If sherlock actually died after jumping….

"Let me give you a little extra incentive, Moriarty says as he dangles from Sherlock's grip off the edge of the building. Sherlock cocks his head with a confused expression. "Your friends will die if you don't" Fear strikes Sherlock, "John?" He says breathily. "Not just John.." says Moriarty with a smug expression, "Everyone," Moriarty says like a threat. "Mrs. Hundson?" Sherlock says shakily going through the list of his friends. "Everyone.." Moriarty repeats. "Lestrade?" Sherlock lists getting to the end of who he would consider, 'friends.' "Three bullets...three gunman….three victims, there's no stopping them now." Anger and amusement seeps through every word Moriarty says. Sherlock jerks Moriarty towards him. "Unless my people see you jump," Moriarty whispers the promise to Sherlock. Sherlock gets lost in his thought confusion spreading through his brain. Moriarty stands back up smirking waiting for Sherlock's answer. "You can have me arrested. You can torture me…." Moriarty lists off breathing heavy. "You can do anything you like with me," Moriarty says off knowing he's defeated Sherlock. "But nothing's going to prevent them from pulling the trigger," Sherlock is frozen in thought, as Moriarty looks him up and down in amusement. "Your only three friends in the world will die," Moriarty says almost sad. "Unless..-" He whisper yells in Sherlock's face, but Sherlock cuts him off knowing fully what is going to happen, "Unless I kill myself, complete your story," Sherlock finishes with a straight face. "You've gotta admit that's sexier." Moriarty points out for amusement. Sherlock dismisses it as he finishes his previous thought, "And I die in disgrace." "Of course, that's the point of this," Moriarty says as if everyone should have known. "Go on." Moriarty encourages and Sherlock takes a step toward the edge, and steps up onto the ledge as Moriarty says, "I told you how this ends." Sherlock's breaths become labored, he is slightly shaking as he looks down to the street. "Your death is the only thing that's going to call off the killers. I'm certainly not gonna do it." Moriarty lists off with a half annoyed half monotone voice. He looks up to Sherlock, as he's now standing next to him. Sherlock is breathing even harder as he blinks to try and clear his mind, "Would you give me one moment, please?" Almost desperate-sounding Sherlock continues, "One moment of privacy…" A moment passes and when Moriarty hasn't moved Sherlock repeats this time with true sincerity, "please?" Moriarty thinks for a moment and smirks replying, "Of course." As Moriarty walks away, Sherlock lets out a breath he had been holding trying to calm down. He suddenly looks up determined and starts chuckling. As Moriarty is still walking away he can hear Sherlock laughing and he stops in his track. His smirk turning to a frown. Sherlock starts to laugh louder. Moriarty whips around in a rage, "What?" Moriarty spits. "What is it?" He says angrily. Sherlock slowly turns toward him staying on the ledge, still laughing."What did I miss?" Moriarty shouts sounding very scared and annoyed. Sherlock jumps down from the ledge back onto the roof as he struts toward Moriarty, "You're not going to do it?" He asks filtering through his thoughts. "So the killers can be called off? Then there's a recall code or a word or a number," Sherlock says finally getting it as he circles Moriarty. "I don't have to die…" Sherlock starts singing, "If I've got you-" Moriarty cuts him off chuckling, "Oh...you think you can make me stop the order….you?" He chuckles pointing to Sherlock, "you think you can make me do that?" "Yes," Sherlock says very sure of himself still circling Moriarty. "So do you…" Sherlock states. "As long as I'm alive you can save your friends," Moriarty says as he looks to the ground. "You've got a way out….well good luck with that." Moriarty smirks and then opens his mouth wide as he pulls his gun out and sticks the end into his mouth. Sherlock jumps back as just as he sees the gun "NO!" Without a second of hesitation Morirty pulls the triger. 