It had been three days since the earthquake. A lot of survivors had been found from the hotel Alexandria had been staying in. She however was not one of them. At this point it was all body retrieval missions. John and Alexandria's family were complete messes. John had left the hotel in three days, in fear of missing a call from Alexandria. His cell phone rang. He answered it praying it would be Alexandria.

"Hello?" He said.

"Have you heard anything?" Randy asked.

"Nothing."

"I'm sorry."

"Randy if she's dead, I can't take it." "I can't." "I can't lose her to." "I love her."

"I know." "You can't give up hope."

"It's hard though when they've switched from rescue missions, to body retrieval missions."

"Well they could be wrong."

"I know." "You know why I'm thinking what I'm thinking thought."

"I know but just because that ended in a certain why doesn't mean this will."

"It took me years to be happy again." "Maybe I'm just not meant to be happy." "Maybe I'm meant to die alone."

"Don't talk like that." "You know that's not true."

"I just want her with me Randy." "I want to marry her."

"Like I said, don't give up hope." "We don't know anything yet."

Alexandria was starving and severely dehydrated. Her cries for help all went unanswered. She could feel herself dying.

"John I'm sorry, I can't hang on anymore." She thought.

Just then she heard voices and sounds of rubble being moved. She was very weak but mustered all of her remaining strength and screamed.

"Help me!" "Down here!" "Please help me!"
