Three Years Later...
Kagome hummed to herself as she swept the Shrine grounds. It was a quiet fall day, and the visitors to the Shrine was a little on the slow side. The only guests now were some older teens.
She glanced over at them only to giggles a little.
There were two boys and a girl.
The blonde with glasses was drawing around his tired black haired friend, the girl was egging them on.
She had offered to give them the tour, but they had politely declined.
As she watched them she didn't notice the little sounds of footsteps until she felt two little bodies slam into her legs. Kagome let out an 'eep' as she went tumbling down onto her butt.
"Ha! I got to her first Izu, that means I win!"
"No, I got here first, right Kagome?"
Kagome blinked past the pain from the fall, to see two little boys looking up at her expectantly. She grinned and drew them in for a hug.
"It was a tie you two!" She kissed them both on the cheek. Izuku preened under the attention, but Katsuki blushed and pretend to gag.
Kagome giggled as she listened to him complain and push half-heartedly at her face as she tried to kiss his chubby cheeks more.
Kagome heard laughter and glanced over to see the teens from early looking at the scene they were making. She girl was blushing and had her hands on her cheeks, as she seemed to coo at them. The blond boy was just grinning widely, and the tired one took this as his chance to escape. He was now laying down on the bench underneath the Sacred Tree, Goshinboku.
"Come one you two, don't bruise the poor girl."
Kagome looked up from the two boys to see a grinning Mitsuki, and a worried Inko.
"Are you okay Kagome, dear? Boys let the poor girl up!" Inko fussed as she helped the young teen off the ground.
Once Kagome was on her feet again she dusted herself off.
"Don't worry Auntie, I'm used to getting trampled by now. Honestly, if they didn't greet me that way I'd be worried they were sick." she giggled and ruffled their hair.
"Now, not that I'm unhappy to see you. But what are you all doing here?"
Mitsuki and Inko looked confusedly at one another, "Didn't your mother tell you? We were going to take a day out with just the three of us."
"Eh?"
Before Kagome could question anymore her mother came out of the house with her purse on her shoulder, Her warm brown eye looked to see everyone staring ar her.
"Oh...Did I forget something?"
Mitsuki laughed, "I'd say so! Why is Kagome so shocked she is babysitting?"
Michi's eyes widened, as she placed her hand on her cheek in embarrassment, "Oh right! I'm sorry Kagome you don't mind watching the little ones, do you? You don't have to worry about Souta, after all, he is staying at a friends house. You Grandfather should also be back soon."
Kagome glanced at the puppy-dog looked being flashed at her, not only from the kids, but the mothers too...how unfair...but...
Kagome smiled softly, "I don't mind. I love spending time with two of my favorite terrors."
Izuku cheered as Katsuki just smirked.
Michi caressed Kagome's cheek as she walked by, "You are a dear, my little bird."
Kagome flushed when she overheard the older teen across the courtyard coo again, "Yeah, Yeah. You guys go have fun!"
After they waved the women goodbye, she turned to the expecting faces of the two kids.
"Alight we can play once I'm done sweeping okay."
Izuku and Katsuki grinned at one another, before shouting that they wanted to help. Kagome giggled but headed to the shed none the less.
After rummaging in the old room she turned to them with a smaller broom and a dustpan. "Alrighty, who wants what?"
Katsuki as quick to take to the broom, which caused Izuku to pout as he took the pan.
Kagome watched as the two boys tried their best to sweep, but really only making more dirt. Her gaze turned fond as she saw the determined gleam in their eyes.
With a stretch, Kagome's back popped. "Welp were all done, Katsuki, Izuku. You guys did great thanks for the help!"
The two grinned up at her with their cheeks smeared with a bit of dirt.
Just as they put away the brooms, and were heading towards the house a voice called out that made Kagome freeze slightly.
"Well if it isn't the Quirkless Priestess!"
Kagome tried to keep walking as she ushered the confused boys away, but felt someone grip her shoulder hard and physically turn her.
