6. Memories

As their kiss ended, Kuri gripped her head.

"Reaching up to the sun, out of the mud, the lotus..." She whispered.

"Kuri...Kuri don't give in to the memories!" Kanda cried. "You'll lose yourself!"

"Don't you remember my name?" Kuri's eyes were silver. "It's Midoriko."

Kanda pulled her into his arms. "Please don't give in to the memories. You'll die! I just found you!"

"My name is Midoriko!" Kuri snapped. "I'm an exorcist and you're Jiro. Your my..."

Kuri kissed him passionately and Kanda couldn't let go. But he couldn't lose her either. How could he stop what had begun.

Reiko stared into the circus lights. She remember when Mana killed Neah.

When she looked into Allen's eyes, she saw Neah within them and it made her sad.

Would Neah take her beloved Allen away from her? Would he at least let her say goodbye?

Reiko knew Neah loved her, but not enough to share her with Allen.

"Blue?" Allen interrupted her thoughts. "You're humming. What is that song? It sounds so familiar."

"Just a memory. From long ago."
