Hi Everyone, so I have no excuses for why this is so late. I just had no idea what to write, no inspiration until today. It may have taken more than a year, but I deliver you another chapter. I hope that you enjoy it. It was an interesting one to write.

Amelia removed her hand from Satoshi's head and slowly stood up. Feeling the comforting warmth disappearing from his head, Satoshi raised his pitiful face and froze. Seeing his parents Satoshi jumped up only to sway to the side. Catching his brother Takashi slowly placed him back on the leather couch and stood next to Ameila. The parents of the two teenagers next to her looked as imposing as the rumors. Adorned in traditional attire the married couple looked like they belonged in a castle away from the eyes of the common people. Coupled with their regal disposition Amelia could completely see why all of those stories she heard were true. Wiping the tears from his face Satoshi inched his way towards the end of the couch and gave introductions.
"Mom, Dad. I would like to introduce to you my savior, Hero-san. Hero-san these are my parents."
"It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Amelia Creed, I apologize that we had to meet in this manner." Amelia said with a bow, motioning to her stained clothes.
"The pleasure is ours Miss Creed. My wife and I would like to thank you for saving our son, the debt we owe can never be repaid." The boys' parents gently went to their knees and gave a formal bow.
"I was just doing my duty Sir, Madam. I am a soldier." Amelia responded and went into parade rest. Despite having a relaxed personality, Amelia was always serious about things she believed were her duty. Others wouldn't understand why a young girl would decide to enter into the military, but for Amelia it was a way of life. It's not that she never thought of going down a different path, she just truly loved what she did and believed that she couldn't picture herself doing anything else.
"Let us get you a change of clothes, I apologize for that earlier incident. We will have someone escort you to a guest room in the meantime. We will discuss the matter of repayment at a later date." The mother of the boys said.
"As I mentioned earlier I have no need of payment for saving your son, it is my job. I accept your thanks so please let us leave it at that. In regards to the accident that happened earlier, I believe repayment should fall upon the parties responsible. "
"As you wish. Takashi, please escort our guest to the nearest room. Have a maid prepare clothes for her to wear. Satoshi, come with us. We need to bring you to receive an examination. Until we meet again Miss Creed." With those parting words the couple left the room while a maid escorted Satoshi closely behind.
"Goodbye Hero-san. I will miss you. Don't forget about me." Rolling her eyes at the concussed teen Amelia relaxed into a more comfortable stance. It's not everyday that you meet old money, that was terrifying. I would rather not do that again… ever.
"Come with me." Takashi said holding out an arm for Amelia to grab. Pulled from her thoughts Ameila gladly took the arm. Anyway that she didn't have to put weight on her knee she would happily take.
The two walked further into the mansion, passing by a few rooms before arriving at a door. Takashi opened the door and mentioned that a maid would be in shortly. Saying her thanks Ameila threw her hat on a chair while she hobbled to the bed. She gracefully flopped like a starfish closing her eyes, face planted into a pillow. She remained like that for a few minutes before finally deciding that she had to use the bathroom. Much to her utter dismay she removed herself from the bed and went to a door that looked like the bathroom. Opening the door she saw a young woman struggling to get out of a dress with a light brown wig half falling off her head. A suit hung on the shower rod which looked to be the woman's size.
"GAH! I am so sorry. I had no idea someone was in here." Amelia said as fast as it took her to process the information. She hurriedly tried to slam the door shut.
"Wait! Please don't go! I'm stuck. Could you please help me out? There are a few people I definitely don't want barging in and seeing this." The girl said half throwing herself at the door to keep it open. Feeling for the girl Amelia opened the door back up and stepped back inside.
"Yes I can help you, I have been stuck before so I completely understand. I don't know what your plan is with that wig but you might want to either put it on or take it off. The half on half off isn't a good look if I am being honest." Amelia said jokingly trying to work the zipper loose in the back.
"Believe me if I had my way I wouldn't have shown up in a dress in the first place." The girl giggled removing the wig from her head.
"My name is Haruhi, Fujioka Haruhi. Thanks for saving me there. I was in a rough spot." Haruhi said looking up at the woman before her.
"You're not the only one who had a rough night. My name is Amelia Creed. You can just call me Amelia." She said motioning to her clothes.
"Ah, are you that American Mori-senpai mentioned? Hero-san? The person who saved his brother? I guess that makes you my hero too Hero-san!" Haruhi said cutely with a slight head tilt.
"Seriously? That's how they talk about me? Don't I get a name?" Amelia said frustrated that her identity is still based on the words 'hero' and 'san'.
"I will call you Amelia if that is how you truly feel about it."
"Thank you, that really means a lot. Ah, I got it! That was really stuck there. Now I don't mean to rush you Haruhi, but I really have to use the bathroom. So if you could finish putting on your clothes I would appreciate it." Amelia said trying not to look totally uncomfortable.
"Oh! I'm so sorry! I will go as fast as I can." Haruhi said quickly jumping into her pants and throwing a shirt on.
"I will just wait out here, I would love to talk some more. Especially to a NORMAL person for once." Haruhi responded, grumbling her last sentence. Slightly confused but ignoring it Amelia slammed the door shut determined to finish the reason she got up. A couple minutes later the soldier walked out of the bathroom seeing Haruhi sitting on a chair holding her hat.
Looking at the hat Haruhi looked deep in thought. "What made you want to join the military. Was it a difficult decision?"
Amelia sat down on the bed looking at the younger girl. "Well, my parents are both in the Navy, and unlike other kids who grew up in the military system I wanted to be a part of it. The work that I saw them doing, actually made a difference to people you know? I guess I just wanted to make a difference too. I did end up sitting down with them, talking about what it meant to be a soldier and I still wanted to do it, so here I am. What about you, do you have any idea what you want to do?"
"Well, I have always dreamed of being an attorney like my Mom was. I know its a lot of work and I will get there some day, but sometimes, I don't know, it seems out of reach." Haruhi said stroking the hat in her hands.
Amelia was silent for a moment before she responded. "Well, you said that Takashi was your senpai right? The fact that you go to Ouran is a step in the right direction. Might be considered a great step even. I think that as long as you know what smaller goals you need to accomplish in order to get to your bigger goal, it will be easier. You don't learn to run before you can walk right? Just take it one step at a time and stay focused, but still make sure you have fun. You are only a kid once."
"Thank you Amelia. That is really helpful. It's hard to talk about this with my friends when they come from money." She said giving the hat back to Amelia.
"No worries, anytime you want to talk, just let me know. Here, I will give you my number. We did just go through a battle together. " Amelia said with a laugh. The two girls continued to talk some more when a sharp knock rattled off on the door.
"Oh, I believe my clothes have arrived." Amelia said as she stood up heading towards the door. Upon opening the door she saw Takashi with clothes in his arms. Saying her thanks she grabbed them and noticed a familiar looking blonde haired main standing next to him followed by a pair of twins. Before she could address their presence the blonde haired man looked past her to see her guest.
"Haruhi! Why aren't you wearing that very pretty dress that we brought for you? I wanted to take a family pic—" Amelia slammed the door interrupting whatever the teen had to say.
"Those were the friends you were talking about?"
"...Yup"
Well, that was it. I wasn't sure if I wrote Haruhi well, but I figured that even she would have concerns about her future that we never saw. I would still consider myself a novice writer so any feedback you have at all is appreciated. I hope you all have a great day/night.
