And they were back here at the summer house.

Kohaku heard from Azusa that the family had came here last summer with their new stepsister, without Tsubaki, Louis, Iori, Yuusuke and him.

Since Ema was a girl, and had Miwa's room to herself, they had to move things from the storage room to the basement to accommodate the remaining boys.

But Kohaku still had the attic with Louis, so he didn't care.

He lays on the big, worn bed comfortably, and all alone because Louis went to assist Tsubaki in dying his hair. (Also to stop Tsubaki from tearing the bathroom down.)

"Kohaku-san?" Ema's timid voice made him turn robotically towards her. She peeks in with a pink face, seemingly scared that Kohaku would chew her up.

"Yeah?"

"Ukyo-san told me to get you for lunch."

Kohaku begrudgingly got up from his comfortable space. Of all the times Ukyo could've called him, he had to do so now.

"Thanks."

He walks past Ema and down to the living room, where Hikaru was reading.

"Haku-nii, finally decided to join us?" Hikaru glances up from his book, amusement evident on his face as usual.

Kohaku nods, scratching his back as he walks into the kitchen. "You decided to call me for lunch after everyone had lunch? You're a meanie, Kyo-nii."

"Louis and Tsubaki haven't had lunch yet either. They had a commotion earlier because Tsubaki apparently wanted to dye his own hair pink."

"Whoa, did he?" Kohaku smirks, the sight of hot pink haired Tsubaki would surely be a sight to behold.

"No. Louis beat him to it and told him how ugly that would be, I must say I agree."

"Shame."

"Kyo-nii, I heard that!" Tsubaki walks out of the bathroom with his freshly dyed white hair. "I just wanted to try out, you know, a new style!"

"That would surely be a disaster," adds Louis, who disposes of his gloves and takes off his face mask.

"Louis' right. Thankfully he's such an angel to shield everyone from your ugliness by stopping you."

"Haku-nii!" Tsubaki gasps, before darting away from the kitchen. "Azusa, Haku-nii is bullying me!" The three of them could heard him whine.

Ukyo serves up two bowls of tensoba for them.

"I've put Tsubaki's in the fridge. He can heat it up himself," Ukyo takes off his tabby printed apron and leaves the kitchen.

Chewing sounds could be heard as both of them ate silently, with Kohaku occasionally slurping the noodles.

"Louis."

"Hm?" Said man glances at him through his long bangs.

"Want to go on a walk later?" Kohaku asks, taking another mouthful of noodles. "We haven't done that in a while."

Kohaku remembered once he had made 12 year old Louis cry because he slipped and hit his head on the slippery stones of the river.

Of course there was a bridge, but what's the fun in that? They had taken a detour to the deeper parts of the forest, where there were stepping stones all the way to the other side. It was a small wound, but the water had amplified the amount of blood by a lot and scared the young boy.

That day they went home in the evening, Kohaku drenched from head to toe with a bleeding forehead and a crying Louis.

Louis thought for a while, "Not really, I want to take a nap."

"Cat nap?"

"A long one," Louis smiles. "I'm a little tired from dealing with Tsubaki-nii-san just now."

Kohaku's mouth from an O shape, and he nods in understanding.

"Want to sleep together?" Louis asked innocently enough to make Kohaku almost choke on soup.

Kohaku gawked at him, his double chin making an appearance, making Louis laugh.

"I never knew you had a double chin."

"It's skin, okay? Very loose skin," Kohaku crosses his arm, turning away from Louis with his face flushed.

"Alright. So, do you want to?"

Kohaku weighed his options. He could bother Hikaru or Kaname, like he always did when Louis wasn't around, or he could spend his afternoon sleeping next to his favourite brother.

As if he would let the latter slip out between his fingers.

"Sure," Kohaku replies, much more casually than he thought. "But isn't it bad to sleep after having lunch?"

"We're not going anywhere anyways," Louis finishes his tensoba and stands to out it away into the sink.

