Shira started towards Sister Iris and the Captain of the 5th. Princess Hibana activated her power and instantly Shinra fell to the ground.

"Damn it," he groaned, "My head is spinning."

Hibana walked toward the fallen devil and grounded her heels into the back of his head.

"What did you do to me?" he said, weakly.

"Heat Syncope." the Princess said, simply. "I have wrapped your body in a wave of heat." She continued her long drone about her 3rd generation power. She was so consumed by her words, that she didn't realize a small girl had entered the room. The girl simply watched Shinra as he fought his way up to his feet and proclaimed that he was a hero. As she watched, her eyes widened. The boy had got up to his feet and managed to get the Captain aggravated.

'Guess I'll help him.' the girl thought. She lifted her arms and started to cool the moisture around the devil boy. She smiled as she watched the boy get up fully and ran towards the Captain. Hibana started the heat syncope again with even more force. The little girl gritted her teeth.

'Why is she making this so hard?' She groaned internally. 'And I thought today I was gonna be able to sleep.'

While she was stuck in her thoughts, Shinra managed to get into a difficult situation.

"Sakura Blizzard!" That snide voice brought her out of her thoughts. She looked around to see Shinra encased in a giant, tornado-like thing. As the petals floated down, she saw the burns left on his body.

'Shit! I have to work even harder now. Why did I even help him in the first place?' She groaned and proceeded to lower the temperature. Shinra stood and Hibana gasped in shock.

"What you shouldn't-" She looked frantically around the room. She laid her eyes on the white-haired girl. "You!" She growled, fiercely. Her attention got divided once again when Shinra punched her. The girl sighed.

"My work here is done." She scampered out, but not before Shinra and Iris caught a glimpse of her white and red hair (think of Fuyumi Todoroki).

TIME SKIP TO THE BARBEQUE

"Company 8 is proud to have him as our hero." Akitaru Obi finished.

"Your company wants to learn more about human combustion, right?" asked Hibana.

"Yes, that is why we were trying to steal Company 5's data."

"Well, here, I'll give you this." Her eyes, hidden behind shadows, "Someone out there is intentionally creating Infernals."

"What?!" Obi was stunned to say the least.

"Yeah."

"Well, I'm not letting these people get away with this! Creating human combustion on purpose? That's despicable."

Hibana sighed, "As much as it pains me to say it, it seems our thoughts are the same on that matter." She looked at him, "You guys are going to run into trouble if you decide to investigate further though."

"What do you mean?" Obi asked.

"The Infernals, the ones that are human-made, are in Shinjuku."

Obi gaped, "That's Company 1's jurisdiction."

TIME SKIP 'CAUSE AUTHOR-CHAN LAZY

"You're firing us?!" Kasumi heard yelling through the door.

"But…I finally made it…I was finally on my to be a hero…"

"My path to knightship has been closed."

"Um?" Kasumi poked her head in the room, "Am I interrupting something?"

"Nah, come on in," Hibana said.

"What? Who is this?"

"Hm? I'm Kasumi, Kasumi Kusakabe. I was ordered by Captain Hibana to transfer over to Company 8."

"I was not informed of this." Kasumi shot a glare at Hibana.

"I was getting to that. Captain Obi, this is Kasumi Kusakabe, Fire Force Soldier, Class 1. Do you want her?" Hibana savored the shocked looks that she was getting from everyone.

'Kusakabe? I- I don't even know her. Are we related?'

"-inra! Shinra! Can you pay attention?" Shinra jolted up.

"Sorry Captain. Kasumi just startled me. I didn't know that we were going to get a new member."

"Understandable, just pay more attention. Anyways, we want you to investigate Company 1 and we're taking advantage of the rookie exchange program."

"I'll put in some of my soldiers so they don't get suspicious," Hibana added, "I want you, Kasumi, to go with the rookies," She noticed Kasumi start to protest, "I know you aren't a rookie, but you can pull some strings right?" She gave her a severe look.

"Fine, fine. I'll go. I need you and Captain Obi," She turned towards the said captain, "to write a letter of permission. I'll say that-"

"Yes, whatever. I'll give it to you later. You are dismissed." Kasumi bowed, deeply, and left the room.

"You both are dismissed too. You both understand your mission?" Hinawa asked.

"Yes sir!" They said in unison.

"Maki will lead you to Company 1, as will Kasumi. Understood?"

"Yes sir!" They both left the room.

"Now that they're gone. I'll tell you more about Kasumi Kusakabe. She's interesting, to say the least," Hibana's eyes became hidden in the shadows.
