Prologue: What it takes to be King
It was a cloudy day on the morning of a hunt, this Rex could feel. He looked up to the sky and could see that the clouds looked heavy with rain as they rolled over the grasslands outside the Great Valley. He had been on enough hunts to know that when ever there was a dark cloud, it meant that something would happen, and not particularly a good thing. He, his made Eda and his brother Scar-Eye were the ones lead the hunt as they had been appointed by the king, his and Scar-Eye's father. King Odin said that he had chosen the three of them as a test to see if they were worthy to be recognized as fully realized members of the pack. But when he had seen them off, King Odin told his two sons that it was also a test to see if they had what it takes to be king.
While the two brothers could respect each other from time to time, they didn't always see everything eye to eye. Scar-Eye believed that the strong should dominate over the weak and that all the other dinosaurs of the Great Valley were either to serve them or to be eaten. Whereas Rex believed that all life was equal, and that though it was unfair to take lives, he knew that it was all part of the Circle of Life. He was grateful that Eda loved that about him, trying to be fair to all forms of life.
As they crossed the grasslands without so much as a hitch, and yet they couldn't find a trace of prey either. Scar-Eye looked to the other two members of the hunting party and said, "Let's try in the woods."
"Why not by the river?" Rex suggested. His older brother looked to him with a growl and he then pointed out, "With the fresh rain that might come in, they'll go to the best water source before it gets too muddy."
"It does seem like the best option." Eda agreed. But Scar-Eye shook his head and said, "Listen, I'm in charge of this hunt, remember. Father told me to lead the hunt and I say we check within the forest." He took a step closer and questioned, "Or would you go home with no food for our pack and fail our King's test?"
Both brother's looked into the other's eye and didn't back down. Rex knew that when his brother was like this that it was best to let him have his way. Nodding he said, "Okay, Scar-Eye, we'll do it your way."
"Good." The dark black-scaled Sharptooth huffed and head for the forest. Eda came up to him and questioned, "Why do you let him always have his way? You know that it'll only boost his ego."
"Well…" Rex shrugged, "Sometimes it's just better for everyone to let the older sibling to have his way. Besides, we'll probably go to the river if don't find anything."
Though Eda didn't like letting Scar-Eye lead them like this, she didn't argue with her best friend/crush. Both the lighter black-scaled and the brown sharpteeth followed their leader into the forest. As they came to a clearing within the trees, Scar-Eye stopped as a scent came to his nostrils. Both Rex and Eda stopped as well to sniff around. A grin formed on the elder brother's face as he then uttered, "Longneck!"
"And judging by the scent," Eda said before looking about, "there are two of them."
"Then let's proceed with caution." Rex warned. Then he reminded, "We don't know what kind of Longneck we're dealing with here, so the element of surprise is crucial."
"Understood." Scar-Eye huffed before following the scent trail. Rex just rolled his eyes at his brother's thick headedness as he and Eda followed after him. They soon came to bare hill that had large enough boulders for them to hide behind. The three sharpteeth carefully walked up to the boulders and peeked around them. They all could see an adult brown Longneck standing at a few trees as she bit off a few tree stars, completely unaware of the danger she was in. Rex then said, "She's one with the long and thick tail. End's able to give a sharp pain when it cracks, but the thickness will be enough to knock us down. Plus we don't know if she's truly alone. She might try to call out for help if there's a herd nearby."
"Not if we all come at her, from the sides and from behind." Scar-Eye said to be the battle plan. Looking between them he said, "You two will come in from the sides while I pounce on her from behind and we can all finish her together."
"I've got nothing better." Eda said, slightly agreeing with the plan. Scar-Eye snorted and said, "Of course you didn't."
This caused Eda to softly growl at him. Rex was going to stop any fights when he heard a sound. The sound of a laughing child. Looking back down the hill, he could see a younger Longneck running up to his mother with a smile on his face. Quickly ducking his head, he looked to his brother and friend, "The hunt is a no go."
"What?" Both Eda and Scar-Eye said as they looked to him. Rex then gestured to the 'prey' as he said, "She's a mother, and judging from the young one I just saw, no longer for us."
"I'm not letting some brat stand in the way of us becoming true members of the pack!" Scar-Eye quietly snarled. But Rex shook his head as he said, "The pack will understand why we didn't go after this one." Then his gaze hardened as he said, "And you just want to do this to get at Longnecks and to prove that you want…"
"It has nothing to do with any of that!" Scar-Eye shouted in anger. But he gasped when he realized how loud he was. They all looked over the rocks to see the mother standing over her son protectively. The leader of the hunting party then ordered, "She's willing to stand and fight! So we'll meet her head on."
