Yes, I remember that I said I'll update once a month but... I'm currently rewriting the plot of 6 of my books, including this one so... sorry for the delay. And I will be taking down the book this week in order to start republishing the same.
Straight to the point. The idea for this book came from 2 stories written by Andy Hood on Fanfiction - If He Be Worthy and You See the Battlefield. And yes, I have asked the author permission before I actually started on the book and they know that I've been inspired by the books they wrote.
I'd given this book a lot of thought before I started writing it (Sorry machi, you had to be my blackboard even tho you didn't know anything about either fandom) but I clearly couldn't keep up with the wing it idea cuz at one point, I myself lost track of what I was doing.
Let me backtrack a bit there. I actually hadn't planned the entire plotline so I had no idea where I was taking the plot actually, just having vague meeting points and it was clearly not working.
Plus revisiting the initial chapters especially, I am really cringing at whatever I've written. Honest. I don't know what I was thinking but I know that I should majorly revise stuff. So... this is me, trying to apologise for my carelessness and not preplanning the whole plot as while the idea probably had merit, I didn't give it a strong foundation with the 'build as the time comes' approach as it just backfired on me as time passed.
So this is what I've decided. The core concept is the same. The pairings will most likely not change But the upcoming part is the changes I am planning to make, and some are depended on your opinion. So here they are:
1) John will be a POW when Myc and Tony are captured. And no, he is invalided much later than this incident. Somewhat a year or two later.
2) Phil is John's half brother all the same or adopted bro, idk which one... what do you think?
3) Tony and Strange are half bros?
4) You want me to go more in-depth with regard to John and Sherlock bromance? I will admit it was quite lacking in the original plot.
5) Sherlock and Strange practising Mystic Arts? (Idk but I want to do that. And also a meeting between Everet Ross and John)
6) Inclusion of IM3, CA: WS, AoU etc. Or canon divergence with a little intersection at points (like Black Panther or Homecoming or IW and stuff)
7) Should John get his own weapon? Should he visit Asgard?
8) Should I involve Loki?
Pairings:
John/Tony pairing. No one can change my mind there.
And shoot me the craziest pairings for the following people. If you are lucky, I may end up writing that pairing ;)

Mycroft
Lestrade
Bucky
Strange
Natasha
IK it is repetitive but... I am desperate and it's necessary so... yeah. It is your choice guys. The moment I have a decent number of opinions, I will publish my chapter. So until then, TA TA!
