Hello everyone I'm back with another chapter for the story and I hope you enjoy, I would also like to apologize for how long I've been away and not updating soon like I promised but I hope you enjoy this chapter. I also do not own anything here
Sabaton- Screaming eagles
After the screen turned black arya was still hugging Jon as he tried to get her off of him, promising that he's fine.
"now we will be watching something different, this will be a band that's famous where I'm from and they sing about historic military battles and units, but you never heard of music like this from westeros"
Everyone wondered what kind of music they would be hearing after the entity said that, some were glad to listen to music after some of the stuff they have seen.
They all sat down as they waited for the screen to turn on again as some people were talking to each other, after 5 minutes the screen turned on again and started the music as words appeared for the viewers.
The 101st Airborne Division (nicknamed "Screaming Eagles") is an elite modular specialized light infantry division of the United States Army trained for air assault operations. During WW2 they fought in several major campaigns and battles, including the Battle of the Bulge, around the city of Bastogne.
The Siege of Bastogne was an engagement in December 1944 between American and German forces. The goal of the German offensive was to take control of Antwerp's harbour.
In order to reach it before the Allies had a chance to regroup and bring their aerial support, German mechanized forces had to seize the roadways through eastern Belgium, because they all converged on Bastogne.
The American soldiers in the city were outnumbered 5 to 1 and were lacking cold-weather gear, ammunition, food, medical supplies and senior leadership. Due to the bad winter weather, the U.S. forces could not be resupplied by air and air support wasn't available.
On the 22nd of December, General von Lüttwitz submitted a demand for surrender to his Brigadier General Anthony McAuliffe, who was commanding the U.S. forces in Bastogne.
Shortly after McAuliffe sent the following communication to von Lüttwitz: "To the German Commander. NUTS! The American Commander.
The people who fought in war's was surprised at hearing this, even Tywin lannister had a shock look across his face.
they all wondered why the American general didn't accept the surrender, some thought it was his honor and pride as others thought it was because he didn't know what he was doing.
"Crack of the lightning splitting the ground Thunder is sounding, artillery pounding Wrath of the Nazi's cast on Bastogne Facing their forces alone"
"ALONE!" [2x]
"Sent from the skies jumped into the unknown,
The march to Berlin has begun,
Spearhead the charge surrounded by foes Eagles are leading the way,
France is still under enemy rule,
Push, axis retreat"
"Thrown towards Arnhem a bitter defeat
They're stretched out just one bridge too far Turn of the tide, it's breaking away
Losing momentum, retreat
Go to Bastogne, the crossroads must hold Stand, alone in the cold"
"Crack of the lightning splitting the ground Thunder is sounding, artillery pounding Wrath of the Nazi's cast on Bastogne
Facing their forces alone"

"Dig your own foxholes or dig your own Grave
The storm is about to begin
The siege has begun, there's nowhere to run Panzerkampfwagen emerge
Tanks and mortars are shaking the ground Prey of man and machine"
"Crack of the lightning splitting the ground Thunder is sounding, artillery pounding Wrath of the Nazi's cast on Bastogne Facing their forces alone"
"Chill of the winter bite to the bone and Christmas is drawing near
Soldiers are freezing, the death toll increasing
They're dying in their holes
There's no surrender there's no retreat,
the Wehrmacht is drawing near
There's no reinforcements they're fighting all alone"
"Sent from the skies ended up in Bastogne As easy, as hard as they get
Nazi command request and demand Offer surrender – declined
Nuts! The generals word echo clear
Nuts! The Nazi's shall hear"
"Crack of the lightning splitting the ground Thunder is sounding, artillery pounding Wrath of the Nazi's cast on Bastogne Facing their forces alone" [2x]
there was different reactions once the song ended, some were shocked at what they saw, some were interested behind the history of the battle and other's were excited when they saw it.
The younger ones we're excited to see something like that and wanted to try jumping out of a plane like the soldiers did, while the older generation were interested on how they made the planes.
The Targaryens were the most shocked finding out that humans were able to fly without dragons and were worried that other Lords and ladies would try to make something like them.
Well I hope you enjoyed this chapter and wonder if you want me to do more music ones as well, I would also like to apologize for not updating for who knows how long.next chapter: Chosen one by HFP