'Boom' Sherlock's mind spins trying to figure out what to do as Moriarty lays dead on the roof. Sherlock breathes hard as the assasins get in position. Sherlock steps onto the ledge again just as Johns cabbie stops infront of the building. John rings Sherlock. "Stop there John and look up, I'm on the roof top." "Oh God," John says in disbelief. "What's going on?" "An apology," Sherlock says. "It's all true, everything they said about me….I invented Moriarty." Sherlock tries hard to lie and make John believe him. "Why are you saying this?" Sherlock musters up fake tears, "I'm a fake, the newspapers were right all along." Sherlock continues," I want you to tell anyone who will listen… that I created Moriarty for my own purposes." John doesn't believe him, "When we first met you knew about my sister." Sherlock throws back, "No one could have known about that." To finally convice John he lets a tear fall. "I researched you, before we met, I discovered everything I could to impress you." Sherlock continues, "It's all a trick, just a magic trick." Sherlock finishes with, "Please John, this phone call it's my note….it's what people do right, leave a note?" John is in utter disbelief and pain. "Leave a note when?" He knows the answer but he still asks. "Goodbye John." "Nope." John refuses to accept. Sherlock throws the phone to the side, takes a deep breath, and falls. "SHERLOCK!" John screams and watches as Sherlock's body falls and slams into the ground. The assasins pack their stuff up from thier positions. It takes John a few moments to compose himself and then he runs. Before he can get there he gets hit by a biker. John's ears ring, but he pushes himself back up to run towards the crowd surrounding Sherlocks body. Being a former doctor in the Army he shoves the people away and yells "I'm a doctor, let me come through please, he's my friend." John is almost in tears. There is blood streaming the ground. They feel his pulse, but it's gone. As an ambulence pulls up and put's Sherlock in, John is on the ground. Suddenly a voice is heard screaming, "NO!" "Nononononono, this wasn't supposed to happen like this." Most people ignore it thinking someone is just grieving. But the man continues saying, "No it was only a trick...it was fake….but-" The man gets choked up as he cries. "What do you mean fake?" John confronts the man. "He was just supposed to fall...and land on the mat, but- he, he missed." John's head is swearling to the point he passes out. When he wakes up he's on their couch in their flat. "What happened…. is Sherlock?" "Yes," Mycroft says standing in the corner looking distraugh, his whole world just collapsed seeing his dead brother. "What was that man talking about, what is going on?" Mycroft takes a breath and explains it all. Being so high up in the British government he has access to all the things that could make Sherlocks fake death real. He tells John of the plan and how they knew this would happen before it did. They would set up a giant inflatable mat hiding beyond a truck just as Sherlock fell. The plan was for John to see him fall, but from across the street not see Sherlocks body hit the ground. They would drop a dummy just to the side as a group of men would gather the mat and hide in the alley near by. A planned man was to hit John with his bike to give extra time while John was on the ground not looking. They would pour fake blood on the side walk and Sherlock would lay in it. A group of acting people would pretend to come up with a fake doctor and surround his body as final touches were finished. Knowing John would check Sherlock's pulse Sherlock would put a ball under his arm to momentarily stop his pulse on that wrist. A fake team with an Ambulence was to take him away and he wouldn't return for years until it was safe. All of thier friends were in on the plan, except for John, knowing his genuine reaction would be important. But there was a problem. Somehow Sherlock missed that mat and actually fell. The men not noticing, assuming he had already gotten off, took the mat and hid in the alley. Instead of it being fake, Sherlock actually fell to his death. John was too in shock to speak or think. How could this happen?

It took years for John and all of Sherlock's friends to get over what had happened and what they had done. John going on to never find out who Mary truely is, and ends up having a family and kids with her. Microft never finding out about his family. Mrs. Hudsan getting into drugs and dying. Molly marrying a man that will use her for the rest of her life after the grief of Sherlock. Lestrade owing his life to Sherlock and never stepping inside of the job again, just sitting in the dark for the rest of his life. And Moriarty working on his plan in the shadows that will end all of them. Without Sherlock, there is no one to save them, and they all get assasinated in the end by Moriarty.
