A/N: Now comes Chomper's ascension as king. And I got a little bit planned for this chapter. I do hope that you enjoyed this story, 'cause it's the last Lion King story that I'm gonna do for a while, even though I said right that after Tyrannosaur Queen. But I will give you a sneak preview of what I have planned for the next parody.

Chapter Fifteen: Chomper's Ascension

The flames still burned all over Fang Rock as the battle had ended. But suddenly a boom of thunder rang overhead. All the Big Biters and Chomper's friends looked up as it started to pour heavy for the first time in ages. The rain was enough to stop the fire and a large cloud of steam enveloped the entire rock structure. The Fast Biters had deserted the area. Everyone took deep relieving breaths as the time of struggle was over. Cera, Ducky, Spike and Petrie emerged from the fog and looked about for their friend. Pterano, Rai and Ruby all looked over the injured to check for any serious wounds.

Up on the path coming down from the top of Fang Rock, Chomper gritted his teeth from the stinging pain as the rain touched his wounds. Though it did feel good to feel against his scales, Chomper knew that he needed to get back to the pack and his friends. He soon came down to the end of the path and walked by Pterano as the Flier sat up on a rock. Pterano bowed to the purple Sharptooth in respect as he continued down towards the pack. Chomper walked by a few and they gave him a few friendly nudges as he passed by. He soon found his mother standing next to the stone steps.

With a smile, Chomper walked up to Eda and the two were able to embrace each other. The mother and son held onto each other for a moment longer. When they stopped the embrace, Chomper looked his mother in the eye and apologized, "I'm so sorry that I ran away."

"It's okay." Eda said as she nuzzled her son. Then placing a two-clawed hand under his chin she said, "What matters now is that you're home. And your father would be very proud of you."

Chomper's grin grew to her words before he pressed his forehead against his and Eda smiled as she returned the gesture. They looked to the side to see Scales walking up to them. Chomper broke away from his mother and pressed his head against hers. Scales then did her best to wrap her arms around him and Chomper returned the embrace. The sound of rattling drew everyone's attention. They all looked up the stone steps to see both Rai and Ruby standing at the top. Rai gestured with his staff. Understanding what he meant, Chomper broke away from the pack and started to walk up towards the stone steps. But before he could walk up them, Cera, Spike, Ducky and Petrie all walked up to him. They all bowed as a sign of respect to him, but Chomper only smiled as he grabbed Petrie and Ducky into an embrace. Cera and Spike joined in and Chomper said, "I couldn't have done this without you guys. Thank you all so much."

"Aw, he's getting sappy on us." Cera sarcastically commented. Spike laughed and said, "It was nothing, buddy."

"We just glad for you." Petrie added. Ducky then said, "Now go and be the best king you can be."

"Yep, yep, yep." Chomper said, making the Big Mouth Swimmer giggle. Breaking away from them, Chomper then started climbing up the stone steps. When he reached the top, he met with Rai and Ruby. The two bowed in respect for the king. But Chomper just smiled as he wrapped his arms around them. The two shaman dinosaurs were a bit surprised, but they too smiled as they returned it. When they parted, Rai then told him, "It is time, young king."

"It is time for you to be king. To be king it is time for you." Ruby added. Though a little off by what she had said, they understood her meaning. Chomper then turned and started walking up the ledge of Fang Rock. As he continued climbing, Chomper looked down to see the gathered pack and friends all watching him. He saw Littlefoot standing at the back of the crowd. The Longneck nodded to him and Chomper just smiled back. Everyone continued to watch Chomper's ascension in awe while the rain continued to pour and the water washed away all of Scar-Eye's evil doings. When he made it to the to end, Chomper looked up into the sky and a spotted a large hole in the rain clouds. He could see the stars as his father's words rang in his heart, "Remember."

Chomper then smiled as he now accepted who he was. He was the son of Rex and Eda, the liberator of the Great Valley and Fang Rock, but mostly importantly; he was the rightful king of this pack. Then taking a deep breath, Chomper let loose a loud, proud and powerful roar that rang out over the valley. The Sharptooth pack, Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike, Pterano, Rai and Ruby all followed his example by roaring, bellowing or screeching with him. Chomper then followed up with one last roar.

Three days soon passed since the battle and while there was at least some water flowing through the land again, there were still a few problems. But Chomper decided that they could wait for a little longer. The new king was now sitting at the top of Fang Rock and let his legs dangle over the side. It had been a bit of a struggle to make sure that he wouldn't go over the edge, but he was able to do it. Rai and Ruby had treated his and everyone's wounds from the battle. He was currently thinking of all that had transpired from his coming home, and though while he knew that he had to, he wished that he didn't have to fight his family. He was angry that Scar-Eye had killed his father, but Scar-Eye had still been a part of his family. The purple Sharptooth only sighed as he continued to think. His thoughts were interrupted when the sound of footsteps made him look back. Scales was coming up to him and Chomper carefully climbed back onto his feet. When he was fully on the rock again, Chomper turned to his friend/love and said, "Hi."

