And welcome back, Wielders! We are continuing on from the cliffhangers, and we will be introducing a few new characters. And this chapter explains why I chose the name I did.

Ashley and Keval stood at the front desk of the Library. Both were looking toward the newcomers that had entered.

In the doorway stood two women. One was dressed in all black. The other was dressed in an off pink.

The woman in black had a long dress on. She also had on long gloves with jewelry on her wrists. Her hair was short and white in color. Her dark eyes and warm smile made her seem like a caring mother.

The woman in pink looked to be slightly younger. Her long red hair went over her shoulders and down her back. Her pink eyes looked at the Wielders with happiness and nervousness. On her right cheek was a blue heart, which had the outline of a purple heart around it. There was a necklace similar to Ashley's around her neck.

"Is something wrong, Ashley?" the white-haired woman asked. "You act like you've seen a ghost. Are you feeling well?"

"Who are you?" Ashley asked, clutching the book. "How do you know my name? And how did you get into Daybreak Town?"

The white-haired woman giggled. "Well to answer all of those questions; I am Lost Memory, your keyblade."

Ashley dropped the book in shock. She was shaking as she looked at the woman. Keval saw her about to fall, and when she did, he was able to react and catch her.

"Hey! Ash, are you okay?" Keval asked.

"I… I don't know," Ashley said. She held up her hand. A light formed in her hand, but then disappear. "But I can't summon Memory, or Promise."

"That's because we are right here," Lost Memory said. She pointed to the red-haired woman, "That is Love's Promise. And I am Lost Memory. We are your Keyblades."

"Very funny," Keval laughed nervously. "You are joking…right?"

Both women shook their heads.

"Oh…" Keval seemed to get more nervous. "Alright then…"

"But…Keyblades…" Ashley was shaking, "They are just weapons. That…that…"

Love's Promise spoke up next. "Are linked to the Wielders heart. And we are linked to you Ash. Or do you still prefer Shaylex?"

"Ashley…" She curled into Keval, who held her close. "I'm Ashley."

Promise smiled. "Right. Um… I think we should get them something to eat, Big Sis. And we should find the other two. Before you-know-who…"

Memory giggled again. "I'm quite sure he won't cause problems. Especially if he does interact with the Seeker. But food does sound lovely." She looked to the two Wielders, "Grand chef makes the best food of all the Worlds. Keval, why not take Ashley and we can explain everything at the restaurant."

Keval picked up Ashley and the book. He held the Wind-user close as he followed the two women outside.

"Everything will make sense soon, Ash," Keval said, kissing her forehead, "We will get through this together."

Ashley just nuzzled into Keval's arms. She nodded as she was carried by her fiancée. -

"Who are you?" Laci asked.

She and Tenebrae were staring at a young man. He had blond hair, poking out from under a black fedora. His left eye looked brown, while the right looked red. They seemed to be carefree, but mischievous. Under both eyes, he had upside-down spade symbols. Despite looking young, he had a five o' clock shadow.

The young man was dressed in a red button down with rolled up sleeves. He had a black vest with a rose pinned to the chest, a black tie and gloves that went well with the shirt. Black pants and shoes completed the outfit. He seemed to be shuffling a deck of cards.

"You know. I'm kinda hurt," the young man laughed. "After all, you talk to me all the time. And now I can finally return the favor."

"Talk to you?" Laci asked. She looked to Tenebrae, who shrugged. "I talk to my friends, and Lucky, my Keyblade."

"Ding ding!" the young man said with a smile. He removed his fedora and made an exaggerated bow. "Ladyluck, at your service. But please, call me Lucky."

"Okay, this is stupid," Tenebrae said. He held up his hand and it caught fire. "Look we don't have time for games. And you aren't from Daybreak Town. So, leave, before things get rough."

A card flew past Tenebrae's cheek, cutting a line and drawing blood. Lucky had his arm outstretched and a smile on his face. He pulled his hand back and wagged his finger.

"Careful buddy," Lucky said, "Just because you are close to my Wielder, doesn't mean I won't fight back. Of course, I do need to get you back to the others in one piece. Though she never said I couldn't cut you up a bit."

Laci walked up to Lucky and put both hands on his cheeks. She stared into his eyes, both unblinking. Tenebrae just waited. After some time, Laci had a wide smile.

"Lucky!" Laci cheered, throwing her hands in the air. She gave Lucky a big hug, giggling like a schoolgirl. "Now we can have actual conversations. And it won't seem weird to everyone else. And we can…"

Tenebrae just watched as Laci talked to Lucky. He wiped his cheek, using a Cure spell to heal the cut. He was glad his magic was still working. But now, he worried about the so called Keyblade.

"Listen," Lucky said, holding Laci's shoulders. "While I'm glad for the opportunity, we need to get you and Grumpy to Grand Chef's restaurant. Any questions you have will be answered there. And your friends will be there too."

"Oh right!" Laci said, grabbing Lucky's hand. "We need to show Ashley and Keval this! Come on Tenni!" She started dragging Lucky back towards the fountain.

Lucky chuckled before redirecting her. He led her in a different direction. "This way. I have a feeling your friends will be there already."

Tenebrae just followed behind the two. He was wary of the newcomer. But with his limited skill set, he needed to play it safe.

