Chapter 5: A Happy New Year
While everyone was exchanging gifts, Caroline looked over the chimney to put on one last stocking that wasn't on it yet - Kenny's.
Caroline: There. Kenny's stocking is all set up so Santa can leave him a present.
Kenny: Oh, Caroline, c'mon. It's embarrassing. I'm not a baby anymore.
Caroline: Oh. Well I'll take it down, if you'd like.
Kenny: Oh no! I didn't say it wasn't nice.
Garrett then brought out a small box.
Garrett: Here's my present to you, Aline.
Garrett handed the box to Aline, who then opened it. She gasped as she looked at it.
Aline: (bringing it out) It's a locket!
Garrett: Open it, and take a peek.
Aline did what she was told and looked - inside the locket was a picture of Garrett and Aline sharing a hug, and an inscription saying "Garrett + Aline - Together Forever". Aline started to tear up.
Aline: (hugs Garrett) Oh, what a wonderful present!
Meanwhile, Caroline was doing some giving of her own.
Caroline: Speaking of presents, Grover… I'd like you to have this Fraggle Pebble.
Caroline passed the gemstone to Grover, who gasped as he took it.
Grover: This fraggle pebble is for me?
Caroline nodded.
Grover: Oh thank you, Caroline. Oh, I just love Christmas.
Suddenly, Gordon opened the door. He was dressed in a red suit, black boots and a long white beard.
Gordon: Ho, ho, ho!
All the party guests cheered as he approached.
Gordon: Merry Christmas, everyone!
As Gordon began giving out presents from his bag, everyone began singing another Christmas carol.
Everyone: (singing) We wish you a Merry Christmas

Meanwhile in heaven, Jared Nathan, who died a year ago, watched as the party went on. Miles was staring at him from below.
Jared: Well, they sure seem to be having a good time out there, Miles.
Miles: Yup!
Jared: Yeah, I love it when they have a good time. And I love this holiday, even if it does involve snow. (disgustedly) Ugh!
I then turned to the sink where dishes were stacked pretty high.
Jared: But lemme tell ya, somebody's gotta do somethin' about these dishes, Miles. C'mon, I'll wash and you dry, kay?
Jared tossed Miles a wash cloth which landed on his head.
Back in the living room, everyone continued singing.
Everyone: (singing) We wish you a Merry Christmas

As the singing was drawing to a close, Garrett and Aline walked under a familiar plant.
Garrett: (taps Aline's shoulder) Sora, ya might wanna look up.
Garrett: (does so) Uh-oh, mistletoe.
Aline then kissed Garrett right on the cheek.
Aline: Merry Christmas, Garrett.
Garrett: Aw. (kisses her on the cheek) Merry Christmas, Aline.
Everyone: (singing) Have a very Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year!
