Alexandria and John had been talking to each other a lot over the last couple weeks. He never brought Sherri up. They liked talking to each other. After today production for movie was going on a break for a week. Everyone was on lunch break on the set. John sat down acrossed from Alexandria.

"Hi." She said.

"Hi." "Still planning on going to Boston tomorrow?"

"Yeah." "We weren't sure if they could get Ann and I in but they were able to find an open slot."

"That's good." "I bet you're excited to see her."

"Yeah."

"Going to your parents to."

"Yeah and letting the inquisition begin probably." She said rolling her eyes. "I just hope Ann let's me pick out a halfway nice bridesmaid dress."

"Why wouldn't she?"

"I just know how some brides can get." "I've been looking on the Internet and I've seen some truly hideous bridesmaids dresses." "Are you still planning on meeting up with your friend in Missouri?"

"Yeah."

"What's his name again?"

"Randy."

"You met him when you started wrestling right?"

"Yeah." "Most of all though I can't wait to see my dog."

"I didn't you had a dog."

"Yeah." "Her name is Riley." "Wanna see a picture?"

"Sure." John got out his phone and showed her a picture.

"Aw, she's cute."

"Thanks." He put his phone away.

"How long have you had her?"

"Well I've had her for four years but she's six." "She was Sherri's." "Sherri left me for about two years and in that time she got Riley." "Riley really misses her." He said sadly. He was talking about the dog when he said that, but he was more talking about himself.

"How long were you guys married?"

"Three months, before that bastard… Alexandria saw anger, hurt and pain in his eyes.

"Are you alright?"

"I'm fine." He said immediately turning off the emotions he was showing. "Has everything been decided for Ann's wedding?" He said changing the subject.

The next day Alexandria and Ann were at a dress shop. Alexandria had already tried on three dresses. She came out wearing the next one. It was light blue, silk with spaghetti straps.

"I love this one." Alexandria said.

"Me to." "Is that the one you want?"

"Yeah."

"Ok."

Alexandria took her cell phone out of her purse and handed to Ann. "Take a picture of me."

"Ok." Right before she took the picture Alexandria got a text. Ann saw it. It read.

How's the dress picking going? – John

Ann smiled. "You just got a text from John." "He wants to know how the dress picking is going."

"Just take the picture."

She took the picture and gave the phone back to Alexandria. "So, how's the sex?"

"John and I aren't having sex." "We're just friends."

"Right." She said not believing her.

"We've been talking but it's nothing."

"I knew you liked him."

"I do not."

After she got in her car to leave the dress shop, she sent a text to John. It read.

What do you think John? – Alexandria

She sent the picture Ann took along with it.

You look nice. – John

Thanks. – Alexandria

Two nights later John and Randy were at a bar in Missouri. They were drinking and playing pool. John got a text. It read.

I hope you and Randy are having fun. I'm going to bed. Goodnight. – Alexandria

John smirked.

"Who's that?" Randy asked.

"Just a friend."

"Is it a woman?" Randy asked surprised.

"Yeah."

"Wow."

"She's just my friend."

"What does she look like?" John showed him the picture she sent him in the bridesmaid dress. "Damn, she's hot." "If I weren't married I'd go for her." "What's her name?"

"Alexandria."

"Pretty name."

"Yeah."

"Do you like her?"

"Like I said, she's just my friend." "I don't deserve to be with anyone anyway." "It's not like I can protect anybody."

"John you have to stop blaming yourself." "If you like Alexandria go for it."

"I don't want to talk about it Randy."
