Kohaku was 7, almost 8 when Louis first joined the Asahina family.

He was curious then, when had mother have another child? And so quickly too? He had a new brother?

Deep in his mind, he knew Louis wasn't mother's. Mother's tummy didn't get big this time, and he can tell Louis was different from them.

But that didn't stop him from treating the boy the same. Not long after, the boy eventually became the center of his world.

Giggles became butterflies in his stomach, little adventures became endearing memories, and little trinkets brought with an elementary student's allowance became his prized possessions.

As they grew, he could tell Louis slowly got accustomed to more open affection, like hugging him and snuggling close when the family is watching movies as old as Masaomi.

Not to say he wasn't comfortable, but he just felt... too comfortable? The way Louis lays his head on his shoulder was far too natural, and Kohaku tries to brush off his thoughts by laying his head on top of the other boy's.

Yeah, this was just what brothers would do with each other. But why did Kohaku feel disappointed?

The Asahina family had a tradition of going to the summer house every year.

It was a big house, an inn almost, with a nice touch of vintage aesthetic to it. It was also surrounded by beautiful nature and tame wildlife, which makes it the best summer house ever.

After having Iori, the family seemed so much more bigger, so mother would assign rooms for them. But due to some whiny brat, (Thanks Tsubaki) mother decided to just let the rest assign their own rooms instead because Tsubaki wouldn't stop complaining about not getting to sleep with Azusa.

Did he mention the house was big? Well, the house itself was big, but the rooms were in fact a lot less than you'll expect from such a big house.

And it only had three bathrooms. The horrors.

Tsubaki wanted to sleep with Azusa and Natsume, and the youngsters like to huddle together in a room, so their layouts were kinda like this:

Masaomi, Ukyo, Kaname, Hikaru in a room; Tsubaki, Azusa, Natsume, Subaru in the other; and Iori, Yuusuke, Fuuto, Wataru and mother in the master bedroom. (With Wataru in a crib and the other three being toddlers and all)

Where is Kohaku and Louis going to sleep, you ask? In the smaller room that was the third floor, or the attic, to be simple.

Kohaku hated that attic. Sure, it was nice to have a less stuffy room, (and a whole floor to themselves) but it doesn't mean it was good.

The attic door doesn't shut properly, and there was no lock from either side of it, so Louis would push a chair against it and pray for it to hold. Because, wouldn't you be scared and insecure if your door opened in the middle of the night?

The round window in the wall was very rusted, and if you were to open it, it will probably never close up ever again. It was just so, so rusty. Thank god for the air ventilation there.

Now here comes the grand problem: the bed. It was a queen size, completed with four pillows and a big comforter that was soft and thick.

Doesn't sound like a problem? This is where you're wrong. They sleep in the same bed.

He was a hormonal teenager, fresh out of high school, and you know how some teenagers are like. They get very dirty thoughts and what if he woke up with a... a... boner, with Louis sleeping right beside him?

He shudders at the thought of ruined innocence and a tiny voice asking him about his... boner.

So he comes up with a solution: turning his back against Louis while sleeping. It shouldn't be difficult, considering Louis had that big Hamtaro plushie to hug.

He was about to drift to sleep when he felt his brother's warm, clothed body press against his bareback.

"Nii-san..." His sleepy mumble makes Kohaku squeal into his hand. Along with the words came a squeeze to his sides, and Kohaku trembles with effort to not cry right there.

Fucking adorable. What the fuck, this should be illegal.

He peeks a little over his shoulder, lifting Louis' arm gently before flipping onto his other side to face the boy. He spots to abandoned Hamtaro plushie behind the boy's sleeping form.

Kohaku chuckles, picking the Hamtaro up to slip it between his brother's arms. Louis immediately digs his hands into its soft material, hugging it closer and mumbling more incoherent words.

Kohaku coos, caressing the boy's messy hair and pinching his cheeks. Louis was a heavy sleeper, but he made sure his actions were gentle.

"I'm falling in love..." Kohaku smiles lazily at that thought, putting his head down on the pillow and watches Louis fondly. "What to do..."

In this, Louis is like, 12 and Kohaku is 19. I swear this is not pedophilia. Bye guys (•ᴗ•)*。
