Youthintruth: Yeah, sorry about that.
DopeKesha: Uh…yeah, okay.
ThotKesha: …
StraightUpHippo: Yeah, I wanted him to have a sad backstory.
Please enjoy the next chapter.
A demon and an angel stood in front of the three and Marco narrowed his eyes. Confused. Moon shook her head, "Marco, do you know these two?" ignoring the woman, Marco held his left arm out, forming a bow and he reached up with his right hand and pulled the string back and the two humans saw an arrow forming, "Marco?"
"You two have a lot of nerve coming here," Marco hissed through his teeth.
"Please, Marco," the angelic woman spoke, drawling a sword from the sheath by her side, "The blood of an angel and the blood of a demon might course through you, but you've never received any type of training. You don't know how to fight,"
"And using a bow and arrow in close quarters is reckless," the demonic man spoke, "Your arrows will have no air time and your intended target can easily see-" the man spotted the golden ring on Marco's right middle finger and his eyes widened, "Is that…the Golden Ring of Solomon!"
"The Golden Ring of what? What is that? Some kind of demon arti-" spotting the brass ring on Marco's left middle finger, the woman narrowed her eyes, "The Brass Ring of Humility? And what makes you think a monster like you can wield such a precious artifact?"
"The Devine Dove gave me the Brass Ring of Humility yesterday, and the Ranked Owl bestowed me with the Golden Ring of Solomon just a little bit ago, and since you two are here, you're going to tell me what each ring does. I only know that each ring is given to the one who truly deserves them and the wearer is stuck with them for life, but outside of that, I know nothing about them," the room was silent for a moment before it filled with a blinding light.
The light dimmed and Marco looked up to see the angel and demon were gone, "Damn,"
"So…who were they?" Moon asked slowly, a concerning look crossing her face, "And since when can you conjure up a bow and arrow?"
"Ever since I was five, it's the demon blood in me, and they…they were my parents," Marco laxed his arm and the bow and arrow faded, "Didn't think they'd come here, didn't think they'd run away like cowards, but they seemed upset when they learned that I have both the Brass Ring of Humility and the Golden Ring of Solomon…why?"
"More appropriate question, boy, why didn't you use that bow and arrow when they've held you captive?" River asked.
"Because it was an army of them versus one of me, and I didn't like those odds, so I kept hoping that my mother would see how stupid she was being and come save me, but…she did the exact opposite and made me feel worse, forcing me to go through my first Evil-Cycle and went on a rampage for a few days before I calmed down and was recaptured. After that…you know the rest," the two sighed and slowly nodded before Marco turned and walked past them and out of the house.
Star, Brittney, Sabrina and Ashley walked up to the Butterfly house and saw Marco standing on the front step, staring up at the sky with narrowed eyes, "So did my parents yell at you?" Star questioned before spotting the newly acquired ring on his finger, "And…more jewelry?'
"The Golden Ring of Solomon and no your parents didn't yell at me,"
"Whoa, no need to get…wait, the Golden Ring of Solomon? Isn't the ring you mentioned last night?" Star arched a brow.
Brittney, Sabrina and Ashley looked at the blonde in confusion before looking up at the hybrid and he groaned and shook his head, "I was trying to make a joke," taking a deep breath, he shouted, "You goddamn Ranked Owl!" the four jumped at the tone in Marco's voice began he began breathing heavily.
Sabrina swallowed hard as she slowly stepped towards Marco, "A-are you okay?" Marco looked at the auburn cheerleader and continued to pant, "Do you…do you need anything? Are you going through an Evil-Cycle?"
Looking around, Marco saw the concerning looks crossing everyone's faces before he inhaled and exhaled slowly and straightened himself up, "I'm fine…I just…didn't expect my parents to, out of the fucking blue, show up," their eyes widened as Marco walked off the steps and shook his head, "And once my father saw the Golden Ring of Solomon and my mother saw the Brass Ring of Humility, they left…I was even ready to kill them here and now,"
"What? But we thought your plan was to take over heaven and hell, have your armies slaughter one another and then kill your parents," Ashley said, "What happened with tha-"
"I'm still going to do all of that, but I figured if they were right in front of me, get that part done and over with. And you forgot to add in the part where I'll watch as my kingdoms quiver in fear," the air between the five grew still as Marco sighed and shook his head, "Anyway, your dads are going to teach my how to play sports without sending someone to the hospital so we can avoid another day like today…but like I said, it wasn't my fault they didn't explain the rules to me,"
"Yeah, but it should've been obvious that you shouldn't send people to the hospital," Brittney scolded, "Just be lucky you only got a two-day suspension. It could've been worse. You could've been expelled and the families of those five kids could sue you for what you did," Marco smirked before he began laughing and shaking his head, "This is no laughing matter, you idiot! You can get into some serious trouble. After you left, students have bene talking about the dodgeball massacre you've caused,"
"Dodgeball massacre? Is that what they're calling it?" Marco smirked as he crossed his arms, "Well if they want to sue me, they're more than welcomed to. I don't have anything to lose, so it'll be a fruitless effort on their part." The four looked at each other before looking back at Marco before he walked past them, "I'm going for a walk…you can join me or you can do your homework, I don't care," the four frowned before they followed Marco down the street in silence.
Well…please enjoy,