"True..."

"And it's boring. Nobody would be here except for Hikaru-nii-san, Ukyo-nii-san, Chii-chan and the triplets."

Well, Kohaku was absolutely convinced.

Now Kohaku was back in the attic, getting comfortable like he did before lunch.

Kohaku had quit sleeping without a shirt a long time ago. It felt inappropriate ever since Louis started junior high and got a growth spurt and had his baby fat melt into lean muscles.

Nice, lean muscles was one of Kohaku's weaknesses. Along with smooth skin, pretty eyes, a gentle smile... you get the idea.

"Kohaku-nii-san," Louis walks into the room, drying his hair with one hand. He pushes the chair against the door behind him.

Kohaku should probably install a lock or something.

He watches as Louis pulls out the old hairdryer from under the desk and plugs it in.

"Be careful with that, you won't know when it decides to light your hair on fire."

Louis turns his head just to give him a look. "At least it works. Hikaru-nii-san kept complaining about the faulty one in the second bathroom."

Unknown to Louis, Kohaku was having a teenage girl meltdown right now.

Is it illegal for pants to be this tight? Kohaku zones in onto Louis' well rounded ass. And what are you wearing? We're just sleeping right?

Louis was in Kaname's old Gudetama shirt, which was way bigger than he was.

That shoulder was literally begging to be marked.

Shudders went up Kohaku's spine at that thought, and he turns away, his eyes wide like he saw heaven.

Well, that couldn't be far from the truth.

"I hear the sound of a working hairdryer!" Hikaru bumps against their door, pushing it open with his shoulder and stopping Kohaku's ogling.

"It's a fan," Louis jokes, holding the obviously working hairdryer in his hand.

"Can you lend it to me after this?" asks Hikaru. "My hair's all half dry and frizzy!"

"Sure."

Hikaru wanders in, sitting next to Kohaku. He turns to obviously red faced Kohaku with a cunning expression.

"So you're here living the life, hm?" He whispers, pinching his elder brother's cheek.

Kohaku scrunched up his face in question.

Hikaru glances at Louis, and then his eyes lowered. "The life," he repeated silently.

He was so amused to hear Kohaku gasp so deeply like he was drowning.

"Don't be so perverted, Hikaru!" He hisses, pushing his younger brother. "I'm not doing anything..."

"Not yet."

Kohaku leers at Hikaru, the crossdresser giving a hearty laugh which made Louis turn around. Now that his hair was dry and fluffy and had oil applied, he holds out the hairdryer to his elder brother.

"Ah, thank you Louie-chan!" Hikaru takes it gleefully, like he and Kohaku didn't just have an inside joke exchange.

"Sure."

Louis collapses onto the bed and hugs the blanket to his chest.

"Hey, leave some of the blanket for me," Kohaku pouts, tugging on the stolen blanket.

Louis giggles, rolling over to take the blanket out of his reach.

"Hey!"

One thing you should always be aware of when you sleep with Louis is that you're always the one to accommodate to him, not the other way around.

Not like it was intentional, but Louis is simply just too deep in sleep to even hear you.

Kohaku shifts when Louis clings onto him, squeezing his body with warmth. His arm was in an awkward position, stretched out to make sure Louis' head was in a comfortable position and to not disturb the peace on his face.

But the view was great. Such an angel this man was, to have his sleeping face so goddamn attractive.

All of his willpower was dedicated to not having a boner.

Honey scented shampoo should be banned in this household. He smells so good, and what vanilla hair oil was this? Made his hair so soft.

Now for the dirty parts.

Kohaku can feel Louis' crotch against his hip, and Louis' thigh was brushing against his crotch.

Louis' extremely old shirt had shifted along with him, revealing that pale shoulder that used to give Kohaku wet dreams.

"So you're here living the life, hm?"

Damn you, Hikaru. You're just jealous you're not in his place right now.

Hikaru knows what's up...
