias launched himself towards Gremory's Knight.
The two traded blow after blow, with Artorias being faster and stronger. He had made sure to hold back a little, not wanting to purify his old Comrade. "You're good, Sir Knight. You would have made a great Exorcist." Kiba smiled a genuine smile. "You as well, Artorias-kun." Suddenly, an explosion and a feminine scream was heard.
Dress Break! Both combatants turned to the source. Xenovia was on her knees with her combat outfit completely shredded. Issei was ogling his target with lewd intent. He was then knocked into a tree by Koneko.
Time Skip
"Well, that was a thing." Artorias sighed. He had a feeling leaving his baby sister in the hands of that degenerate Issei Hyoudou was gonna leave him worried for days on end. The three were currently renting a room at a nearby hotel. "Indeed. That was truly embarrassing. I had hoped to keep my purity after finding my chosen mate, but…" Xenovia looked down, pain and sadness written all over her face. "It'll be fine, Xenovia. Artorias here has seen us naked all the time! Besides, who better to bear your kids than one of your childhood friends?" Irina said without a care in the world. Xenovia's face turned beet red. "That's true. He is my childhood friend, and he's also amazingly strong." She turned to Artorias, who had nothing but a towel on. "I'll be going back to my room. Night!" Irina chuckled as she left the two alone. "Artorias-senpai?" The Blonde Crusader turned to Xenovia. "What's up, Xenovia?"
"We've known each other since we were little. And recently, I've felt that my heart beats faster whenever I'm with you. What I'm trying to say is, I love you, Senpai." Artorias blushed. "You mean that? Really and truly?" The blunette nodded. "You're always so strong, so kind. When we would visit the orphanage in the village near our church, you take on this fatherly aura, and help the sisters look after and play with the kids. It'd make me think what a great father you'd be someday. Which is why I-" she got no further. Artorias locked lips with Xenovia, their tongues wrestling for supremacy. After a while, the two split apart, a strand of saliva left behind from their passionate kiss. "I love you, Artorias Argento." Xenovia said with a deep red blush. "I love you too, Xenovia Quarta."
AAAAAANNNNNNDDDD DONE! That's the end of Chapter 1! :) This is a bit of a short chapter, but I think I did good. :D Anyway, with my last fic, I'm going to post Harem updates for Artorias and Issei, as well as a fire emblem style Stat Sheet.
About my other story, I'm having a tough time with it. I might not be consistent, but I'll update when I can. So pls bear with me! ;~;
