Okay, here you go.

Finally, Jason spoke. "Since you won't tell me anything, and I don't know anything about this guy, I am going to drive you to and from your appointment. Please. I don't like that I don't know him, please, just let me make sure you're safe." He asked her. "You are my best friend." Jason gently reminded her, willing to play all the cards to get his way. Carly sighed and nodded, knowing there was no hope in fighting Jason on this one.

"Thank you." Jason said and tucked her head underneath his chin. "What time is your appointment?" He asked her. Carly took a step back and visibly paled. "Two o'clock." She mumbled. Jason sensed something was wrong, but let it go for the moment, he would ask her later.

Jason looked at the clock and saw that it was now one. "Come on, let's go ahead and leave. We'll make it to the hospital early." He said and grabbed her hand. "Wait!" Carly yelled and snatched her hand away. She ran over to her desk and started looking for something in the drawer. Finally, after a few moments, she pulled out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter.

"Carly," Jason started to protest, but she raised her hand to silence him as she lit one and took a long draw. Cigarettes were another one of Carly's new ways to cope. Jason shook his head. He despised cigarettes, and hated when people he loved smoked them. "Carly when did you start smoking?" He asked her.

Carly just shrugged, not sure when exactly she had started. "I don't know, it's been a while. I just hid it from you." Carly told him lamely. "We'll, put it out. I'll buy you some patches and gun after I drop you off." He promised her. Carly nodded and outted her cigarette. She placed her hand in Jason's and they walked out of her apartment together.

There you go. Remember, if I get at least two new reviews, I'll give you three chapters tomorrow. I promise. Love y'all - Tay.
