MA #3:

Bonus prompts:

Magical Theory - Task 1 – Wand: We'll be starting with an obvious one here. Your wand is one of the first things you buy and one of the most important items you'll own as a witch or wizard. Your wand allows you to gather your magic one place before you perform your spell. Write about someone preparing for an event.

Summary: They prepared for everything but not this.

Molly couldn't believe her baby was getting married tomorrow. She remembers when he was just born and now he's getting married. She couldn't believe it. She decided to look at some pictures.

"Mum?" a voice asked.

She looked up at her oldest son, Bill. Despite his scarring he looked happy.

"Can we talk?"

Molly nodded, Bill walked towards the bed and sat next to her.

"You remember this photo?" She asked.

Bill glanced at the photo and thought back at the moment. "Yes, I do."

"I'm sorry about the way I treated Fleur after your engagement announcement. You're my oldest. You know how protective I am."

Bill smiled. "I know mum. I remember you wanting to hex Madame Rakepick for letting me down"

"I did."

"Fleur told me that she stood up to you right before I woke up from the werewolf attack."

Molly said. "She did. I didn't realize how gutsy she was."

"Because you thought she was only using me for my looks. But Fleur is actually very smart, kind and protective. I know she can initially come off as conceited and vain," Bill smiled.

Molly nodded. "I suppose she wasn't a Triwizard champion for nothing."

"She beat out the whole school to become the champion. Though, she wishes she wasn't underestimated by the judges of the tournament since they thought she was pretty and not smart."

Molly nodded again. "I should've known something would happen between you two when I saw her eyeing you over her mum's shoulder. I saw you stealing glances at her too."

"You did?"

"I'm not as oblivious as you kids think I am."

Bill's ears tinged pink in a trademark Weasley blush as Molly smiled at him.

"So, you really love her?"

"I do."

Molly patted his shoulder before he stood up. She followed him out of the room and walked to the kitchen.

"Ron, Harry, Hermione!"

"Yes, mum!"

"Please clean your room for the wedding tomorrow!"

"Are they having the wedding in my room?" Ron asked.

Harry snickered as Hermione glared at him.

"Just go clean, Ronald."

Ron grumbled again and walked up to his room with Harry still snickering while Hermione gave Molly a reassuring look.

A few minutes later, long time family friends Richard and Jane Lofton walked in following them was Richard's oldest daughter Lori and her family.

Lori was a year younger than Bill. She had been happily married to her Hogwarts sweetheart Lincoln for the past 6 years. They had two daughters Danielle was five and their younger daughter was three.

Molly greeted the group. Richard decided to help Molly cook while Lincoln and Lori decided to help Ron clean his room.

"I can't believe Bill is getting married."

Richard smiled. "I remember feeling the same way when Lori was getting married."

"You always treated Lincoln like a son."

"I did. Lincoln never had to assure me that he loved Lori but of course Lori was never attacked by a werewolf."

"Yeah, you didn't."

Meanwhile, Lincoln and Lori were helping Ron clean his room.

"So, are you going to have any more kids?" Ron asked.

Lori and Lincoln smiled at each other. "Actually, I just found out I'm pregnant again. I'm almost six weeks along."

Ron returned his surrogate sister's smile. "That's great."

Lincoln asked. "Are you ever going to ask Hermione out?"

Ron blushed. "I don't think I'm good enough for her."

Lincoln smiled. "I thought the same about Lori."

"You two are different though, you had auras helping."

"True but I do think if we didn't have our auras. I think I would've fallen hard for Lori anyway. She sounded so attractive when she was ranting about me using the 'm' word."

"If we didn't end up together I probably would've punched you instead," Lori laughed.

"Probably."

The next day Charlie arrived early. He walked to his old room to help calm a nervous Bill down.

"Merlin, I'm so nervous," Bill said.

"You know I was incredibly nervous before Lori and I got married," Lincoln smiled fondly.

"Good thing you didn't leave Lori at the altar. I would've hexed you to oblivion."

"I know, Charlie. Have you talked to Lori today?"

Charlie shook his head. "No, I just got a quick hug and she got distracted."

Lincoln smiled. "Well, she's pregnant again. She's six weeks along."

"Oh, congratulations. You two trying for a boy?"

Lincoln smiled. "I don't mind if it's another girl. I love being a girl dad."

Bill said. "Fleur and I want three kids."

"I'm not sure if I want kids."

The wedding began and Bill stood at the altar with Charlie next to him. They could easily see Langston looking at Fleur's little sister Gabrielle. They were around the same age.

Fleur walked down the aisle and they said their vows. Lori and Lincoln couldn't help but stare at each other.

It was now the reception, Lincoln noticed his brother-in-law still staring at Gabrielle. "Hey Langston, why don't you go ask her to dance."

"She'd probably say no," he sighed.

"You'll never know until you try."

The younger boy nodded and got up to ask Gabrielle to dance.

"Hey Lin?" his wife asked.

"Yes, love?"

"I think Charlie has a little crush on Viktor Krum," she said, nudging her husband.

He followed her gaze and noticed Charlie staring longingly at Viktor. The couple walked over to him.

"Hey Charlie, why don't we dance," Lori asked her best friend, grabbing his arm.

Charlie tore his eyes off Viktor. "Sure, Lori."

They walked to the dance floor.

"So, I saw you staring at Viktor Krum," Lori smirked at her best friend.

Charlie blushed.

"You should go talk to him," she encouraged him.

After the dance, Charlie walked over to Viktor and began talking to him. Their daughters were dancing nearby and they sat nearby.

Lincoln wrapped his arm around his wife. "I told Charlie and Bill that you're pregnant again."

"Are you hoping for a boy?"

"Bill and Charlie asked me the same thing," Lincoln replied resting his hand on her stomach. "You know I don't really care. I love being a girl dad."

Lori smiled and kissed him.

Before their snogging session could continue the wards on 'The Burrow' fell and Death Eaters broke in.

Lincoln instructed Lori to leave with their daughters so they would be safe.
