I do not own…

A/N: Now onto the Civil War.

A month had passed since Kagome had gone to MIT and things were going well. Then Tony had come over like he always does every year to donate to the school. He hosted an assembly to show off his new device that can show a memory. The memory he chose was the day after christmas and he was spending the week at his parents house. This was the second time Kagome had seen her grandfather by the first seeing her grandmother. She knew that this must be emotional for her father as he truly loved grandma.

"That's how I wish it happened. Binarily Augmented Retro-Framing or BARF. God, I gotta work on that acronym. An extremely costly method of hijacking the hippocampus...to (sigh) clear traumatic memories. It doesn't change the fact that they never made it to the airport...or all the things I did to avoid processing my grief, but…" Tony explained and took off the glasses device. "Plus, $611 million for my little therapeutic experiment? No one in their right mind would've ever funded it. Help me out, what's the MIT mission statement?"

"To generate disseminate...and preserve knowledge." Kagome and everyone said

"And work with others...to bring it to bear on the world's great challenges. Well, you are the others. And quiet as it's kept...the challenges facing you are the greatest mankind's ever known. Plus, most of you are broke." Tony stated "Oh, I'm sorry. Rather, you were. As of this moment...every student has been made an equal recipient of the inaugural September Foundation Grant. As in...all of your projects have just been approved and funded."

Everyone clapped in excitement.

"No strings, no taxes...just reframe the future!" Tony smiled "Starting now."

When she saw how heartbroken her father was before he left, Kagome got up from her seat to make sure he was alright.

"Dad." She said

Tony turned around and smiled when he saw his daughter.

"Hey, princess." He hugged her and wrapped an arm around her as they walked down the hall. "How was your old man out there?"

"Great but dad is something wrong you seem a bit…"

"Mr. Stark, I am so sorry about the teleprompter. I didn't know Miss Potts had canceled." A woman said "They didn't have time to fix it."

"It's fine." Tony said

Kagome didn't have to use her powers to know that he and Pepper have been having problems. When the woman left Kagome and Tony ended in the hallway near the bathrooms and elevator. Sadly before she could cheer him up there was a woman there waiting for them. Apparently her son had died when they were battling Ulron in Sokovia and she blamed them for his death.