"She has a child!" Rex argued, "The law of our ancestors clearly states-"
"The laws have no say in this! The laws will not feed the pack! And the laws have no control over me!" Scar-Eye shouted back before running past Eda and down the hill. Rex's eyes went wide as he looked over the boulders and shouted, "Scar-Eye!"
But the older brother ignored his sibling as he charged towards his target. The female quickly turned around as he came closer and was able to knock Scar-Eye back. The jet black Sharptooth fell onto his back and violently thrashed as he fought to stand back up. Both Rex and Eda rushed down the hill to stop their fellow sharptooth from doing something stupid, or worse.
Scar-Eye was able to get back up and charged at her again. She came at him with another tail strike, but he was able to dodge it by ducking as it swung back. Then with his hard head, he was able to headbutt her in the side. The Longneck bellowed as she fell onto her side and looked up in horror to the predator standing over her. But before Scar-Eye could sink his fangs into the Longneck Rex came in and tackled him after jumping over the downed Longneck. Both sharptooth brother's tumbled away from the she-Longneck while Eda came up to help her. With a nudge of her head, Eda was able to get her to stand up and warned her, "Get you and your child out of here! Go now!"
The she-Longneck didn't hesitate to nudge her child away while Eda looked to the two brothers. Rex was trying to hold Scar-Eye down to buy the two Longnecks time to get away, but when the sharptooth on the ground looked over and saw his 'prey' running, an angry growl escaped him and he tried to bite at Rex. Rex moved out of the way before the wind was knocked out of him by a double kick to the chest from his brother. As Rex fell to the ground, Scar-Eye quickly stood up and gave chase. Eda tried to stop him, but the bigger sharptooth used his head to knock her away.
Scar-Eye was completely angry at the fact the prey was getting away, but even more so that his only brother would get in his way. But he swore that he would prove himself to his father by bringing in this feast for the pack. He could see that they weren't too far ahead of him, but he ran at full speed to make sure that this catch wouldn't get away from him. With a roar he got closer to his prey.
Rex and Eda quickly ran to catch up to him before it was too late. They found him and the two Longnecks by the river. Scar-Eye and the female Longneck were currently circling each other as they kept an eye on the other's movements. Rex saw that the little Longneck was hiding behind a rock as he watched the battle. The female threw another whip attack at Scar-Eye, but he was once again able to counter it by using his own tail to block it. It still hurt, but he was able to turn and tried biting at her shoulder. The female Longneck was able to step out of the way, but Scar-Eye was able to scratch her shoulder with a few teeth. She bellowed in pain as the marks ran red. But before Scar-Eye was able to do any more damage, both Rex and Eda came in and knocked him back with their heads. Scar-Eye stumbled backwards before they came at him again and were able to hold him back. While glancing over his shoulder, Rex looked to the Longneck and shouted, "Across the river! You'll be safe on the other side!"
The female Longneck called to her child and he came running up to her. She gently grabbed the skin of his back before placing him on hers. Then without hesitating, the two Longnecks walked into the water. Scar-Eye saw that they were getting away again and roared, "No!"
He was able to shove past the two and tried to stop the Longnecks before they got to deeper waters. But he was halted a third time when he was tackled from behind by Rex. Rex put all his weight into keeping his brother from getting back up. Eda looked up from the struggling brothers to the Longnecks as the two were able to get past the deeper parts and onto the other side. Scar-Eye was able to slip from under his brother and tried to give chase when Rex shouted, "Stop! You can't swim across the deep parts!"
Suddenly, a boom of thunder was heard from overhead and it started to pour on them. Water dripped from their bodies as Scar-Eye looked to the Longnecks as they glanced back. Then with an angry snarl he turned towards his hunting patrol, "I hope you're happy with yourselves. You just let our one chance go."
"We were trying to keep you from doing something that'll get you in trouble or killed. You're welcome." Eda argued. Rex then added, "You had no right to try and hunt them. Our ancestor's laws forbid us from hunting mothers with children. It's to help us all thrive."
"All I know is that Father will not be pleased by our failure." Scar-Eye retorted. Rex then countered, "I guess we'll just have to wait and see."

