Jason pulled into the parking garage of General Hospital, and parked his truck beside a shiny black Chevrolet Camaro. He hopped out and ran around the truck to open Carly's door for her. She smiled gratefully at him, but wouldn't make eye contact with him. She was scared.
Carly didn't know why, but something felt very different about this visit, and that was enough to terrify her. She pushed her fear aside as she approached the front desk. "Elizabeth, I have an appointment with DR. Baldwin. " Carly said Carly, which indicated her fear to Jason. Elizabeth didn't even look up from the computer in front of her. She just nodded and murmured, "Of course, go on ahead." Carly headed to Dr. Baldwin's office with Jason close behind her. "Carly" Jason called.
Carly chose not to answer, and instead, she quickened her pace, leaving Jason a little ways behind. He jogged up to catch up with her, and grabbed her arm. "Carly, look at me. " Jason demanded. Carly sighed and turned to fully look at him. "What? " She asked, exasperated.
"Are you sure you want to go today? I mean, I can take you, Joss, and Morgan and we could grab a late lunch and go to the lake and swim. Please? I don't want you to go in there and something happen to you." Jason was all but begging her. Carly's gaze softened. "Jason, I have to go to my appointment. There could be some serious consequences if I don't go." She told him softly, with a small, small hint of fear in her voice.
