Chapter 3.

Marcel was busy cleaning the deck as he heard a commotion downstairs.He saw the knight run up that Chris knocked unconscious.He then saw Zidane and Chris along with the mage Vivi in front of him. Marcel looked for Garnet and sighed. " What's going on here " He said siting on barrel placing the mop on the side of him. Zidane ready his daggers and looked at Marcel. " Oh Garnet's playing Tetra master with Blank , and nice job on the floors and deck " He said.

Marcel nodded and yawned as they reached the gates to Lindblum. He heard roars from a monster that landed on the ship's deck. Chris pushed the knight he knocked out of the way of a thunder attack. Marcel noticed the enemy remind him of Vivi.He watched as Chris used Carbuncle to reflect the attacks. " Now go all out to defeat it Zidane " Chris said noticing he entered a trance dueling Adelbert Steiner. Zidane nodded and focused on the mage enemy. Vivi joined in as well did Adelbert who entered trance as well. Marcel watched as Vivi used fire on the enemy.

Zidane slashed away with his sword. Adelbert attack a lot as well.He noticed Chris was fighting with his sword and trying to mug the enemy. Marcel heard a cough from Baku and attacked the enemy using exodia's head and helped defeat the enemy. Marcel grabbed the mop and started cleaning the deck again Adelbert looked at Chris " So why join the knights of Pluto , and then betray us and your queen " He asked.

Chris stretched his arms " Oh I joined the knights of pluto to get better at sword fighting , and betraying Garnet's mom I did that because My brother Zidane asked for help " He said. Adelbert scratched his face " I understand but why hide your the power similar to Garnet's " He asked. Chris nodded " Oh I thought if i used it would cause problems , So i did train using that power but only when I was on duty alone " He said. Adelbert looked at Chris and Zidane and sighed being handed a mop by Marcel. " Baku mind if I take a break " Marcel asked.

Baku nodded fine as Marcel walked downstairs to get something to eat.He noticed Garnet eating some rice and took a seat next to her after grabbing a bowl. She looked at Marcel and smiled. " So what was the commotion on the deck " She asked finishing her bowl of rice. He took a breath " Oh we fought a mage enemy , It used thunder attacks " He said.

She nodded as he ate the rice.He put his rice down " So , have you talked to Chris about having the same summoning power" He asked. She nodded no hearing the airship land. He sighed " I have a question , When would you like to discuss where I come from and the cards that are not Tetra master " He asked. Garnet chuckled " Marcel are you asking me out " She asked. He gulped and smiled " Yeah , I am Garnet " He said nervously. Garnet kissed him on the cheek and took his hand.

Zidane , Chris , and Adelbert saw Garnet run past holding Marcel's hand. Chris rolled his eyes and walked after them. Vivi and Baku were playing Tetra master. " Zidane go with Chris to keep an eye on Marcel and Garnet , Since we have to meet the regent in the morning " Baku said. Zidane nodded running after the three. Adelbert quickly followed as well after them.

Marcel and Garnet took one of the cab's to the theater district. He noticed the base of the tantalus theater troupe. Garnet was looking at the map they bought for 1 gil. Marcel smiled at her and noticed a person bump into him as he fell to the ground.He noticed the person was smoking a cigar. " Sorry about that kid , I have to get back to the stall I run " the shop keeper said.

Marcel nodded siting up and being handed a unlit cigar as an apology.Garnet put the map away looking at Marcel on the floor." Are you all right Marcel " She asked. Marcel nodded fine taking the cigar as the guy walked away.Garnet helped Marcel up. " I am glad your fine , by the way do you smoke " She asked. Marcel nodded no placing the cigar in his pocket " I'll throw it away later , where should we get a drink while we talk " He asked.

Marcel noticed Chris followed by Zidane. " We know a place " Both said. Marcel and Garnet nodded following both to the air cab. Marcel smiled at the friends he made and noticed a poster for the monster hunt. Zidane and Chris looked at the poster. " Lets all enter and see who will win , How about it Marcel and Garnet " Chris asked. Marcel and Garnet nodded sure as they got on the air cab missing Adelbert.