The rain continued to pour as the three returned to their home of Fang Rock. The rock formation was nearly as tall as the mountains surrounding it, and a long ledge jutted out from the main rock formation. The three sharpteeth trudged their way up the slope towards the largest of the caves. As they all made it to the top of the slope, they were met by the others of the pack. And immediately they were bombarded by questions such as, "How did the hunt go? Did you catch anything? Where is the fresh meat?"
But Scar-Eye moved past them with his eyes closed while Rex nor Eda made eye contact with them. They entered the cave that acted as the council's private quarters as well as a throne room. Laying on his belly on a rock acting as a throne of sorts was Rex and Scar-Eye's father, a red scaled sharptooth King Odin. King Odin looked to each of their faces and could tell that the hunt was unsuccessful. Then he said, "Do not fret, my young Tyrannosaurs. You will have another chance to prove that you are more than ready. But do not blame yourselves of this unfortunate turn of events."
"The only one here to blame is Rex." Scar-Eye was quick to say with a growl while glancing to his brother. King Odin noticed the tension in his son's voice and asked, "And why is Rex to blame?"
"Because he allowed what we were hunting to get away!" The older brother said as he glared at Rex. But before he could get in his little brother's face, King Odin quickly said, "Peace, my son. Tell me exactly what happened?"
"We found the prey that we tracked, I gave these two orders on how to take it down and they fight against me to allow it to escape." Scar-Eye told them. Odin thought about what his first born had told him and then said, "Go now, and calm yourself, Scar-Eye. With a day such as this, your anger will make you do something you might regret. Eda, you are dismissed as well."
"Yes, Father." Scar-Eye said with a nod of his head. The three watched as the dark black-scaled sharptooth walked out of the cave. Eda glanced to Rex before pressing her head against Rex's before walking out herself. When they was gone, King Odin then said, "Tell me your side of the story, my son."
"Why wait until it was just us two, Father?" Rex said in confusion. Odin then told him, "We both know how your brother can get from time to time. Always thinking that brute strength will solve the problems that come our way. And I did not want Eda to get involved with this matter." But then he shook his head, "Now tell me, Rex. What truly happened on your hunt?"
"We did follow the trail of potential prey." Rex confirmed that much was true, "But when we were about to engage, I saw that the Longneck was a mother and her child was near. I tried to keep us from harming them, but Scar-Eye was more keen on getting the hunt."
"Yes," Odin said as he began to think about it, "And with the prey being that of Longneck and given what happened with your mother, I can see why he didn't want to let them go."
"I tried to remind him of the laws you taught us…" Rex stopped as he tried to think of what to say next. King Odin saw that his second child was troubled and asked, "What is it, Rex?"
"I do not wish to get Scar-Eye in trouble when I say this but," Rex sighed as he revealed, "he said that the laws did not apply during the hunt. And from the sound of his voice and the look in his eyes, he made it sound as if he were above the law."
King Odin sighed as he knew that Scar-Eye's pride clouded his judgement. Then he said, "My son, know that your news troubles me, you were right to tell me this." With a nod of his head, the father told the son, "You may go now. I have much to think about."
Rex respectfully nodded to his father, his king and turned to walk out of the cave. When he emerged from the cave, he found Eda waiting for him as it continued to pour. They walked through the rain and Eda asked, "So, what happened in there?"
"He asked for my side of the story and I told it, from how we saw it." Rex said, slightly feeling uneasy about it. Eda could see the look on his face and said, "It wasn't your fault. Your brother was the one ignoring our laws, and you were trying to keep him from ignoring them."
"I just can't help but feel that he'll hate me for it." Rex said with a sigh. Then he added, "And he might hate you as well."
"Then he can, but it'll be his own doing and he won't have anyone on his side then." Eda quickly said. With a scoff she said, "No offence, but your brother's thick headedness might end up what gets him killed."
Rex didn't say anything as they continued walking before going into the main cave. There they could see that Scar-Eye was trying to sleep while remaining away from the other occupants of the cave. Rex and Eda joined the other tired members of the pack and laid down amongst them. As he rested his head against Eda's back, he had a clear view of his brother in the corner. Rex closed his eyes to try and sleep.

Five days later…
The entire pack stood before the ledge of Fang Rock, well almost the entire pack. King Odin, Scar-Eye and Rex stood on the ledge looking down at the rest the pack. The king then addressed the pack, "My people, today is an important day for the pack. Today is the day of who I will choose to be my successor."