"Hi." She said back to him. Chomper then asked her, "How are you feeling?"

"A little sore, here and there." Scales admitted. But then she smiled as she said, "But it was all worth it." Walking up to him she said, "But are you okay? We all saw you take some hard hits from your uncle."

"I know." Chomper said as he could feel the sting of his wounds. Scales walked over and gently nuzzled him. Chomper returned it and then said, "I have so much to do."

"And you won't be doing it alone." Scales promised him. Chomper then said, "I've got to go and take care of something. I'll be back soon." Then he asked her, "Watch the place while I'm gone?"

"Sure. But where are you going?" Scales asked him, curious as to where he might need to be. He took a minute before saying, "To go and see others who my uncle wronged."

He then walked past her to go and get started. Scales only watched as Chomper started walking down the path. She could only hope that he would be careful.

When Chomper had made it to the bottom of the stone steps, he was about to start walking to his destination when a voice said, "Going somewhere?"

Chomper looked behind him to see Littlefoot walking up to him. Chomper grimaced upon seeing his friend's scar. Rai and Ruby had told them that Littlefoot would be fine, he just needed to heal. The Longneck was wearing some leaves tied to his head and neck to cover them, but Chomper could still see a little of it. Chomper then said, "I need to go and talk to the Fast Biters."

"How come?" Littlefoot asked while not looking too surprised. The brown Longneck was surprised, but he had a feeling Chomper would go and do this. Chomper then said, "Well, since they had been betrayed by my uncle as much as he betrayed my family and the pack…"

"You want to let them know that they aren't alone in the world." Littlefoot guessed. Chomper nodded. Littlefoot then offered, "I'll come with you."

"Thanks." Chomper said with a smile. The two friends started walking in the direction of the valley's entrance.

It didn't take too long to reach the opening and they soon came outside the valley walls. They could see the border to the Mysterious Graveyard just a little ways away and continued walking. When they reached the border, the two friends could see that someone was already there. Two someone's in fact. Chomper and Littlefoot proceeded with caution.

Clawdette looked up to see the purple Big Biter and the brown Longneck walking up to her. Screech also looked up to see who she was seeing. Both Fast Biters stood along the border and Chomper and Littlefoot stopped a few feet from them. Clawdette then questioned, "What are the two of you doing here?" She then hissed as she added, "Come to finish us off?"

"No." Chomper said with a shake of his head. What he said next shocked the two of them, "I came by to say that I'm sorry."

"Wait, what?" Screech asked as he didn't understand. Shaking her head of the confusion, Clawdette then demanded, "Explain yourself."

"Easy there." Chomper said while raising his hands to calm here. Then he said, "I'm apologizing 'cause I know what it's like to be deceived by someone you trust. You and I were both fooled by my uncle, thinking that he was someone we could look to."

Clawdette glanced down and Screech looked to his mate. Clawdette looked to the new king when Chomper said, "I know that we've all been at each other's throats for quite a while now, but I want to work something out."

(Cue Friendship with Broly track)

"Like what?" Screech questioned. But Clawdette hissed and glared at him to be quiet. Screech complied with her and she then asked, "We're listening."

"I don't know if we'll ever be able to live in the Great valley without being at each other's throats." Chomper started. Then he said, "But I do know of a place that you and your clan can live.

"It's almost that's kind of like the Great Valley, but there's enough room for everyone." Chomper promised. Clawdette then questioned, "Is this really just a way to get rid of us?"

"No, it's not." Chomper said with a shake of his head. Then he told her, "It's a place that would be much better than the Mysterious Graveyard, I guarantee it."

"How can we be sure that you're telling the truth?" Screech asked and narrowed his eyes. Chomper took a moment to think about it before saying, "Because I just want to do right by everyone."

"And what of the food?" Clawdette asked. Chomper then said, "Well, there might not be any bigger prey, but there is an abundance of Scaly Swimmers swimming through the rivers."

Clawdette and Screech looked to each other as they both thought over Chomper's words. Clawdette nodded to her mate and he did the same. Looking back to the Sharptooth King, Clawdette then said, "Very well, your Majesty. We will try your solution."

Looking to Screech she ordered, "Get the Clan ready to move out. We leave before the Bright Circle gets too high."

"Okay." Screech said with a bow to his leader/mate. When he dashed back into the Mysterious Graveyard, Clawdette looked back to Chomper and said, "Though I still have my grudges against you, Big Biter, maybe you're not so bad."

"Thanks." Chomper said with a small grin. The Fast Biter started to leave and glanced back to him. Chomper waited for what she had to say. Clawdette then told him, "We'll be in touch."

(End of track)

Neither Chomper nor Littlefoot said anything as she disappeared back into her territory. The two friends then started to take their leave as well. Littlefoot then said, "Chomper, there's something I need to tell you."

"Okay. What is it?" Chomper said, looking to the Longneck. Littlefoot then said, "In a few days, I'll be leaving the Great Valley?"

