I wrote a previous story about the movies and how they got things wrong but I couldn't remember the movies super well so I couldn't name much now I will.be naming some more this is going to get a lot more things wrong then the last lets begin with the missing character,
1: clarrisa (don't remember her last name) daughter of ares: in the books when Percy first came to camp clarissa (don't even know how to spell it don't judge me) wast not the nicest she actually tried to dunk his head in the toilet with a couple of her fellow Ares kids but he ended up controlling the water and fighting them off. but lets take a look at the movies I got decently far through and clarissa wasn't there! she plays a pretty big part in the books now you have a reason to hate the movies Evan more then you already do.
2: why was Hades there? in the movies Hades shows up in the campfire at camp half blood and demands the master bolt, and tells Percy that he has his mother, and he looked like some sort of giant demon? I mean come on, anyone reading the book knows he does not look like that, and were those wings?! Hades doesn't have wings!
and if you don't hate Percy Jackson movies yet them read on, percy was supposed to be going to the underworld to confront Hades and get the master bolt and what do you know it didn't happen,
3: Percy Jackson age, in the books Percy was like twelve or thirteen but in the movies I believe he was like eighteen or something,
4: you call this a prophecy? in the books the prophecy goes
a half_blood of the eldest gods
shall reach sixteen against all odds
and see the world in endless sleep
the heroes soul, cursed blade shall reap
a single choice shall end his days
Olympus to preserve or raze
and then the movie version
the half_blood of the eldest gods
shall reach twenty against all odds
and see the world in endless sleep
the evil soul, cursed blade shall reap
a singe choice to end his days
Olympus to preserve or raze
EVIL SOUL HUH?! EVIL! twenty against all odds? what Evan? another reason to hate the movies
5: oracle explains the past? in the movies Percy goes to get the prophecy but the oracle explains the past with the titans and the gods and all that in the books Percy doesn't get a huge talk on the past he just gets the prophecy,
6: the pearls, in the books Percy decides to go in the water and meets a women that looks like his mom but isn't, she tells him a lot but what were discussing here is that she gave him three magical pearls that they ended up using to get away from Hades, but in the movies Luke gives them a map to find the pearls before they go on a quest, but again wrong!
7: where is the first prophecy? in the books Percy is actually sent on a quest and is given a prophecy, but in the movies Percy doesn't get the prophecy and sneaks out of camp on the quest when he wasn't supposed to, I was angry watching those movies,
8: kronos eats his kids, in the books kronos eats all of his children except one Zeus who was safely stashed away by his mother and after Zeus grew up he fed kronos a mixture of mustard and wine, witch made him disgorge his other five children, but in the movies Poseidon Hades and Zeus didn't get eaten, and then destroyed kronos
this is it for now, but please comment your opinion on this, once again I'm hoping the show to do better especially with the author helping