This confused everyone, especially his two sons as his eldest child questioned, "What do you mean, chosen your successor. Our laws state that the mantle of king be passed on to the first born."
"Or if the king deems the first born unfit to rule." Odin reminded. Then he glanced to his Scar-Eye and said, "And I'm surprised that you wish to follow that law, but think that other laws are beneath you."
Scar-Eye's eyes widened at the mention and glanced to his younger brother with a glare. King Odin then said, "I have chosen Rex to take my place as king when my time as ruler has ended."
This completely surprised the pack, but none more so than Rex and Scar-Eye. The latter questioned of the former, "And what does he have that would make him a king?"
"He has strength, and he has heart. Two deeming qualities that he possess." King Odin commended. Rex was slightly flattered, but still unsure of his father's decision. Scar-Eye scoffed and said, "I am much stronger than him, and what do you mean he has heart?"
"His strength is not only physical, but also it is for when he can stand for his decisions and beliefs." King Odin explained. Then he added, "And with heart a heart like his, he is able to decide what decisions are best. Whether it could be taking a life, or sparing one."
"But I would make a more fit king!" Scar-Eye argued. King Odin then said, "I have made my decision. And though I know that you are not happy about it, remember that Rex will need you, and you him. You will need each other for the tough and not so tough days."
"Yes, Father." Both sons said with a boy of their heads. King Odin turned to gaze out into the horizon. Scar-Eye quickly turned and walked down the ledge, leaving Rex and Odin alone. The rest of the pack went about their business. King Odin looked to his son and said, "I imagine you have questions."
"I do." Rex nodded as he walked up next to his father. Then he asked, "Is it mostly all those things you said?"
"It was," Odin said as the two started walking down, "but it was also a fact that you proved to me the other day. If pride clouds Scar-Eye's judgement by his will, then he is not fit to be king. He will never be king if he continues on his current path."
"I hope that I do not have to take the mantle of king soon." Rex desperately wished. King Odin looked at his son with a grin and asked, "And why is that?"
"Because I do not know if I will be a great king." Rex admitted. Then he looked to his father and added, "Like you. I'm not like you. And I'm not strong like you."
"No, you're not." King Odin bluntly said. Though a little hurt by his words, he was then proven wrong when his father said, "You're stronger and you'll likely be an even greater king." Then glancing to his son he said, "And no one ever said that you had to be like me."
"I will try my best, father." Rex promised. He sounded firm as he said, "I will try to be a good king."
"I know." King Odin said as he stopped at the beginning of the ledge. Rex stopped too and Odin pressed his head against his son's in a fatherly manner and said, "That's why I chose you."
Without another word, King Odin walked off to one of the caves. Rex watched his father go, but was unsure of what path to take at this point. Unfortunately, their conversation did not go unnoticed as Scar-Eye was hiding behind a section of rock that went into one of the caves. His eyes narrowed in anger from what his father said, but he snorted as he knew that there were other ways to becoming king.

Three weeks later…
It was a night of feasting for the pack as Rex, Eda, Scar-Eye and a scarred brown female named Roberta brought in a few Threehorns. Each of them was able to catch at least five, and while Rex, Eda and Roberta were able to drag one each, Scar-Eye had grabbed the remaining two's tails and dragged them back to Fang Rock.
When they had come to the base of the rock formation, Scar-Eye let loose a roar to signal the rest of the pack that they were back. The pack came down the slope to join in the feast. Before the sharpteeth could enjoy the meal, they looked to King Odin who was the last to join them. With a smile he said, "You have all proven that you are capable hunters, and are ready to become full members of the pack."
King Odin then joined the pack and said, "Come and receive the king's blessing."
Rex, Scar-Eye, Eda and Roberta all joined together as they made their way to the king. Eda was the first to approach her leader and the King of the Great Valley. She had a small smile as he said, "Eda, from the moment you had hatched, I could tell that you would make an extraordinary hunter. But you have also surprised me and your teachers with your compassion. And it is with joy that I fully welcome you as one of the pack."
Eda respectfully bowed to him and he placed his forehead against hers. When he backed away, she went back to stand with the others. Scar-Eye was the next to step forward and his father told him, "Scar-Eye, you have proven your worth to the pack. May your strength help the pack in the future. Come and be a full member of this pack."
Scar-Eye bowed to his father and Odin placed his forehead against his. Odin then removed it and Scar-Eye walked back to the line. Roberta was the next to walk up to the leader of the pack. King Odin said, "Roberta, you have much raw talent that is still buried beneath the surface. But I am sure that you will discover it in due time. I now welcome you as a full member of the pack."
