John had been in talks to make a movie about Sherri's life for several years. It was finally happening. Filming was starting in a week. John had just got back to his hotel room from having dinner. His cell phone rang.

"Hello?" He said.

"Hi." Alexandria said.

"Hi."

"What are you doing?"

"I just got back from dinner." "What are you doing?

"Just sitting here." "I wanted to call and tell you, I'm the still photographer for Sherri's movie." "I just took the job today."

"I'll see you there." "I'll be on set for a few scenes."

"I know it'll be hard for you."

"Yeah but they want me on set to make sure it's as factual as possible."

"They're not gonna make you be on set during the scene when...

"No, no." "I couldn't anyway." "I wasn't there."

"I know I tell you this all the time but I mean it." "If you need to talk during any of this, you can talk to me."

"I know." "It will be rough but I want Sherri's story out there." "I know that's what she would want to."

A week later they were about to start filming for the day. Alexandria was checking her camera.

"Alexandria." John said from behind her.

She turned around and smiled. "Hi."

"Hi." They hugged.

"Everything's gonna be ok."

John supervised four scenes and was told he could leave.

As John was about to leave he saw the man playing Vincent Donovan. He knew it wasn't what the actor really looked like but in full costume, he looked just like him and John's stomach was in knots. He found the nearest bathroom and threw up. When he looked in the bathroom mirror afterwards his face was pale.

Later that night Alexandria was in her hotel room. There was a knock at the door. She answered it was standing there. He looked sad.

"Hi." He said.

"Hi."

"Can I come in?"

"Yeah." He went inside. They sat down on the couch. "Are you ok?"

"No." "This is just hitting me harder then I thought."

"I'm here for you." She held his hand.

"At first Sherri thought it was just a crazy fan." "He would send her letters." "His name was Vincent Donovan." "Eventually somehow he got her cell phone number." "He would call her and harrass her." "When we found out who he was we had him arrested." "Since it was only his first offense he only got community service." "She had a restraining order against him, so we thought we were fine." "We hadn't heard from him in weeks." "We were making a movie together when it happened." "The day it happened we were doing night shoots." "I had appearances all day." "When I left the hotel that day she was fine." "At around two o'clock that afternoon, I got a call saying that she'd been attacked and I had to get to the hospital immediately." "I found out later that she made it down to the lobby and asked for help." "He'd stabbed her six times and... He said with tears in his eyes. "He slit her throat." "When I got to the hospital they told me she was dead." "If I would've just stayed with that day it never would've... He looked away from her.

"John." When he looked back at her he had a tear going down his cheek. "Come here." They hugged. He held her tight. "It's ok baby." "It wasn't your fault." "It wasn't." They pulled back from the hug but were still close to each other.

"Thank you." "You don't know how much you help me." "I know it doesn't seem like it but you do." Slowly he leaned in and kissed her. It surprised her. After a few seconds she kissed him back. He laid her down slowly underneath him. She was pretty sure she knew where this was going. She hoped it was what she was thinking, she wanted it, wanted him. What she was thinking was confirmed when she felt his hands at the end of her shirt. He broke the kiss and looked at her.

"Keep going." They took off each other's shirts and kissed again. She ran her hands through his hair as he kissed her acrossed her neck. "Oh John." She moaned. His body was responding in ways he didn't think it could anymore. He got an erection. He moved to her left shoulder pulling down the bra strap and kissing it. He wanted this, he wanted her. He couldn't understand why memories of Sherri flooded his mind. The first time he told her he loved her. The night he proposed. When they got married. He stopped.

"I can't do this." He got up and put his shirt on.

"What's wrong?" She asked sitting up.

"I want this Alexandria, I do." "It's not you." "I just can't, I'm sorry." He left.

Alexandria just sat there for the next half hour. She made a really hard decision. When she went to bed that night, she cried herself to sleep.