"Oi Higurashi I'm talking to ya!"
Holding tightly onto Kagome's arm was a tall boy with spiky black hair, the tips looking like metal, his steel-grey eyes narrowed on her as a smirk spread across his face.
Kagome narrowed her own blue eyes at the boy, "What do you want Ginto?" she asked as she tried to pull her arm from his grip.
"Come on now Ka-go-me~ Don't be like that. Hey, what highschool are you applying for? Maybe we can go to the same one, after all, someone has to look out for you. After all who knows what could happen to someone a vulnerable as you."
Kagome sneered at the remake, but before she could do anything Ginto looked down confused.
Katsuki hitting at his leg, and Izuku was pulling on his shirt trying to get him away from Kagome.
"Eh, get off me ya brats."
He kicked his leg out to knock Katsuki down, who was now glaring at the bigger teen. Izuku also had narrowed eyes from being knocked down by Katsuki when he fell.
"You meanie! Let go of Kagome." Izuku said as he stood back up a frown on his usually smiling face.
"Yeah, before I beat you down!" Katsuki barked his fists raised.
Kagome glared at the black-haired teen ready to kick him, how dare he mess with her boys!
Before anyone could do anything, a pale hand grip tightly onto Ginto's arm.
"Let the girl go." A tired voice said.
Kagome looked to see it was the tired-looking black haired teen from earlier.
"Oh? Are you going to make me? You look like you're about to kill over." Ginto sneered.
The teen just narrowed his eyes and gripped Ginto's arm tighter causing him to flinch from the pain, you could practically hear the boy's bone creek under the pressure.
"Unless you want your wrist broke then you let go." The man's black eyes flash red, which caused Ginto to let go of Kagome in shock and stumble back.
He stepped in front of Kagome his glare still on the boy his hair seeming to move about without any wind.
"Whatever! I'll see you Monday Higurashi!" He stated in defiance but bolted when the older teen took a threatening step towards him with narrowed eyes.
He turned his tired eyes to Kagome, "Are you okay?"
Kagome rubbed at her arm where he had gripped her, "Yeah I'm fine, thank you for the help."
He shrugged, but before he could do anything he felt an arm draped across his shoulder, and a loud voice crooned. "Woah, who knew Sho could play Knight in Shining Armor? Eh, Nemuri. Did you know?"
The girl now known as Nemuri giggled as she had a sly look on her face, "Why no I didn't Hiazshi who knew?"
Kagome held back a giggled as watched as the man seemed to groan and wilt under the teasing of his friends.
Izuku and Katsuki were soon standing in front of the three older teens who all stopped to look down at the small children.
"That was pretty cool!" Katsuki praised trying not to sound too impressed.
"Yeah like a hero!" Izuku agreed readily with stars in his eyes.
Nemuri and Hizashi looked at one another and laughed hard holding their stomachs, from how hard they were laughing.
The two boys looked at them confused, while the tired teen just shook his head.
Kagome raised an eyebrow at the antics before holding her hand out to her rescue, "Thanks again. My name is Kagome Higurashi."
He stared at her hand for a bit before he shook it with a sigh, "Shouta Aizawa, the two dying beside me are Nemuri Kayama, and Hizashi Yamada."
Kagome smiled at them warmly. "Nice to meet you," She placed one hand on each of the kid's fluffy hair, "And these two gremlins are Izuku Midoriya, and Katsuki Bakugou. My honorary littler brothers. Now would you all like to come in for some tea? As a thank you?"
Aizawa looked hesitant so she added, "I have cake too."
before he could decline two arms looped with his and was dragging him towards the house, "Yeah! free cake!" "I can't wait to see inside it looks so charming and cute on the outside of the house!"
Katsuki and Izuku grinned at one another, as they followed after the three teens. But Katsuki stopped and came back to take Kagome's hand, "Come one Kagome! We want cake!"
Kagome giggled as she picked him up, much to his embarrassment, only stopping again to pick up Izuku before heading into her house with her guests.