Roberta bowed her head and her king placed his forehead against hers. She repeated the actions of the previous two sharpteeth and Rex was the last one to walk up. Rex looked into his father's good eye as the older sharptooth said, "Rex, these past few weeks have shown me that you have a way of hunting unlike any other in the pack. How you are able to make decisions for the best course of action, and you are capable fighter. I welcome you into the pack."
Rex bowed his head to his father and Odin placed his forehead against his youngest son's. When they parted, Odin motioned for Scar-Eye to come closer and told his sons, "When you have had your share, meet me at the top of Fang Rock, please."
"Yes, Father." Both Scar-Eye and Rex nodded. King Odin said not another word before turning to walk back up the slope of Fang Rock. While Scar-Eye turned and went to join in the feast, Rex found it puzzling as to why his father wanted to see just the two of them and also did not partake in the feast. His attention was soon pulled away when Eda pushed him forward with his head as she smiled. Rex chuckled as he waited his turn to take his share of the food.
While the rest of the pack continued to feast, Rex and Scar-Eye slowly made their way up the rock formation. Scar-Eye then asked, "What do you think father wishes to talk to us about?"
"I'm not sure." Rex said as they came around a bend, "But I hope that it is nothing terrible."
"Maybe it has something to do with us." Scar-Eye said, though his tone caused Rex to pause. Without looking to his little brother, Scar-Eye then said, "I wish to apologize for my reaction to Father's choice."
Rex knew what he was talking about, but stayed silent as Scar-Eye continued, "I do not wish to continue to hold a grudge like this against you, Brother." He glanced with his right eye as he said, "I want to remain by your side during your reign as king."
"I'm touched, my brother." Rex said with a nod, "I think there is a chance for the both of us to lead this kingdom together."
"I would like nothing more." The elder brother said. The two sharpteeth soon reached the top of the rock formation where their father waited. The older sharptooth was laying on his belly as he gazed down to the world below them. Rex and Scar-Eye laid down on both sides of their father and waited for him to tell them.
King Odin sighed before he said, "I did not wish to burden you, my sons." They became confused as he said, "I did not want to place sorrow and confusion on your hearts."
"What are you saying, Father?" Scar-Eye said, not liking how his father was talking. Rex then added, "We are here for you, Father. Whatever is troubling you, we can face it together. All three of us."
But King Odin shook his head before saying, "I'm afraid not, my sons. I do not mean to make your hearts heavy when I tell you…" He stopped to take a deep breath, "That I can feel it. That my time is coming."
Both Rex and Scar-Eye were aware what he meant and the former said, "But the illness that Rai, the Rainbow Face shaman, had predicted would not come for quite some time."
"But he did give me a warning should it happen sooner. That I could feel when my time would come." King Odin reminded. He gazed out to the horizon and said, "Your mother, it's faint, but I can hear her calling to me."
"I don't here anything." Rex shook his head. Odin chuckled and then said, "I don't truly expect you to hear it. Not right now, any ways."
Neither of the brothers understood his words, but knew that their father hardly ever lied. Odin looked between them and said, "It will be up to the both of you to keep the peace in the Great Valley."
"And we will, Father." Rex promised before pressing his head into his father's shoulder, the feeling of sadness creeping into his heart. Scar-Eye soon followed his brother and pressed his head against Odin's other shoulder. When they both stopped, all three royal sharpteeth looked to the horizon.

Three days later…
It was nearly dawn as King Odin, Prince Scar-Eye and Prince Rex all stood on the outskirts of Fang Rock. The entire pack stood behind them as King Odin turned to address his whole family, whether by blood or not. The entire pack felt the sorrow welling in their hearts. Their king then said, "I will not tell you not to weep, but do not be truly sad for me. Know only that my time in the Circle of Life is complete. And I consider it as a true honor to be amongst you, to serve alongside you and to guide you in life.
"But now you must look to another for that guidance." King Odin said before looking to Rex. With a smile he said, "Rex, I now pass on the mantle of king over the Great Valley over to you."
"And I humbly accept it, Father." Rex said, still feeling unsure of it. Odin could tell of his son's uncertainty and told him, "My son, never doubt yourself and trust in those you can."
"Yes, King Odin." Rex respectfully said with a bow of his head. But his father only chuckled and said, "You no longer have any need to call me that, my son." Rex raised his head as he said to the pack, "Behold! Your new king, King Rex!"