"What?" A shocked Chomper said and stopped walking. Littlefoot also stopped walking as well and turned to the young king. Then he calmed down and then asked, "But why?"

"Though while I do have you, Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike, Scales and even Ruby as friends…" Littlefoot started. Then he said, "I don't have any other real ties to the Great Valley." He looked out to the horizon and said, "Plus, there's so much of the world that I want to see."

Though Chomper was a little disappointed that his friend was leaving, he respected Littlefoot's wishes. He then asked, "So, I guess I'll tell everyone when we get back? And basically this is goodbye?"

"Only for right now." Littlefoot said and Chomper looked down as he became sad. But Littlefoot used his tail to lift the Big Biter's head and said, "Hey, chin up, my friend. You're one of the best friends that I've ever had."

"You too." Chomper said before the two embraced in a hug. When they broke the hug, Littlefoot then said, "Plus, I might come back early should I hear that you're not doing too well at being king."

"And what is that supposed to mean?" Chomper questioned with a quirked brow. Littlefoot then smiled as he said, "Well, considering that you're a fairly new and young king, who knows how many mistakes you'll make."

"Hey, mistakes help one learn." The purple Sharptooth said in his defense. Littlefoot chuckled and then said, "Yeah, but who knows if they'll be big or small." He shook his head and said, "Though they'll more than likely be big ones."

"Oh, what do you know." Chomper said with a grin and started to walk off. He didn't get far as he felt something wrap around his ankle and tripped him up. Chomper yelped and he fell to the ground. He rolled onto his side and saw the Longneck chuckling to himself. Chomper cracked a grin himself and said, "Oh, gonna cause a little trouble before you go, huh?"

"Oh, maybe a little." Littlefoot said before the two started to have a little fun. Chomper rose up to his feet and quickly rushed at the Longneck. Using his head, Chomper was able to knock Littlefoot over. Littlefoot looked up to Chomper with a grin as the Big Biter stood at his full height. Littlefoot was quick to rise back up on his feet and the two rushed at each other. Their bodies crashed into each other and they playfully tried to push each other over. Thanks to his bigger bulk, Littlefoot was able to topple Chomper onto his back. The brown Longneck smirked as he soon stood over his friend and was about to end it. But Chomper wasn't done yet as he used both of his back feet to push Littlefoot back. Chomper quickly rolled away from the Longneck before rising back up to his feet. The two cast friendly glares at each other before Littlefoot rushed forward. But Chomper side stepped out of the way of his charging friend and when Littlefoot was starting to pass him, Chomper was able to use his shoulder to knock Littlefoot down. The Longneck rolled across the ground before stopping on his back. A shadow loomed over his head and he saw Chomper standing over him this time. The brown Longneck started to get up, but gasped when he saw Chomper's foot on his chest. The purple Sharptooth had a toothy grin and asked, "Give up."

"Looks like I don't have much of a choice." Littlefoot said with a grin of his own. Chomper removed his foot from Littlefoot's chest and stuck out a three clawed hand. Littlefoot raised his paw up and grasped Chomper's arm. With a grunt from both, Chomper was able to help Littlefoot back onto his feet. The two just started laughing from their fun before continuing on their way back to the valley. But as they were walking, Chomper smirked before whacking Littlefoot in the side with his tail. Littlefoot cried out in pain before looking to his friend, "What was that for?"

"Oh, a little payback." Chomper said before glancing to his head. Littlefoot only sighed before the two started laughing again.

A few days came and went, and it was time for Littlefoot to leave. Chomper, the pack and their friends were standing at the bottom of the stone steps as the Longneck stood in front of them. Ruby and Rai had prepared a farewell gift for their friend. On the Longneck's back was a pouch made of vines that had a few herbs and other supplies. Chomper came forward and said, "I wish you all the luck in the world, my friend." He nodded and added, "I really do."

"Thanks. For everything." Littlefoot said with a bow of his head. They all bowed their heads to him as well. Chomper, Littlefoot, Scales, Cera, Ducky, Spike, Petrie and Ruby all embraced each other one more time before letting the Longneck go. Chomper then asked, "So, where will the Lone Dinosaur go to now?"

"A few places here and there." Littlefoot said before shrugging. Then he said, "I might be able to find some of the herds and tell them that it's safe to come back. That the rightful king is home."

Chomper only smiled and they all watched as Littlefoot turned away and started walking. They didn't say anything and just stuck together while Littlefoot didn't look back. Tears rolled down everyone's eyes to the departure of their friend. But they all knew they would see him again. They watched as Littlefoot disappeared into the rising sun and out into the world.

Author's Note: One more little piece and then we are just about done with this story. I hope that you've all enjoyed this adventure, because I sure did. I may write the sequel and a prequel story just to let you get a glimpse of the past and future. But like I said, I won't be doing anymore major Lion King parodies for a while. I look forward to reading your reviews. Be sure to leave a comment either about if I've done something wrong or if you want something specifically to happen. See you next time.