The three walked deep into town. They came across a restaurant with a sign that read 'Le Grand Bistro'. Lucky ushered them inside. The entire restaurant was well lit and decorated. Many tables were placed in a way to leave room to travel. On the far end, there was a stage with a performance happening. A young woman with purple hair, a boy with headphones, a young woman with light blue hair, and a girl with green hair were singing an upbeat song.

"There they are," Lucky said. He pointed off to the corner, where a section was separated from the others. "Hey! I found them."

Lucky went up to the section. Keval and Ashley were at a large table with two other women. The other two Wielders seemed relieved to see their friends. Tenebrae relaxed as Laci ran up to Ashley, talking as fast as normal while recounting the events. Tenebrae took a seat next to Keval.

"Glad to see you and Lala are okay," Keval said with a smile.

Tenebrae nodded. "Yeah, that guy… Lucky, seems to not mean any harm."

"Alright!" Lucky said, getting everyone's attention. "We already know who the Wielders are. So now for us. I'm Ladyluck but call me Lucky."

"I'm Lost Memory," the white-haired woman said. "You can call me Memory."

"And I'm Love's Promise," The red-haired woman said. "But call me Promise."

"I get how Lucky knows me," Laci said, "But how do the rest of you know us?"

"That's a good question," Tenebrae said. "Not to mention you each of you have the same names as our Keyblades. Care to explain?"

"Always quick to skepticism, Tene," Promise giggled. "Though you weren't so skeptic when you and Shaylex first met."

Tenebrae just stayed quiet. He had a look of shock on his face but was trying to hide it. Something felt off.

"To clear any air," Memory said with a chuckle, "We ARE Keyblades. I guess you can say, we are the Souls. There were more of us, just like there were more Wielders. And the First Keyblade War claimed many of us, like it did the Wielders."

"A Keyblade's Soul?" Ashley asked. She looked pale but interested. "I guess that makes some sense."

"Of course, we can only truly exist after coming in contact with a Wielder," Promise said. "Or in some cases, like mine, from our Wielder's Heart. Thank you for that, by the way, Ashley." Promise smiled at the Wind-user.

Ashley blushed a bit, before hiding behind Keval. The larger male just chuckled at her antics. The mood around did seem to lighten. Everyone who was before became a little less tense.

"So, all of you are Keyblades?" Tenebrae asked, "And each of you are linked to a Wielder?"

"Bingo!" Lucky said. He pulled out a deck of cards and shuffled it. He spread the cards out and picked up a few. "Each of us are tied to one of you. We fight alongside you every time you call our power." He showed the cards were two pairs of similar suits.

"And we are always prepared to protect our Wielders," Memory said with a warm smile, "Even when they forget about you."

"That explains a bit," Ashley said, looking sad, "But if that's the case, it explains why I couldn't materialize my blades. They were already there."

"So not to go off topic," Keval said, scratching the back of his head, "But if you three are Ash and Lala's Keyblades, what about me and Tenny?"

"Actually, that is odd," Memory said, putting a hand to her chin. "I told them to meet us here. I thought they would have been here before us."

"We would have," a gruff voice said, coming from behind the divider, "But someone decided to use his abilities and try to hide. I got him though. Come on."

Entering the section, was a man almost as tall as Keval. His face was covered by a mask that went around his head. He had chains wrapped around his forearms. His clothes seemed designed for mobility in combat, being short-sleeved. The black torso helped with the look.

"I am Sleeping Lion," the man introduced himself. "Good to be back with you, Keval."

Keval seemed surprised. He had a nervous grin on his face, but one could tell there was joy behind it. He walked up to Sleeping Lion and held up a fist. The Keyblade returned the favor, giving his Wielder a fist bump.

"Ah this is sweet!" Keval said, clearly excited. "Nice to meet ya, Lion."

Lion reached behind himself and dragged out another male. "Come on, you're the only one left," he said, "Why are you being difficult?"

"Because I don't care," the newcomer said. "They shouldn't even be here."

The male had silver hair that draped over his left eye. Both eyes were a blood red color. A yellow mouse head could be seen on his right cheek. He was wearing a yellow button down; the top few buttons were open showing a red undershirt. White pants and black gloves completed his outfit.

"Come on KD," Promise said, giggling, "It's nice to actually be able to talk to our Wielders. Don't you think?"

"Katie?" Tenebrae asked. "Isn't that an odd name for a Keyblade?"

"No, it's K. D." the newcomer growled, "It's short for Kingdom Key D. your Keyblade."

Lucky seemed to hold back a laugh. The other Keys were more subtle about their amusement. Tenebrae looked at all the Keys, before locking eyes with KD.

There was a moment where nothing was said. After which a tear fell down Tenebrae's cheek. Everyone took notice, before KD turned and walked away.

"You okay, bro?" Keval asked the Seeker.

Tenebrae wiped the tear and nodded. "That is my Keyblade," he said softly, "But he resents me. There is so much pain in his eyes. Pain I caused."

Ashley looked worried. "Tenebrae?"

"It's alright," Memory said with a soothing tone. "He still fights with you. So even after all of that has happened, he trusts you. Now then, let's eat and chat. There is much to discuss." -

And there we go! The Keyblades are finally introduced! Like I mentioned these Keyblades in particular are wielded by the specific Light Protectors here, but more will be introduced. Of course, I wanna thank my family in the Keyblade Soul tag, because they gave me so much to work with and I have plenty of ideas coming up.
See you all in the next one!