"All hail, King Rex!" Scar-Eye shouted at the top of his lungs. The rest of the pack followed his lead and shouted, "All hail!"
"Hail!" Rex could hear Eda shout. They stopped chanting as they could tell that Odin wanted to say something, "I now part from the pack as I make my way to the River of the Common, where all those who pass on may do so in peace."
With that said, Odin turned and began making his way to his final destination. King Rex looked to his subjects and said, "Go about your business. My brother and I wish to have final words with our father."
"We understand, my King." Eda said and turned to direct the others of the pack. Rex smiled in appreciation to this before he and Scar-Eye moved to catch up to their father.
Odin did not slow his place nor did he quicken it as his two sons caught up with him. Scar-Eye was the first to speak, "I wish you did not have to go, Father."
"We do not know how to carry on without your guidance." King Rex added. Odin stopped, and the two younger sharpteeth did the same. Looking up to the sky as it started to turn to day, he then said, "Allow me to give you one final piece of advice. When ever you feel as if you are alone, look up to the stars, for the great kings of the past are looking down upon you. And so will I."
Both Rex and Scar-Eye looked up to watch as the stars slowly faded as the dawn came. When they looked to their father, they could see that he was already on the move again. Scar-Eye turned to walk back to Fang Rock, while Rex watched his father walk. Never once did Odin look back, but Rex also didn't follow him. Sitting on the ground, he sighed when he could no longer see his father.
Rex sat there for who knows how long and then considered going back. He soon felt a presence behind him and when he glanced back, he saw Eda standing there. King Rex then joked, "I thought I told you to wait for me to come back."
"And I did." Eda said as she walked up next to him. Then with a smirk she said, "But you were taking forever."
Both she and Rex lightly chuckled to this, before his face fell as he looked to where he last saw his father. Eda noticed his change in mood and said, "What's wrong, Rex?"
"It's just that," Rex sighed as he didn't know what to say about it, "I don't know how to be a good king."
"Oh." Eda said as she glanced down before plopping down next to him. Then with a shrug she said, "Maybe you'll just have to see how it goes along the way."
"See how it goes?" Rex questioned while quirking an eyebrow at her. Eda then said, "Well you could turn out to be a great king." Then with a mischievous grin she then added, "Or you could be a bad king."
Rex felt a little insulted by that particular comment. But knew that she was mostly messing with him as she then added, "Not to mention that you could be a lazy king, smelly king, an immature king."
"You know that it's immature to say that I'd be immature, right?" Rex lightly questioned. Eda snickered and said, "And that was entirely immature right there!"
"Oh I'll show you immature!" Rex growled before lunging at her. He tackled right into her and the two sharpteeth tumbled across the ground. When they came to a stop, Rex tried to hold her down, but she was able to escape his grip when she reached up and licked his cheek. Rex backed away as he found it an odd tactic and she crawled from his grip and quickly stood up. Then moving a few feet away from him she looked back as he shook his head. Rex looked to her and they both started to laugh.
Eda then said, "Plus, you'll have your brother to help you out. Kind of like an advisor that you can trust."
"But he wouldn't have to be my only advisor." Rex then said. This slightly caught Eda off guard and she asked, "What do you mean?"
"Well, with every great king," Rex started as he stepped closer to her. He didn't get too close and said, "they have a great queen by their side."
"Are you asking me to-" Eda tried to ask. Rex nodded and said, "I know that you've had a crush on me for a while. And I have to be honest…" He had a smile on his face as he said, "I really like you as well."
A smile formed on her face as he asked, "Eda, will you marry me and become my mate for life?"
A cry of joy escaped from her as she nodded, "Yes."
Then rushing up to him she pressed up against him and he returned the embrace in full. The two sharpteeth then made their way back to Fang Rock.

Author's Note: And here is how the wheel is set into motion. I'm not sure how it truly happened for Mufasa, Sarabi and Scar. We get to the actual story of the parody in the next chapter. And just to let you know, there will be a few differences to the actual Lion King story, just like how I did in a few past parodies. And I'm willing to bet that you all know who King Odin was portrayed by. I'm also willing to bet you know who Scar-Eye truly is. If you have guesses, I wouldn't mind a little review or PM telling me. I look forward to reading your reviews. Be sure to leave a comment either about if I've done something wrong or if you want something specifically to happen. See you next time.
