The next morning Alexandria was sitting at the kitchen table eating her breakfast. She was still thinking about what happened between her and John last night. Her Skype ring went off. She pressed the button to connect and John popped up on the screen.

"Hi." He said.

"Hi." "Where are you?" She asked noticing a lot of activity around him.

"I'm at the airport." "I know it seems like I say this to you a lot but I'm sorry."

"It's ok." "Are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm ok."

"Good."

"I don't want things to be weird between us."

"I don't either."

"Still friends?"

"Of course."

"I'm glad you're not mad at me."

"Of course not."

"I'd miss it if we didn't talk anymore."

"That won't happen, we're friends."

"Are you sure you're ok?"

"Yeah." "I just get like that when I drink sometimes."

"Where are you going?"

"New York City."

"Appearances?"

"Yeah." "Can I text you later?"

"Sure."

"When's your next job?"

"It starts in three days." "It's a drama."

"I have to go." "Have a good day."

"You to." "Bye."

"Bye." They disconnected.

Over the next month Alexandria and John continued to talk daily. It was night time. Alexandria had just gotten back to her hotel room in Connecticut. Her cell phone rang.

"Hello?" She said.

"Hi." John said.

"Hi."

"How was your day?"

"Busy." "Yours?"

"The same." "You'll be back in LA on Thursday right?"

"Yeah."

"I'm gonna be wrestling at a house show there." "Do you want to come?"

"Sure."

"I'll leave a ticket and backstage pass for you at the box office."

"Ok."

That Thursday Alexandria was backstage at the arena. She found John's locker room and knocked on the door.

"Come in." He said from the other side of the door. She went inside. "Hi." He said smiling.

"Hi." She said smiling back. They hugged.

Alexandria and John were in catering. Randy and Kim came in.

"Randy, Kim come here." John said. "Alexandria, this is my friend Randy and his wife Kim." "Guys this is my friend Alexandria.

"Hi." Randy said. "It's nice to meet you."

"Hi." Kim said.

"It's nice to meet you both." Alexandria said.

As Alexandria watched John wrestle she could tell it was something he really enjoyed doing.

After the show Alexandria, John, Kim and Randy went to a bar. Alexandria was telling them stories about different places she'd been to to take pictures. A slow song came on the jukebox.

"I love this song." Alexandria said.

"Wanna dance?" John asked.

"Yeah." Kim and Randy got up to dance to.

Alexandria and John were dancing.

"I haven't done this in a long time." John said.

"Me neither."

About an hour later Alexandria checked her phone.

"I have to go." She said. "I'm doing a side job tomorrow."

"I'll walk you to your car." John said.

"It was nice meeting you." Randy said looking at Alexandria.

"Nice meeting you to." Alexandria said. Alexandria and John walked away.

Kim looked at Randy.

"I never thought it'd see John like that again." Kim said.

"Happy?"

"Yeah." "I mean did you notice how many times he smiled tonight?"

"Yeah I did."

"So him and Alexandria aren't dating?"

"He says no but it's obvious they have feelings for each other."

"Anyone can see that, she's great."

Alexandria and John were standing outside of her car.

"I had fun tonight." Alexandria said.

"I'm glad." "Text me when you get home."

"I will." They hugged. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight." She left.

John was having the familiar dream about Sherri. He knelt down by her body. To his surprise a second body appeared. It was Alexandria.

"No, not again." John said. "Not her."

John woke up suddenly. "Stop." He said out loud. "Please stop.
